I purchased a set of tires from Discount Tire and was told they were covered under a warranty. After only 7,000 miles of normal use, I returned because of concerns about the tires. I was told they were not covered because the tread had fallen below 3/32--a condition that was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase. Had I known about this important limitation, I would have made a different purchasing decision. Denying coverage under these circumstances feels misleading and unfair. They knocked my tire sensor loose when I got new front tires. Spent $560. Went to my mechanic and he told me to go back and they should fix for free. I also told them the tire pressure light was on before i ever left the parking lot and they said it would go off eventually but that's not how my car works. So I go back and they lied and said every single tire sensor was bad and tried to sell me tire sensors. I left and went back to my mechanic who fixed the sensor they knocked loose. He said my sensors were fine. It seems like they get bonus or something if they sell stuff. I've been going here for years but won't anymore. read more

This store has their act together! I came in with my own TPMS sensors and asked for them to be installed. They gave me an estimated completion time and had the job finished approximately 30 minutes sooner than expected even though they seemed to be really busy with cars being worked on in all of their bays. The organization was impressive and the techs that worked on my truck actually used a torque wrench to properly tighten all of the wheel lug nuts. Overall experience was okay. I had to go back in to get my sensors fixed after my tires were changed. That's where I saw their associate Elliott arguing with a customer and telling the customer he didn't know what he was talking about. I was uncomfortable with how aggressively he was speaking to the customer. After that customer just left because Elliot was so unhelpful and rude. Another guy helped me and he was great but as we were finishing up. Elliott decided that would be the best time to start arguing with his co worker that was helping me. The unprofessional of this guy is out of hand. No one should be treated like that especially for just trying to shop at your store. read more

I'd like to thank Hibdon for allowing me to schedule my oil change right from their website - especially letting me book a 5:30 appointment, only to get a call telling me that they don't take oil changes after 4:00.... So 4:00 it was! I arrived at 3:50 in the hopes that they might be able to get me in a little early and I'd be able to beat the 5:00 traffic home! I got a great look at their waiting room while 4 technicians stood around talking in the repair bay and another guy sat in the back office enjoying a bag of chips. I guess they wrapped up their chin wag session so the guy wandered in and asked me what I needed. I let him know I was there for my 4:00 appointment, only to be told that he didn't show an appointment for me (awesome). After I name dropped the guy who called me right after booking online, I was told to have a seat. Ions of the great things about sitting in the waiting area for an extended time was that it gave me a chance to count the number of empty repair bays (there were 6 out of 8). I also counted three technicians with two putting tires on the same car (what teamwork!) The hour that I got to sit alone in the waiting area also gave me time to clean up the unused apps on my iPhone, practice my virtual golf swing, clean out my spam and deleted email folders, plant a field of corn and harvest it, and learn a second language. At just a little after 5:00 I watched a guy walk out and get in my car, and by the ripe hour of 6:00 I was rolling out of Hibdon for what I can assure you will be the absolute LAST time. read more

I am finally the first car and the guy just left and no one has come back to help me. At one point there was only 1 car in their bay but no one could come check my tire pressure and help me??? This is beyond terrible service. The car behind me just pulled out and left after having to wait so long without anyone helping us. And another car behind me just gave up and left as well. Do not go here unless you're looking to wait 30m-1h before someone helps you and get ripped off. I came in with a nail and waited a long time because they try to sell every single customer the 4-set of tires, and I mean every single customer. They try to sell you with a little gadget and a chart even if you're just looking to get a patch, taking ridiculous amounts of time. I had previously bought the whole 4-set two times, and sets of 2 most recently spending thousands already over the years and had always paid extra for the paid warranty. Only needing a patch once before which was covered under the extra fee and apparently the tire that got put on at that time no longer had the paid warranty, NO ONE MENTIONING IT TO ME AT THE TIME. Dude told me I had two nails, never saw the second nail. Went on to tell me the Pereli tire I had the "nails" on, didn't have paid warranty, as if that was the only Pereli tire I had ever purchased. Didn't even care to search further and it didn't matter every single other tire had it but one and it didn't matter I had spent so much here already. Went from a possible 30 dollar warranty fee for the new tire to 200 fucking dollars for a whole new tire because buddy couldn't make a sale on me chose to fuck me over. As if that wasn't enough, apparently my lug nuts were expanded and needed new ones trying to charge me another 109 hahahahaha I told them it was ridiculous at that point and would pay 50 max which to my surprise they accepted. Making you wonder how cheap they truly are if they can go that low from the original price. I will try to take my business elsewhere and you should too. The local tire shop would've patched it for 12 dollars and if you needed to replace the tire it would've probably been half the price. Which is what I should have done to begin with. This is a story of how a nail cost me 250 plus tax here and close to 2 1/2 hours. I had my daughters with me and needed to head to work immediately so didn't have much of a choice, definitely won't be going here again. read more

I am a huge Discount Tire fan and until today a lifetime customer. I came in for a low tire and need to have it checked/fixed. There were two people working the front counter. One was helping customers. The other was chatting with a customer about her vehicle and previous tire choices. (She had purchased new tires and then proceeded to chat for awhile.). There were four customers in line. After 15 minutes of waiting to be greeted, I had to leave. I was finally told it would be at least an hour before my truck could be evaluated. If there aren't multiple customers in line, chatting is fine. If there are multiple people waiting, clear the line and then chat. Customer service should be a priority and at this location, it's clearly not. read more

Good, better prices than anywhere in town, Hib is the worst place and wanted to charge $50 extra per tire vs this place. They're nice too. The one in Norman is also good. Ask for different prices after they wrote you the first one. They're probably told to quote a certain tire or price. Ask about a cheaper one w the tire mileage you want, they have lots of choices. Mikey is the best guy ever, I usually never write any reviews but EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE FROM MIKEY. I had to come in to replace two tires because of some side bubbles. I called because I was concerned and didn't realize they closed in 20 mins. But Mikey said safety was HIS NUMBER ONE CONCERN and said I can come. I showed up about 5 mins before they closed and was super apologetic but Mikey or his staff didn't seem upset at all. After having the tires on the car a few days I came to notice a vibration in the front end. Took the tires in to have the front balance checked and they hadnt been balanced at all, also the back tire had 60 psi in it max rated for 44 psi so the backs probably need to be checked out completely as well now. I originally came in for two fronts the shop put them on the back removing the back two which the guy up front had asked three times which tires I wanted replaced and even marked it on the receipt, front, however the guys in the shop screwed up. So the guy up front put two new ones on the front since they messed up in the shop, who all was involved with not balancing my tires and over inflating another put me and my girlfriend at risk and anyone else on the road, had we had a blowout or something because of the over inflated tire and caused a pile up on the 2hr drive home from discount tire. All this because of a mistake by the workers of discount tire , not me, not my girlfriend, but these workers, and then they have the pettiness to put our lives at risk over their own mistakes because they put the tires on the wrong end of the car to begin with. I even thanked them and commended them for getting me back on the road and for the tires since they could've remounted my old ones and rotated the tires, I was even willing to pay for part of the cost.
