She's in the beginner class that lasts one hour and has around seven kids. The kids learn something new each class but usually always get trampoline and balance beam time. The class is dividend into small groups so each child gets as much time to practice as possible. The instructors are in their 20s, very nice and calm with the kids. I love that everyone uses soft voices and don't pressure the kids. All-Star Academy does a great job at creating an inviting space. On most Sundays, they have open gym. The kids can practice and try everything out without following the structure of a class. Instructors are around for safety but not to teach. This is a great way for anyone to try out the space without committing to a weekly class. The beginner class is for kids who are learning to do cartwheels, handstands, and practice balance. During each class, other classes are also going on. It's neat for the kids and parents to see what the more advanced classes are doing. The instructors do a great job of making sure each class is separated and has enough space. I would highly recommend All-Star Academy for any level of gymnastics or cheerleading training.

The owners are unprofessional, rude, and simply disrespectful. They DO NOT care about the girls - they only care you pay them. We had a terrible experience with customer service at this gym. I am not sure how they are still in business. Our daughter switched to a different gym, and we absolutely love it there. What a difference! Many of her friends left All Star too, and every parent I talk to shares the same experience and same story I have about this place. It's not just me. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this gym. I am willing to pay more elsewhere, but will never go back and support this business. Not sure who leaves them positive reviews, but I have not talked to any parent who is pleased with their services. And do not be fooled by a polite response to this post - they will try...

My 7yo wanted to tumble and another cheer parent recommended we try this facility. I loved that it…read morewas on a monthly bases and that we would have the opportunity to continue, or not if we chose after a month. Our first and ONLY full class took place on Monday, 11/5. We returned on Monday (11/12) to find the doors locked, the place closed. I received NO communication that there would be no class that evening. Nor did I receive any communication for a makeup class. We arrived the following Monday (11/19) for our next scheduled class, once again the place was locked and another parent, like myself, was waiting, wondering what was going on and why there was NO ONE there to facilitate the class. Finally at 6:26 someone came with a Key jumped out, open the door and drove off. The Tumbling Class finally started with another coach that happened to show up around 630, the original instructor arrived at 656. My daughter ran over to me at 701 to tell me class was over. 30 MINUTES! I waited longer than that in the parking lot for someone to arrive and unlock the door! I have yet to receive an explanation, apology, or acknowledgement of any kind. Needless to say, we will not return to this facility!

She has improved her strength, stability, and technique in such a short amount of time. She has mastered her cartwheel, handstand, & walkover - And as we speak is working on her backhand spring. She has had Coach Stephanie every class, (I think by chance) and we couldn't be happier with her progress! My Daughter is SO excited and progresses with every single session. As a Mom, I love this place! You sign up and pick which time/day session works for you! With 4 kids running everywhere it really comes in handy! If you miss a week, you can make you session up the following week. We haven't tried the competitive cheer- but my Daughter loves tumbling SO much... I'm sure it's in our future! Owner and staff publicly gossips about parents. Favoritism results in 3 out of 22 girls being showcased without talent being deciding criteria. It is a lot of money to invest in my daughter standing in the back. Carpets are very unclean. Ugly 80's gym uniform knock off outfits required for practice cost $90. 2 1/2 years with 6 + months 1 on 1 and my daughter could not do a handstand. They keep to lower level events in order to increase trophies and banners. This makes them appear better than they are. 5/22 parents at least left the team due to hostile environment being supported by owner. If you are even 1 minute late then the team parent and staff publicly bash you and continue to do it repeatedly once you are there. Adult targeted a 6 year old and the owner supported the adults behavior. Fund raising is decent if you are with Kathleen. Karlette's site is said to be a tense and toxic environment. Tumbling for preschool: the instructor literally put her head upside down and had the kids play in her hair. This was lengthy and was instead of the gymnastic instruction they were being paid for. Repeatedly wasted time of tumbling practice. No cancelation policy for 1 on 1. They don't even allow you to find someone else to take the slot. Owner in writing canceled practices and fraudulently charged. This was not a policy covered charge. Brian had some improvement with my daughter as an instructor when compared to others. My recommendation is go to ICE. They have policies to prevent a toxic environment.
