I called the main number and was pleasantly made to feel extremely comfortable .They walked me through what they thought I needed in driving lessons .They were down to earth and very professional. I asked for a woman instructor which they had and said she has tons of experience. I took the 8 hour mandatory class which began the experience. The man teaching the class was also excellent. Reviewed the road test and also some basic language of driving which I needed to start this journey and feel comfortable. I met Linda who could not of been nicer. They pick you up and drop you off where ever needed. She made me feel so comfortable and walked me through all of the details of the car . She has incredible patience and superior knowledge of how to drive and teach the maneuvers. I needed a lot of work on the road but each lesson she remained optimistic and continued to educate and focus me on being behind the wheel. Parking was very challenging and she spent sometimes the entire lesson doing it over and over until I was able to grasp it. I think its important when picking a driving school that you look for experience. They have passed so many people with driving tests. When selecting a school that is the most important part. I highly recommend Linda and the entire team at Tom's Driving School. It doesn't matter your age or level they can adapt a program to suit your needs. I was able to pass my driving test thanks to Linda. I could not be happier about my experience and you will too. Don't hesitate and call today you will not be disappointed.

Almost forgot to renew my license before my birthday in a few days. The DMV by my house was already…read morebooked up so I came to the Stamford DMV by my job. I conveniently parked my car right out front. This location is appointment only and they only accept credit/debit, NO cash. The waiting area was unique as it had tables. You can check in on your phone. You get a text message when it's your turn. I didn't even notice how the whole process took me an hour because I was peacefully entertained using my phone. I wouldn't mind having to come here again, hopefully I won't have to until 2032!

Our appointment was at 8:55A, they took us at 9:03. Impressive. The young lady we were assigned to was SO helpful and patient. I had left some items blank on the title because I did not want to complete them incorrectly and she assisted me in completing them correctly. The days of DMV hell are truly over!!

My son scheduled his own appointment to get a permit. Upon entering we were instructed by the security guard to go in the rear of the building for the permit process. There at the Help Desk, the woman, whose name was Jennifer I think, she was so professional and friendly. It cought me off guard because she epitomized what good customer service is, and because this is "The DMV" I expected sas. She made such a good impact on our visit. She was so kind, helpful and swift with every person that walked in. She attended to each person like someone who loves their job.
