I know many people have a hard time finding and trusting a mechanic, but may I suggest Precision Tune in Yukon. We have been going there for years, and they have taken care of everything from oil changes to bigger issues. (I believe they will do most auto work except transmission, exhaust, and tires.) They even have a loyalty program where you can get a free oil change after so many paid oil services. They have always been willing to explain repairs so I understand and do not make unneeded repair suggestions. On the rare occasion that they don't get it right the first time, they always work with me to correct it on the second attempt. A year ago, this shop put the wrong part on my car and tried to charge me again to fix their error. I vowed to never come back after that terrible experience. Fallon, whom has always been amazing, convinced me to try this shop again. After going in today, and experiencing the rudest front desk attendant who spoke to me as if I was a child, made me take back my keys and head somewhere else for my oil change. So if you want to be spoken to as if they are doing you a favor by allowing you to get your oil changed, and have them completely botch your brake jobs... This is your shop. read more

Came in for a simple oil change. Car immediately started leaking oil in my driveway once I got home. I see i'm not the first this has happened to recently. I typically do my own maintenance because it's so hard to find reliable service for literally anything. Took car here on the weekend for convenience. I have no time for appointments during the week with a 50 hour schedule. Now I have to take time off Monday to address this, which typically save to visit family or travel. I went to the Yukon location the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend to get my oil changed. I agreed to have my air & cabin filters replaced. A week later my SUV started acting up. I took my SUV to my mechanic & was informed that the hoses to both the throttle body & valve cover was disconnected as well as finding loose screws in the engine area of the SUV. This caused a misfire in cylinder #4. Due to Yukon Precision Auto's negligence, I had to replace all six spark plugs & coil packs, and replace all of the intake manifold gaskets due to the intake having to be removed to access three out the six spark plugs at the rear of the engine, plus I was out the labor for the repair. Pictures were taken of their mistakes as proof. When my mechanic spoke to their mechanic, he basically called him a liar & wanted to start a fight with him. Up until this episode I was happy with their services. NOW, NO!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE!!!! If I could post this review without stars, I most certainly would!!!!!! read more

This place completely took advantage of me. I went in for a simple oil change because they had good reviews and I needed somewhere that could handle a European car. Instead, they overcharged me by $150 and did a terrible job. Shortly after, my car started leaking oil badly. I ended up having to hire a new mechanic, and he confirmed they never changed my oil filter and left the drain plug loose, which caused almost all the oil to leak out. If I hadn't caught it in time, it could've completely ruined my engine. It's clear they saw that I was a woman who might not know much about cars and used that to overcharge and do the bare minimum. This wasn't a mistake -- it was negligence and dishonesty. Do not trust this shop. Especially if you're a woman, be extremely careful -- or better yet, go somewhere else. read more

We used to live in Yukon and still drive there for precision tune. Way better service than other locations or businesses and they truly care. Hyundai told me I needed xyz services and I didn't think anything was wrong so took it to precision tune. Got one thing I asked for fixed but the other had no leak and they didn't want to fix something that wasn't broken. I will continue to take our cars there!! Ok so I don't usually write bad reviews because I like to focus on the positive but... Precision auto tune, they need to step it up big time. My husband took my expedition there to get it checked out because it was running a little funny. They were pretty busy so they told us it would be a little while before they could get it on the lift. That's expected and I didn't mind at all. Well about 2 1/2 hours later we get a call from them and the mechanic tells my husband that a piston is cracked.... They wanted to replace the engine and it would cost us close to $5,000. This engine doesn't even have 100k miles yet. I was so confused on why this would happen the car doesn't get romped on and it's always been taken well care of. It's a one owner suv it was bought brand new. Either way it didn't make sense. I was so hurt and confused that my only means of transportation was now out of commission. We ended up deciding to take the suv home and wait until we could budget the cost to have it fixed. Well one of my husbands army buddies is a mechanic for his civilian job and he offered to take a look at it as a second opinion because to him the diagnosis wasn't adding up either. My husband paid his buddy to tow the suv to his place to check it out and then he would let us know what he could find. Two days later his buddy calls and tells him it's NOT a cracked piston, but it's the fuel injector. So a pretty far stretch from a $5000 new engine plus cost of labor which would have been in the ball park of another $2000 as quoted by precision auto tune. I'm so ecstatic that I don't have to replace my engine and that it's a simple fix that took only a couple days and didn't cost me selling my kidneys on the black market. My final thought though is I will NEVER take another vehicle to Precision Auto Tune, they straight up tried to scam us because we didn't have the proper tools and time to find what the problem was. They tried to take complete advantage of us. I'm so upset that a chain company as that could do that to a customer. If we had the means to fix it at that time we probably would have shoveled out the $5000+. I'm so glad we had a second opinion. read more

Poor Mechanical and Management Experience record set ! Took my truck in for a basic oil change . Nothing more or less. Upon receiving my truck back from the service tech. Asked about the water spewing from the engine bay. Answer: Oh, I made a little oil spill and I cleaned it . No worries, right ? It gets better ! Took my Family around town unbeknownst from store's parking I was like ouch, someone had a nasty little leak?! Well, come to find out. The tech not only gave my engine bay an 0-40 oil bath . He didn't even tighten the oil drain plug that caused oil leaks around town but my 5 hour power washed driveway in conjunction with my trucks undercarriage has been streamlined oil splash art. Thank you very much for the Sloppy, sloppy and inexperienced service you provided!! Awesome!! Furthermore, adding insult too by injury. I returned to mitigate the problem for which low oil loss is obviously from an extremely important aspect of returning to adjust or repair. But Precision Auto isn't done with me yet!! After they said that they torqued the oil drain plug,"smh". I asked the clerk as the floor shop manager didn't even acknowledge my concern/ mild complaint and walked away without taking any initiative of the facts about the oil drain leak or possible damage that could cost them out of pocket expenses , "parts and labor." So now, I'm one on one with the front clerk as she is qualified to tell all their customers about their textbook mechanical concerns. I raised a common sense question about losing oil and replacing it at the right operating oil level ? She stated," Oh that is a little drop and when it touches concrete it expands and makes it look worse then it actually is ." Verbatim , ladies and gentlemen, verbatim ! But instead of topping off the oil . She asked if I wanted cleaner to clean my driveway. And that was the line in the sand for me and I wanted to share this as not only does their tech staff can't install a simple oil plug correctly. But hide behind fact of meeting the customer half way on resolving minor issues that began big concerns as the specs of any vehicle for long drives of possibly breakdown due to improper mechanical practices and experience. Thank you very much Precision Auto for given me the opportunity of this detailed negative experience . As I've look upon your review history. 2019 was a good year. I was able to just walk in and they got my car all fixed took about 3 hrs but I cannot complain because they got it all taken care of! The pricing was not to bad for what needed to be done! They called me and made sure I approved all of the repairs that needed to be done. 3 days later they gave me a call to make sure my car was still running good and the problem was fixed! Traveling from Santa Fe, NM to Tulsa OK to attend a funeral, my car breaks down outside Oklahoma City. AAA sent a tow truck from the Yukon area and the gentleman took be to a place where not only could I get my car fixed but rent a car as well. My car is old and I've had it to the Chrysler dealership many times but no one ever asked about checking my timing belt. Well not only did it go but four of the valves had to be replaced. I cannot say enough about the team at Precision Tune there in Yukon. Their honesty, integrity and genuine concern for me and my situation was above repose. I'm not much of a car person but I knew what had happen and I cannot say enough about how I was treated. I highly recommend these folks and wish them all the best. So I go in the first time to get my brakes fixed which cost way more than expected because they were more damaged than I thought. I was visibly upset by the price because it was $750 when I was expecting to spend maybe $200, and the person I was talking to even offered a split payment because it was so obvious I was upset by the price. But I agreed to pay in full to just get it over with and because I knew I'd probably really had damaged the breaks themselves and not just the break pads. Fine. Good. Well I also asked for a quote on how much it would cost to fix my inside door handle because it stopped working. The guy who was working on my car told me they didn't have the part but could order it, and if I just came in randomly it'd be about $120, but if I called ahead so they had time to order it then it would only be $60. I'd been dealing with my door being broken for a while now because the last place I was at quoted me around $300 to fix it, so I was excited it cost so little and agreed and set up an appointment to come in next Thursday, a week away. I told them I thought it was incredible it only cost $60 because of my last quote, and the Thursday appointment was agreed to because the part should only take 2-3 days to get in. Well. Even though I thought I'd set up an appointment and arrived at the time we agreed on that next Thursday, it turns out they didn't have the part yet and didn't even bother calling me to let me know. It wasn't until after I turned in my keys and left that I got called and told they didn't have the part and it was going to take 2-3 more days to come in. I was annoyed, but the front desk worker was a new girl and had been clearly struggling during this visit and the last so it washed past me pretty quick. I decided to come back in the next Thursday because I have them off and was working that weekend and didn't bother setting up another appoint for it because the girl didn't ask and it didn't seem to actually matter, especially because the previous two times I talked to anyone else no one offered appointments and it just didn't seem like a big deal to them. Which is fine, they were always working on something when I came in, but it didn't seem they were so busy that if I didn't schedule something that I'd be there for hours. However, the next Monday I realized I'd missed a call from them on Friday and reached back out and spoke to one of the guys who worked on the cars. He was reaching out to confirm which door and which side of the door was needing repair, because they still hadn't ordered the part yet. When I mentioned I'd been told it would be in over the weekend, not even bringing up that I was told t would be in before last Thursday, he told me it was because I spoke to the new girl. Still, I wasn't too bothered by this because I had other things to worry about and things just happen. Whatever. It was going to be in before I planned on coming in anyway so it was fine. Thursday comes around and I get my car in, a different woman who'd obviously been working there longer was manning it and recognized me and it made me feel better. The part was in and they managed to get the repair done in half an hour when they'd originally thought it was going to take an hour which was very nice. But then I get to the counter and I'm told the total is $200. I asked and it turns out the part itself was $60 while the labor and tools cost $130, and with tax it came out to $200. Which is 4 times the amount I was lead to believe it would be when I asked 2 weeks ago. When I asked for that quote, the only number I was given was the $60 amount, and I was talking about it like it was the total. They knew I thought it was only going to be $60, and let me believe that until they charged me $200 AFTER they already performed the service, knowing I'd just been in 2 weeks ago and was losing my mind about having to pay $750 for something else. And this wasn't even a mess up by the new girl, but by the guy working on my car who was a regular employee. I wound up paying the amount because I was too shocked at the price difference to think, but I am absolutely livid about this now. I don't think I'm ever going back to them because I feel like I was genuinely scammed out of money, and am questioning the validity of the repairs of my first visit and the charge of $750. Genuinely wish I had just gotten the repairs done by the dealership that quoted me $300. It would have cost more but at least I wouldn't have been lied to like that. read more
