I always like to peruse a good thrift store, and this location was huge. They have a large variety of items and even highlighted seasonal items like Easter stuff, since that was the time of year I was there. It was a Saturday when I was there, and they were pretty busy. It wasn't too crowded, however, to get a look at everything they had to offer. I thought the pricing was pretty reasonable for most things, but I didn't end up buying anything on my visit. They had furniture, exercise equipment, and many small items too. They also had some food items available at the front if you wanted a snack while walking through the store. If I'd been in the market, I may have purchased a few interesting items.

This one is similar in mission and purpose-look them up to see what local charity they provide-they do good things! The store is setup more like a boutique than a thrift store, which makes the experience feel a little nicer than just bargain hunting. Whomever is in charge of dressing the mannequins and putting out the displays does a fantastic job-it really sets the tone of the store and looks incredible! The inventory might be a little less than some of the other second hand stores in the game, but I think they might cater to an older, more classy audience than folks who want to look like they buy their clothes at a thrift store. (Nothing wrong with either group!) Based on the clientele I saw here, this is the perfect place to bring your mom or grandma or to get a lovely dress for a tea party with a matching hat. Some merchandise is marked higher than full retail, which feels exploitative, esp considering the inventory was donated. Every time I stop in, I see cheaply made dollar-store items (clearly labeled Greenbrier) priced at $5, or more. I've found two identical shirts marked $5 and $12. The same item, two completely different prices. There's no rhyme or reason... A great deal on one, $7 more for the exact same thing. As a longtime thrifter, that kind of inconsistency is hard to ignore. Savers is a for-profit company, so this isn't about supporting a charitable mission. If your shopping goal is to thrift and resell, you'll have a hard time turning a profit unless something slips through the cracks. I do want to note that the employees are super kind, hardworking, and they try to keep the store orderly. My frustration is strictly with the absurd, and inconsistent pricing.

They were so helpful and patient and kind while I felt like I was full of chaotic energy trying to help get everything ready. It was a breath of fresh air to have them both show up with such great energy and it helped me feel less stressed, too! Nearly every time I've come, people will shove and push you if a cart comes out. I've even seen people chase carts of stuff coming out and grab stuff so frantically they break perfectly good items. In fact, once the cart stops, it gets swarmed and a mob will practically fight over random baubles and it gets a bit physical. It's not a place to go to for casual thrifting, and honestly, you may get hurt because it's so competitive and people aren't afraid to literally shove you out of their way. I've never experienced behavior like this anywhere else. Try a different DI.
