A 2017 outback, of my wife's. She's picky, Jayson did all the fluids, belts and spark plugs. She's picky but very pleased. My granddaughter has a 2005 accord hybrid, we changed the brakes,rotors, calipers and hoses ourselves. The right front brake was making a noise, Jayson to the rescue. Fixed it easily with a different brand of pads. No noise since. My daughter's 2018 Malibu burnt the AC up. Jayson changed it, and some more maintenance items that had been neglected. Car runs fantastic now, mileage is back where it needs to be and we got councilled on appropriate mileage for maintenance. We did not authorize or request any repairs. When we dropped the truck off, it ran great aside from one specific issue with shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. We simply wanted to find out what was causing that issue. Instead, we got the truck back in WORSE condition than when we dropped it off! What is even more upsetting is how Christian Brothers has handled the situation since. They have shown no willingness to help resolve the additional problems we're now dealing with. We trusted them to diagnose an existing issue, and instead, we're left with a truck that has more problems than it did before they touched it. And to make matters worse, they couldn't even properly gap the spark plugs! I completely understand that my son's truck is older. However, the age of a vehicle should NEVER be used as an excuse to dismiss a customer's concerns or justify returning a vehicle in worse condition than it arrived. My son brought his truck to what we believed was a reputable automotive shop for a simple diagnostic. The way he has been treated and the lack of accountability throughout this situation are absolutely unacceptable. We did not bring this truck in to have additional problems created. We brought it in to find out what was wrong with it! I am extremely disappointed in Christian Brothers Automotive, both in the condition the truck was returned to us and in how they have handled our concerns afterward. They then called at the exact time saying it would take another 45 minutes and I had a lot of other issues, great, super. So when I came to pick up, the ac service was not fully recharged or filled because they "were out of time." And I still had to pay over 200 dollars of labor.
