I got a full set of tires from here a year or two ago. Recently, I somehow got a comically gigantic nail in my tire. Luckily, I had paid for warranty on all four tires! The nail came out while I was on the way up there and had to pull over on the highway because my tire got dead flat, and I was only like 3 miles away (so close)! Have been a Discount Tire customer for a few years. I really appreciate the ability to order tires (online) and schedule an appointment. However, appointment check-in needs to be improved. When I arrived (Sat morning) 15-minutes in advance of my appointment the line was almost out the door. Add the number of customer phone calls being taken by the three red shirts and the trips outside with customers, I wasn't able to check-in for my appointment until 10-minutes AFTER my appointment time. I had them get my old wheels boxed up in some wheel boxes they found, since they threw mine away, and I opened the boxes to package them up to sell to someone and I noticed one of my center caps wasn't even in the box. I also noticed a different tire with a slow leak... the sensor didn't catch it till it was too late. I got it inflated and came back the next day first thing in the morning. They found the screw I caught. It was removed snd patched. Also, I had them check all the other tires just to be safe. They also reset the sensor in the car, which resolved that issue... best of all, they explained how the sensor tripped in the first place. No charge! I was in and out quickly! I was informed that for a simple fix like this, there was no charge. They're fast, kind, friendly, informative, and didn't once try to up-sell me on anything! As I sit here in the lobby proudly writing this long overdo review, its amazing watching the Discount Tire Team work in unision, effectively and efficietly doing their craft. Out of curiosity I just asked how many vehicles had been serviced this Satuday morning from opening to 11:00. 41 vehicles!!!! And another gentlemen, named Paul, said yesterday it was 100 vehicles!!!! As the saying goes the proof is in the pudding. Here the pudding is tires backed up with a lifetime wareanty I am not aware of any exclusions to their lifetime tire warranty. Addmitely, I have used it 4 times in the past 30 days. That's 4 brand new tires that I did not have to pay for. Gashes on the sidewall, blowouts, slow leeks, nails-no problem. All were warrantied out at no cost to me. Like a well oiled machined they have once more put a new tire on and I'm barely had time to write this review. Keep in mind they have had 41 vehicles in too. Impressive. If your looking for a quality tire that you can get a lifetime warranty head to Discount Tire and you will be greeted by best in the business. Not a fan. We took my van in because one of the tires has a slow leak (losing 4PSI over a 10 day period). Just needed a quick plug and patch. We were told the hole was too large to fix and we would need to replace the tire (it's a rear one). We were also told that our front tires needed to be replaced because they were worn down and not safe to drive. Our issues: (1) this is the first leak on this tire. A hole that is too large to be fixed would leak more than 4PSI over a 10 day period. Maybe if we were shown a hole larger than 1/4" in diameter, we would have conceded to a replacement. (2) we have 24,000 miles on the tires and the wear is consistent. The tires are at a 5 - We have plenty of mileage left. Sure, there is a possibility that they were right, but there wasn't any elaboration or education (show us where you say the tires are worn down, show us a hole) which makes the service questionable, at best. read more

Picked up a screw in the center tread of the tire so I knew it would be an easy repair one you could reasonably take care of yourself but I just didn't want to mess with it. Wednesday after the 4th of July. I go on Discount Tire website, find my store and click on "Get in Line" which I do. I plan to arrive before the store opens at 8:00 am. I get a text message to my phone that I'm in line and a link/button to let them know when I'm at the store. I pull up 10 min before opening and there are three folks already outside the door waiting to get in. The bays are open and employees and preparing to open. 8:00 am on the button they unlock the door and we all pour in. There are 4 reps checking in customers - I get Tyler. I tell him I "got in line" in the app. He says Yes, I saw you what can we help with. I tell him he keys it in and then says let me take a look. Comes back in and says "ok, looks to be a pretty easy fix". 25 min later Grayson, standing by the entrance door, calls my name your truck is ready. I walk up he hand me a Discount Tire trifold with a slip inside "your all set" I say how much....."nothing - your good to go". Wow. This is very smart business which you cannot easily teach. Exceptional customer service, and while I watched the operation - no one was messing around, everyone was working pretty hard (shocking I know). I really like Discount Tire. We've been taking our cars there for 3-4 years now and have always been very pleased with the service provided. The employees have always been friendly, professional and patient. I had a very bad experience at Hibdon Tire which led me to Discount Tire. Typically businesses with the word "discount" in them make me think of an inferior product, but that really isn't the case here. Tire pricing is very competitive. Sure you can probably get slightly cheaper tires online, but then you still have to ship them and have them mounted/balanced by a local shop. In the end, I find it cheaper and easier to just get them locally. Discount Tire also offers free rotations, patches and inflation on any tires you've purchased there. Unofficially they go so far as to repair & rotate tires that I haven't even purchased there for free! I would definitely recommend Discount Tire to any of my friends or family who are in the market. read more
