have generally been satisfied with the dealership, but I was disappointed with my experience…read moreyesterday. I had a 1:00 p.m. appointment and waited three hours before being told it would take at least another hour. Customers should be informed in advance if the service may take four or five hours so they can make other arrangements. I was quoted approximately $800 for the brake service, but the labor cost was not clearly explained or itemized before I approved the work. After paying nearly $1,000, I realized that about $430 was for labor. The parts and labor charges should be clearly separated before the customer authorizes the service. I would appreciate it if you could review my invoice and consider an adjustment to the labor charge.

The customer service is good, but I can see the dealership is money hungry. I've never in my life…read morehad a monthly note of 1,400.00. Something isn't right! Yeah I was hurt on the job and wasn't getting paid, so that lowered my credit score. I just got back to work, so I just wanted some more truck space really for my music equipment. They keep cutting the back of these vehicles smaller. I traded in the Mazda SUV a Toyota car. I read online that Toyota vehicles are reliable! And I was tired of the little space in the Cx-50. I've never had a really good experience at any dealership except for the one I went to in Towson Maryland. I wrote a letter to the Better Business Bureau years ago when I was younger because I had a lot of money then, but I wasn't stupid at all. I kept giving up money and asking for what I wanted and I would get the run around, the salesman would say take this vehicle and your jeep should be available next week! That wasn't the case! The next thing I knew "Darcars was shut down on Saint Barnabas Road. You just can't treat people any kind of way. I didn't ask for anything extra, so hopefully I can get somethings removed from this paperwork! I know I have thirty days to make any changes. Before I walk into any dealership I ask for what I want before I waste my time driving to the lot. I asked for a vehicle with more trunk space. I went to the Used car lot now! I wanted lower payments! I got a new vehicle and my payments were doubled. I was already paying 812.00 for this little Mazda, and I'm just catching up on all my bills since Sedgwick decided not to pay me correctly! This really upsets that people just aren't cool unless you go further out. I appreciate everyone taking the time to help me out, but I'm thinking I would have got better service if the person in charged calls me in and say I can help you! Nope not so! This really made my situation worse. I wanted a truck, but it wasn't available. I just can't seem to get better service unless I go further out of town. I just know right now, no one really cares about anything but money now. The next time I make a move! I will have the money to buy anything with the credit union. This financing and adding on extra fees that are really unnecessary for me is not the way to go. Just be careful when going into the financing process because something just isn't right. I am not driving a Ferrari or anything, so this monthly note should not be this high! I've been in way bigger vehicles and never paid a high note with the negative equity rolled over from my other vehicle! I appreciate everything, but it would be better if the person could let me know if they can really help me or not before I get up out the bed and spend hours doing something I may regret doing letter on. All I can say is! Don't be like me, and go in somewhere hoping you can get whatever you want without anything other than a vehicle to trade in, but make sure you just have the money to buy what you want straight out, and then you won't have to deal with all the hidden fees being attached somewhere in the end.

This is an update from my previous review…read more Friendly/attentive staff, clean waiting room and restroom, and water/coffee available for anyone that would want it. I waited for an oil change and routine maintenance. Normally the maintenance with an appointment would take a little over an hour but this was not the case today. Appointment time: 10:00 a.m. Arrival time: 10:01 a.m. Time I walked out with my keys in my hand: 12:08 p.m. Total completion time: 2 hours 6 minutes. I peeked out the window to find that my car had been serviced and parked. I'm not sure for how long, but there was some sort of team meeting/talk going on that could've contributed to the delay. I drew their attention to my car being done and they indicated only the paperwork needed to be done. I popped into the restroom and came right back out. There was an additional 25 minute delay from the point that I informed them. I missed another appointment due to this unexpected wait time. If you use Waldorf Ford services, I suggest you anticipate at least 2 hours for the completion time of regular maintenance.

I asked for them to justify the $4600 and got ZERO response. The taxes should have been about $1920 and the tags about $500-600. My math shows that equals about $2500-2600 but their math shows that it equals $4600. I hope they see this review!!! They say one thing and do another!.. Buyer beware before you sign!

It was expensive, and it appears…read morethat some dealers and service companies in today's economy will utilize whatever means to get as much money as possible from you. I was upset because after leaving the parking lot, a part of my vehicle that should have been secured from the start fell apart, and if I hadn't done my research and spoken with management, it would have become a new repair job. As I previously stated, it came apart after less than a mile of leaving the parking lot The other concern is that the financing option should be more thoroughly stated up front. Yes, for certain people, it may be beneficial to avoid the excessive fees that these dealer services are imposing on their customers who want to use a credit card, and this is not just at this location.  Again, this may be a good thing for unforeseen car repairs expenses and if you have good credit, but customers should be aware that their debit card is required and that it will be deducted automatically from their checking account without their awareness once you are approved. Overall, your experience may vary, but that was my experience, and lots of things can be improved. This feedback is not because I am angry, at anyone there, but maybe to improve some areas, and put the customer back in focus. I only took one star off based on the overall experience.

No trading in, sell the old car in a private sale or donate to charity. All dealers make the biggest profits on reselling your old car. Don't put yourself in the position to feel you are against the wall. All in all, don't go thinking this is the only place to buy a car. Don't like what you see, or don't like the dealing, leave, go somewhere else. Bottom line, this has been a good place to purchase cars.

Waldorf, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram…read more I brought my Jeep Wrangler to this dealership because the transmission light came on, the vehicle was jerking, and it was unsafe to accelerate or reverse. The initial service representative told me it would be a three-day wait just to have the vehicle looked at. While trying to figure out a plan outside, a second staff member approached me. I explained that the vehicle would not reverse at all, making it impossible for me to even back out of their lot safely. I also mentioned an active recall on the vehicle. I was told that because they did not have a certified transmission technician on-site, they could not help me and that the recall repair wouldn't fix the issue anyway. Instead of offering to help arrange a tow or ensuring my safety, the staff member told me my best option was to drive the malfunctioning vehicle over 30 minutes away in heavy traffic to dealerships in Annapolis or Alexandria. When I reminded him that I could not even put the vehicle in reverse to leave, he asked if I could drive forward, told me to use the forward gears to get back on the main highway, and wished me good luck. A specialized dealership should never advise a customer to drive a severely compromised, unsafe vehicle back into traffic. The complete lack of assistance, basic safety concern, or guidance on alternative towing options was incredibly disappointing. Update: I managed to get the vehicle to a different Jeep dealership, where the staff took the situation seriously and took the vehicle in for service immediately without hesitation. That is how urgent safety issues should be handled.

After moving to Waldorf, I was impressed with (and a little skeptical of) Boswell's nearly 5 Star Yelp rating. After using Boswell's twice, I quickly experienced how they earned and maintain their reputation. The owner, Tom is not afraid to tell you his rates up front and give his best estimate on time needed to diagnose/fix. He is candid about when he will be able to get to your car. I never felt pressure for any repairs - Tom is like an experienced doctor who gives his best diagnosis for what is wrong with a vehicle including options and costs for different courses of action. After 5 years, Boswell's is still our go-to auto repair shop. Through many repairs over the years, both small and large - Boswell's consistently provides fair prices, good service, and great communication. Thanks, Tom! If you ever find yourself stuck in the area and need car repairs I would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone
