Review for Meineke Car Care Center Location: 2608 E 2nd St,…read moreEdmond, OK 73034 Rating: I am writing this to warn others about the consistent lack of service at this Meineke location. I recently stopped in for a simple oil change and was turned away with the excuse that "everyone was on break." What made this particularly frustrating was that the store was completely empty--I was the only customer there. Instead of being helped, I was told I could reschedule for another time. This wasn't an isolated incident; this has happened to me several times now at this specific branch. There is a glaring lack of basic customer service and a complete void of work ethic among the staff. If a shop can't manage to perform a routine oil change when the lobby is empty, they clearly aren't interested in doing the work. I strongly advise everyone to take their business elsewhere. There are plenty of other shops in Edmond that actually value their customers' time.

He looked at my car and we then had an honest and straight-forward conversation about what he found. The fix was going to be a complex one and rather than forging ahead with what could have been a profitable bill for him, he encouraged me to take the car to the dealer since they would have more experience with this particular issue. Even more surprising was how he didn't charge me for the time he spent evaluating the vehicle! It was so refreshing to have that kind of honest and straight-forward feedback! Kudos, Homer!
