I always like to peruse a good thrift store, and this location was huge. They have a large variety of items and even highlighted seasonal items like Easter stuff, since that was the time of year I was there. It was a Saturday when I was there, and they were pretty busy. It wasn't too crowded, however, to get a look at everything they had to offer. I thought the pricing was pretty reasonable for most things, but I didn't end up buying anything on my visit. They had furniture, exercise equipment, and many small items too. They also had some food items available at the front if you wanted a snack while walking through the store. If I'd been in the market, I may have purchased a few interesting items.

Minimalists will feel a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff found in here and the seeming lack of organization. I find myself in the minimalist camp, but I can appreciate the fun that can be found in admiring old items and imagining the history that they hold. I just might stick to the aisles that are a little less cluttered.

One thing I want to share is that the book selection here is so wonderful! Almost all the books I looked at were only $2 - I even got a hardcover book for that price. Nothing is organize alphabetically, so you'll have to find some time treasure hunting, but that's the fun of thrift shopping, right? They have different sections - fiction/non-fiction, teen books, kids books, educational books, etc. The prices here are great, and they have a vast selection of items in their clothing sections and home goods sections. They have a TON of glassware, plates, bowls, kitchen stuff. Shelves full of games, puzzles, kids toys, stuffed animals. I did open up one of their scrabble games they had on the shelf and it only had the boards, no tiles, so they can't promise that the games or puzzles have all their pieces. I've been trying to get more thrifted gifts and thrifted items for myself. If you have a few hours to sort through the racks, try things on, and find things that you're looking for, this place is a great place to treasure hunt. I got a J. Crew top for $3 in great condition, a bunch of bowls, and three books and everything I purchased was only $12. Some of the sections are pretty unorganized - shoes didn't seem to be by size, books weren't alphabetical, etc. But that can be part of the fun of it, right?

Nearly every time I've come, people will shove and push you if a cart comes out. I've even seen people chase carts of stuff coming out and grab stuff so frantically they break perfectly good items. In fact, once the cart stops, it gets swarmed and a mob will practically fight over random baubles and it gets a bit physical. It's not a place to go to for casual thrifting, and honestly, you may get hurt because it's so competitive and people aren't afraid to literally shove you out of their way. I've never experienced behavior like this anywhere else. Try a different DI.
