Precision Tune Auto Care - Overcharges - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Stopped in for an oil change this morning. The receptionist was really friendly and the staff worked fast. They are a little bit pricer than some other places in the area but I feel like they do a good job for the money. read more

Wonderful, friendly and professional service!! We will be coming back to see Lois and the team at Precision Auto on May! They helped with my car first, and then when my mother came to pick me up, they heard her car making a strange sound, and offered to get her car in right away. My mother had asked 3-4 different places trying to find the source of that noise and Dan found in within 10 minutes! read more

Don't know why I never looked into this place sooner. They did a great job and got what I needed done very quickly. From Lois at the counter to the mechanic I spoke with, their customer service was top notch. read more

I cannot brag on this business enough!! My car broke down and I had it towed to this shop to have a diagnostic check ran on it. They informed me that it was a transmission issue and although they don't work on transmissions, they chose not to charge me for the diagnostic and they gave me recommendations on where to take it. I also struggled to find a tow company so they let me keep my car there until I was able to find somebody. Absolutely love the hospitality! read more

Had an 8am appointment for an oil change and to check my brakes. The guy at the front desk seemed friendly, and the manager took time to explain to my husband some details about changing the brakes, brake pads, etc. The prices didn't seem too unreasonable - $30 for an oil change, a couple hundred to replace my brakes. There are a decent number of seats in the waiting area, as well as free coffee. I don't know much about cars, but it took around 2.5 hours for everything, which seemed to be a little long in my opinion, since I had one of the earliest appointment slots of the morning. However, overall, I would go back to this location. read more

Truly it doesn't even deserves a star. So, rude man. I didn't have the information on the car I was wanting to change the oil, I proceed to try to make a phone call and he says I don't got time for your calls. Then attendant proceeded to ask several questions with an attitude. I decided to walk out. I'm sorry you having a bad day, Mr. Rudeness on two feet. You should look for a job that makes you happy. Lois (the lady at the desk) is Fantastic!!! I hope they pay her good because she is the face of a very well run company! I always appreciate her friendly, honest efficiency! AND my car is fixed right! Thank you guys!!! read more

USED to go here every 3000 miles for an oil change.....went in for AC diagnostic and waled out with an EIGHTEEN HUNDRED DOLLAR ESTIMATE.......went to another shop on here I have reviewed, and to REPLACE the condenser, which only had a bearing out but I went ahead and bought a new compressor........labor was 240 plus the compressor.....way less, and I went in twice to doublecheck the estimate.... Never will go back to them for anything at all. Whether it was a new "kid" or what, he skipped the diagnosis and went straight to replacing the whole system! NO EXCUSE just outright robbery And my last oil change I came out with a new leak....my driveway can vouch for that read more

The manager at the Broadway & 33rd location, Michael, is always friendly, very knowledgable, has great customer service etiquette, is professional, and my oil change is usually done within 45 minutes. He tells me what is wrong with my car, how much it will cost in writing, and whether or not it's urgent to get done. The prices have definitely increased over the last couple of years and they are no longer open on the weekends, but they are still usually cheaper or the same price as other oil change places. read more

Wonderful service!!!!! As as young woman I dread taking my car in for maintenance. I took my car in the same day without making an appointment. The gentleman at the front desk was honest & polite. They got me in the same day & finished all four break & rotors in a timely manner for a reasonable price. Definitely will be going back & recommend to friend's, family and girlfriends. read more

Went in to have them figure out what was wrong with my AC. They told me my compressor was out and needed 4 different things replaced for a total of $1500. Turns out it wasn't the compressor at all, it was the clutch. A piece I got on amazing of $50! Don't trust these guys. My uncle looked at my car and instantly knew it wasn't the compressor. Either they are scammers or they don't know what they are doing, either way, I won't be back. read more

I literally just walk in, up to the counter and not only did they know who I am but already had everything ready for me to sign. This is customer service. They have always taken great care of all my vehicles. read more

This shop has been my go-to oil change place for 4 years. Brent and his team were personable and professional. New manager and a totally different place now. My last oil change in April was $34, up from $29. Today it was $45!!! $11 more? Poor people skills and steady increases amounts to gouging. The new manager is an accomplished liar. I have listened to his customer interactions on 3 visits there now. People do business with those who they like and trust. Also, they decided to be closed on Saturdays... when everyone is off work to get automotive needs handled. Closed on what probably is the busiest Automotive service day of the week. Great plan! Lost my business read more

This is my go to place for anything car related. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they're pretty quick. They are willing to answer your questions and helpful. I usually get my oil changes here as well. I would recommend giving this location a shot! read more

I love how #precisiontune gets you in and out. I saved $3 from the yelp coupon once I checked in. I also had a mail in coupon for $19 wiper blades. I did price them at AutoZone but why make another trip when they can do the oil change, top my fluids and check my tire pressure and change my blades all in one stop?. They also have free wifi. I needed to charge my phone and found it convenient that there was a free charging station. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived because it didn't charge my phone. Only the I phone portal worked. Dang you I phone users. Lol joking. I enjoyed a hot cup of coffee on this snowy Saturday. read more

I have been to this location several times in the last year or two, never fail to impress me with pricing and speed of service. I usually do my own car work, but when I don't, I will always take it here. read more

Stopped by during a cross country drive to get an oil change and tires rotated. The staff were extremely nice but it took pretty long to get our car serviced - wish they gave us an estimate of how long it would take considering they knew we were just stopping over and weren't from there. Still, very nice people and my car is good to go :) read more

Went in for a simple oil change. They set my engine on fire. They said it's a regular occurrence. Won't come back.

Seriously amazing. In and out in 30 minutes. Great prices, great customer service, and very clean. I'll be returning for my next oil change.

I've been coming here for 20 years for my oil changes and most repairs. Their prices are so much cheaper than Firestone! I have been especially impressed with Brent Hill and his customer service and expertise. read more

I've been before and been frustrated by service times. Went again this week with few patrons in the waiting room. They were fast, efficient, and kind. Cokes and coffee to your hearts content. Maybe their big issue is that once they don't have enough workers to get through the job in a reasonable time, they understate their wait times to customers to make them stay. Get this figured out guys and you will become my go to shop. So, for now... just don't go when there are a lot of cars in the parking lot. read more

These folks need to pay more attention to detail. They have stripped the threads in my oil pan, overtightened the lugs on my wheels, and overfilled the oil in my wife's car by two quarts. I still havent figured out what they put in my radiator on the last flush. This isnt like the Precision Auto that I once knew. read more

I'm from Alabama home of southern hospitality but this place puts my whole state to shame!!! They were very helpful on what I needed and what they can do to get my problems fixed! They didn't hassle me into getting extras like the majority of places I've been in the past and they even offered me a cold drink or hot coffee! If you're from out of state or here locally I'd advise you to come to this location immediately for all your car needs!!! read more

Good honest service. Very affordable for a semi synthetic $22 semi synthetic on a 6 cylinder...Give places like this your business. Took my girlfiends car in for an oil change and they noticed immediately a bad air filter. It was horrible. She has been taking this to Hibdons for the last several and they never even looked or suggested. I will be returning. read more

Have been to this location a long time but service has went down My daughter went for a oil change and they charged her for going over 5 quarts when she got home I checked it and IT WAS A QUART LOW the time before that she got a oil change and they got oil all inside her car fed up told them they lost 3 cars will find somewhere else to go. read more

I've been going to these guys since they opened. I loved the reasonable prices and quick service. They went through some staffing changes a year ago and while the new manager is great to deal with, the rest of the staff is mediocre at best. I just sat in the waiting room at 3PM on a weekday for an hour. No one had touched my car for a hour. I left and went to Valvoline. read more

I went in today over my lunch break for a quick oil change. I called in advance to see how busy they were and how busy they thought they would be over a lunch hour. The guy who answered was polite and let me know that it shouldn't be much of a wait if any if I got there before noon. I got there a little before noon and he was right, no wait. They got my car right in. The guy who took my keys told me it would be about 20 minutes, it was more in the 30-40 minute range, but I have no complaints b/c things got busier and some people who had dropped cars off came in to pick up and they apparently needed some explanations, no problem. However, while I was there a girl came in with an issue and a warning light on her car. I heard her ask the guy at the desk if they could check what the light meant and they told her to check out the light would be $75. She specifically asked if there were any other options and they told her NO. This is where I had to say something. I let her know she could run to an autozone, o'reilly's or some other place like that (there also happens to be one maybe a block south in the same parking lot as Sprouts) and they could check the light for free. I was then cut off by someone sitting in the back who I hadn't seen in the entire 20 mins I'd been there (manager, maybe??) who let us know that a shop like that can't really tell her what the issue is. There was a bit of a back and forth between this gentleman and myself that I won't go into. But long story short, I will not be going back. I don't have an issue with the way this gentleman spoke to me, but I do have a problem with them not informing their potential customers and I'm concerned this could be indicative of a larger problem. Update 6 hours later: Just received a call from a manager (not sure if he was the original employee, the interrupting employee or just another employee) at this location (who shall remain nameless). He wanted to discuss the misconception from earlier. I pointed out that I thought they were doing their customers a disservice by not giving them all the info to make an educated decision. He said that I interrupted him and he did not get to finish providing all the info about their diagnostic test. Okay, i can give him that. Again, i can spare the details of the convo, but the convo has given me to courage to go ahead and change my star rating from a 2 to a 1. Several people have given very good reviews for the shop, so I'm hoping I just caught one person on a bad day (we all have them), but I will not be returning. Update the next day: I just received a very polite call from the owner. He apologized for the situation yesterday, thanked me for my review and asked what he could do to keep my service. Bumped it back to 2 stars, but I will not be returning. And now that I have officially written the longest, most bi-polar review ever I am calling it quits, I mean it. read more

I love this Precision Tune location. I've been taking my cars there for oil changes for the past year and have never had a bad experience. The front desk person is always very nice and I've never had to wait more than 45 minutes for an oil change. They are honest and don't try any of that sketchy stuff that I've seen at other places (like the ones that tell EVERY customer their air filter needs changed just so they can tack on an extra $15 charge). I've had nothing but great service from them and they will continue to be my go-to place for car service. read more

My wife took our SUV that is less than a year old in for an oil change.Service is fast,But they stripped my oil pan drain bolt. The Lube Techs dont even have any tools to speak of. But most of all, They left greasy, oily hand prints all over the doors and steering wheel getting in and out and trying to sell me an air filter. Not going back as I'm going to Valvoline. At least their oil comes from a quart bottle not a 55 gallon barrel that you dont know whats in it for sure.SUCKS! read more

Went in and Darwin the manager, LOL, was busy standing behind the desk and watching the ball game. My inspection took forever (over 15 min.) to tell me they stripped my oil drain bolt out. Darwin or Darwood whatever his name thought that was funny when talking to his crew in the garage about my car. I left with the oil 2 quarts low. Yeah, I checked it. and you should too if your taking your truck or car here. read more
