We had them replace our roof, windowsills, fascia, and flashing and were told it'd be done in about 3 days. The "crews" they were supposed to send out ended up being one or two guys, so the work took sixty times as long. What was supposed to be a matter of days stretched to SIX MONTHS. Here's an incomplete list of only SOME of the problems we faced. 1. Scheduling conflicts. We were guaranteed a window of completion. My spouse took that time off work to be there in the house when the workers were there. They failed to complete the work. My spouse could not get more time off. I had to take time off. They failed to complete the work, again. My in-laws had to take time off to be there when I couldn't, and they STILL failed to complete the work on time. Our entire family took personal time off to be in the home while the workers were there, and the workers utterly wasted it. 2. They were unreachable 90% of the time. 3. They flat-out ignored emails. 4. They refused to fix noticeable problems. 5. They had the audacity to ask for payment while we still had roof imperfections we wanted them to address. 6. The project manager for our roof resigned/was fired and we weren't notified. We didn't find out until we couldn't reach him and called to ask what was going on. 7. They failed to pull a permit for the roof, causing the city of Houston to slap an unsightly sticker on our window that would have incurred a fine to remove. The supposed professional that was the project manager claimed he "didn't know he needed a permit." More likely, he probably hoped to pocket the money for the permit by attempting the repairs as quickly as possible, before the work could be reported. 8. They expertly decided to paint our fascia after a hard freeze, and the melting ice stripped away some of the paint. It took them weeks to send someone out to fix it. 9. They had to redo our windowsills because the first guy didn't use matching wood. After our roof work was "done," we noticed dips, where water could easily collect. Workers who worked on the roof even said they saw the dips, and the project manager (the one who conveniently "resigned") even said it would be easy enough to fix. The company asked for ADDITIONAL money to fix the dips that shouldn't have been there in the first place, had they done the job correctly. Overall, our experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and this entire business deserves to fail. Take your business elsewhere. We will be notifying our insurance company of this fiasco and demand they no longer recommend this terrible company to its customers.

First, I will clarify that this review is strictly for their quoting process only and not…read morespecifically for their product. We visited the Re-Bath store front in Houston to look at their products and have an initial discussion relative to our project. We were looking to (a) update a complete master bath or (b) re-do only the shower. It was recommended that we have a salesperson come out to the house to review the space and put together a proposal for both options. We booked an appointment for their 90-minute design and quote presentation. The salesperson arrived on time, and we reviewed the potential project. We discussed design options, wants and needs, to determine best directions for the two options. The salesperson took some measurements did a couple of layout drawings. We then sat down to review material options to allow for a quote. After completing the review and selecting materials, the salesperson retreated to their car to "prepare the proposal". Once done they returned to our kitchen, and we sat down to review the number. This is where the train jumped off the rails. The first "proposal" based on our desire to re-do the entire bathroom with the selected materials came in at $83k. Now let me clarify... the entire primary bath is just 104 square feet, and the "proposal" did not include replacing the existing tile floor. This would work out to almost $800/sqft. The salesperson, with a straight face I might add, offered up a couple of discounts if we "signed today" that would reduce the project cost all the way down to $64k ($615/sqft.)!! And remember...this did not include re-doing the floor! Next was the second "proposal" for re-doing the shower only. This is a relatively basic stand-up shower with a fiberglass pan footprint of approximately 16 square feet (48" x 48") with glass surround. This "proposal", using their wall panel and molded pan configuration came in... after the "sign today" discounts at $27k or approximately $1,700/sqft!! When we asked for the "proposals" to be sent to us by email so we could review the breakout/scope of work, that would allow us to see where we could cut some costs, such as reusing existing faucets (rather than the $450-$500 units they suggested), modifying lighting options, etc., all we were provided with was the dollar total with a sheet attached to show financing options. No breakout, nothing more! It has been two weeks since the salesperson was here and there has been no follow up whatsoever. We assume they weren't too serious about wanting the job with these type of prices. For $83/$64K I would expect the most luxurious 104 square foot bathroom one had ever seen but based on the materials we were presented with there was no way that was going to occur. Obviously, we did not "sign today" and will not any other day. If the quoting/proposal process, and lack of follow up is an indication of their overall service we would certainly not recommend Re-Bath Houston to anyone thinking of doing a bath remodel or simple update.

We had a very complex renovation with many steps, so we asked a lot of questions beforehand to make sure that the scope of the project was understood. Fast forward, and it is apparent he has either lied about many things or is just in way over his head as a contractor. The project dragged on for months with endless delays, excuses, and no clear timelines. The crew was constantly changing, unreliable, and often didn't show up at all. The work that was done was inconsistent, had to be redone on many occasions, and left unfinished at the end of the day. At the beginning, however, he worked very fast in order to extract more of the payments from us. Once we realized that, after materials we had purchased, we had paid the full amount of the project already but the work was only halfway done, he had completely vanished. Now he will not answer our calls or texts to save his life. Who knows what he is doing meanwhile, this entire year we have been trying to live in a house filled with unfinished work and broken promises. It has been so stressful for us and our kids to have to go through this. To add icing on the cake, he is using the pictures of our renovation without our consent to try and swindle more money out of unsuspecting customers. It is a very low blow and just adds to our suffering. I have kept holding out for the chance that he will do the decent and honest thing and either complete the work or return our last payment to make us whole. We do not have the budget to complete the work for now and will have to keep suffering. But it is apparent he is not honest in his dealings and I feel so gullible for falling for it. To sum it up, this has been stressful, expensive, and frustrating. I am very upset at the dishonesty and lack of accountability.
