Finally they said they'll reimburse me and gave me a date, that failed, another phone call and I was given the date 6/12 to get the reimbursement. That failed too. I called again today. The billing person game me the reason she gave me two or three times before. She says "Your reimbursement is not finalized yet, you just have to wait". Hello? We already moved forward from that at the last phone call. Still waiting.....and wonder how many times it'll take. This really feels like a scam, where they are counting on charging people unnecessarily and then folks don't realize it and then forget and they pocket the money. Then they train their Cust Svc team to act like there's nothing that can be done - wearing you down and hoping you give up. Very unscrupulous.

Today we had a very bad experience with SimonMed Imaging. We had two appointments scheduled at 9:00 AM, but we were never given the address. When they called to schedule the appointments, they said all the information would be sent by text message. However, the text only included the date and time -- no address. When we searched online, we found two SimonMed locations in Encinitas: one on N El Camino Real and another on Saxony Rd, which was very confusing. We tried calling the number that originally contacted us, but it was only an automated system directing us to the website. We decided to go to the N El Camino Real location first, but there was a sign on the door saying "No X-Ray Today." Because of that, we thought the location was closed, so we drove another 3 miles to the Saxony Rd location. By then, we were about 8 minutes late. The lady at the Saxony Rd office was very kind and helpful. After hearing our situation, she called the first location and told us they could still see us if we came back right away. However, when we returned to the first location, the man at check-in showed no understanding or apology. He told us they would only see one person and the second person would need to reschedule for another day. We are very busy, and this situation was not our fault. We wasted a lot of time and effort driving back and forth between two locations because of unclear communication from SimonMed. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, they acted like it was our problem. We decided to cancel both appointments. When we said we wanted to cancel, he even asked, "Are you sure?" Yes, absolutely sure. Poor communication, lack of customer service, and no accountability for the inconvenience they caused.

When I have gone in the past parking has been hard but not on a weekend. I think they are the only office open so you don't have to contend with other patients. Front desk staff was friendly and processed me quick. I didn't have to wait long until they called me back. The tech was friendly and talked me through the process. Unfortunately there was a problem with the machine and after a few tries she called in back up. I had to wait outside while they fixed the imaging machine. It didn't take too long. She finished my imaging and explained my results would be in within a few days. A few days later my results were in. Very easy.

There was only 2 others there. My name was called and I was brought back to an X-ray room. It was explained that 2 of the techs were students but there was a radiologist overseeing them. I didn't care I was happy to finally be getting this dealt with. It's been pretty painful. They positioned me for three different shots and I was done. I love efficiency. I left and a few hours later my results were posted on the portal. I just wish the explanation was in lay person terms. I looked it up and I think I understand but it not really clear. My shoulder hurts and I can't wait until it's explained to me with a solution!
