Service was not performed as requested; instead, they proceeded to create a debate: They already KNEW what was wrong without even performing the requested service and inspecting the car, and so therefore, didn't need to inspect it. And all this, less than 15 minutes into the appointment. Condescending and belittling, the "expert" staff proceeded to tell me that I must be mistaken about the car issue because they just KNEW nothing was wrong, once again, without having even performed the scheduled inspection. I thought my battery was dead and my neighbor helped me jump start it. However, it died again, and Firestone diagnosed it to be the alternator. They referred a great towing company to get my Kia Soul to their shop and it was delivered to them within 90 minutes from where it died on me. The service men and manager at this location worked with me and were very respectful and nice in the process. They explained all that was needed and the cost up front. I decided to get an oil change and have my brakes checked at the same time. I would HIGHLY recommend this location to everyone. I have been taking my cars to Firestone for years and it's always been a great experience, as it was this time again. The timing belt on my car broke while I was driving and I had the car towed to this location for an inspection / repair. The engine had the typical damage associated with a broken timing belt, including a destroyed water pump and bent valves. The service manager Joe and Dual gave me a reasonable price for replacement of the time belt, water pump, and valve replacement. The initial timing belt install and head job took only a couple of days, but there were some issues with the timing of the valves so the car had to be returned to the shop 3 times before final acceptance. Each time I had to return the car, Joe was very courteous and addressed each concern, and eventually got the car to the original working order. Overall, I had a great experience with this location, and I would return here to have repairs done in the future. Honest, kind mechanics with good service who stand by their work. read more

The service was excellent today and with an appointment the wait time was right on track, a little bit over an hour for an oil change and tire rotation. I had to wait on my vehicle, they turned off the Wi-Fi, they took away the coffee and the water? bottled by the way. The furniture at this particular location is extremely ratty, torn, and looks like it's been through the ringer. If you're going to utilize this particular location I recommend you drop off your car because it is not a comfortable waiting environment for customers. Again the customer service the ability to use the coupons and the timeliness are all exceptional however if you're having to wait in the waiting area it is not and that should also be considered as part of the experience. read more

I was having AC issues and went to get it checked out hoping it was an easy fix. They told me my AC fuse was bad and they have to replace the entire power distribution center for $2500 plus labors.. they recommended another place that could potentially "bypass" and replace the only (one) bad fuse for me. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I just moved to OKC a few months ago. My first oil change was at a place down the block recommended to me by a buddy. Apparently they had tightened something too much and not tightened something else enough so I had a slow, not terrible, oil leak. Nothing to write home (or Yelp) about. Just a minor inconvenience and a little stressful not knowing why.... But enough to try other places. Next I went to Bob Howard Nissan. I waited 3 hours for an oil change and it cost me almost $100. Straight up fuck that place for real. I'll never go back there. I may never speak to anyone named Bob or Howard ever again, if I'm being honest. That's how shitty that place is. Then I came here for brakes. The recommendations made seemed fair. It wasn't, "everything needs to be replaced!" It was a very calculated and reasonable evaluation. I expressed my concern with the price and Dual, the rep, made some suggestions to save me over $100 & get me out the door quickly, and without making me feel like I'd been robbed or disrespected. I was tild it would take an hour and a half and asked if I wanted to wait. I said I was going to go and left. In about an hour and a half I got a phone call saying my car was done. I have been bringing my car to the Firestone on McArthur for tires, oil changes and car maintenance for several years now. The staff is friendly and they have always provided great service. They are also open all weekend, which helped out tremendously when my son's car had a tire blow out on a Sunday. I purchased some new tires online for my dad because he is on fixed disability income and had them shipped to Firestone on N MacArthur. They installed the tires and my dad was happy until he went out found one of the brand new tires was completely flat. We had it towed back to firestone and they said it was a valve stem failure and he had to purchase a new tire. The valve stem came from Firestone and was installed by them and they did not want to do anything about it. No tire replacement, discount on a new tire, nothing. We are both very disappointed in firestone and will not be using them for anything in the future. Discount Tire will be getting all of our business and I will recommend everyone else do the same. I cannot brag on this Firestone location enough. I was having problems with my air conditioner. At first, the service advisor quoted me around $50 for a diagnostic test. They took my car right back and 45 minutes later, I was done and out of there. They couldn't get to my motor blower to replace it because it's in the dash, and it has to be replaced at the dealership. They explained this to me and didn't charge me anything. Most importantly, THEY WERE HONEST. They didn't make something up just for money. That's all that mattered to me. Great service! I did my homework and this particular Firestone had a great reputation from what I saw. I am a huge car enthusiast and love attention to detail. Not only did I receive that, but I received common courtesy and a knowledgeable staff! Also for you people with lowered cars, this is one of the few locations that has a in ground lift! Which means you can take most lowered cars to have it aligned here! I am extremely happy and my experience was very great! read more
