Thrift, don't support predatory businesses like this. I feel that "Shop Vintage" is exploitative because they seriously jack up the prices of clothing. It's really gross that scalpers are swooping in to the thrift stores and buying up these clothes (for pennies on the dollar) so the people they were intended for can no longer afford them at a reasonable price. Yes, our donation centers have tons of "clothes", but a lot of that's fast-fashion synthetic garbage. It had no intention of longevity, whereas these textiles are valuable, which is exactly why this company continues to snatch these things up to resell at a premium. If you're fine with predatory practices, no one's stopping you from shopping here. I'd personally recommend popping in to thrift stores like the DI, where a vast majority of these clothes were donated in the first place. :( ** Edited to add, per their comment attached to my review: They claim their "clothing is sourced from 'wholesale warehouses' out of state that gather unsold donations." That string of buzzwords sounds nice, but in reality anything they buy was a previously "unsold donation", and them jacking up $5 jeans to a sickening $72 is not limited to state lines. They're up-charging and if you're fine with being scalped, and willing to pay ridiculous prices, then take my review with a grain of salt. This is just my 2¢...donate to thrift stores so people in need can reuse. It is disgraceful that the donation/thrifting cycle has become gentrified.

Her and her team pulled dresses for me, were hyping up all the girls in the store trying things on. This is truly such a lovely experience. Everything here is vintage and designer and in wonderful used condition. Because everything is designer, it's not your typical thrift store pricing - while it's still affordable for the items you're purchasing, it is still on the pricier side. Think of it as a high end consignment shop rather than a thrift store. This is a lovely consignment shop mostly geared toward clothing, but also has some accessories and…read moreshoes. It's divided into small sections where each seller sets up their items and then the buyer can shop from multiple sellers at once. Select what you want, try them on (yes!! they have dressing rooms!) and pay for it all in one transaction. The inventory is hit and miss; each seller has their own "style" as well as sizing. Some sections have only women's clothing, others have a mix of mens, womens and even children. There's a small poster above the rack that explains what you'll find in that section. I love supporting local folks and this is a great way to do it. The pricing was also fair-not quite thrift store, but better than what you'll find at the mall. I was happy with my finds!

However they legitimately had a ton of expensive name brand clothing for pretty low prices. The set up was a little confusing though. They have "stalls" and each stall has different types of items and entirely different pricing and deals. Best experience with these hard working men who picked up our donated furniture for their thrift…read moreshop in North Salt Lake, Utah. They were on time, lifted very heavy furniture while being careful, removing pictures and banisters so the furniture wouldn't damage anything. After they were finished they put things back in order. They were kind, hard working, communicative, repectful and careful. Afterwards they told us about their mission and journey to become responsible and accountable men. Their 2 year program of living on campus, vocational school, working to become successful productive and accountable adults. Each had a story of recovery and had tears in their eyes and worked as brotherhood together. It was inspiring and impressive. Thanks to Craigie, Carlos, Sean and Toppee for your great example.
