Some times of the year they are a little busy so it's worth calling a few weeks out and scheduling your service ahead of time, but they are extremely flexible and willing to work with anyone. Trusted them for a long time. Recently brought my car in for a leak, spark plugs, and tire rotation. When I drove away the car was wobbling so I brought it back- turns out it was no fault of theirs, the rim was previously bent and the tire rotation just accentuated it. They fixed my rim for free even though it wasn't their issue! read more

I want to start with Tony is wonderful!! I brought my car up there thinking i was going to be getting my wheel baring fixed... unfortunately that wasn't the case my car was unfixable the way the damage was to the car couldn't be fix. So when he called me to give me the bag news he was so nice I could tell he didn't want to have to give me such crap news.. he told me to take my time getting it towed out of there.. so 8 days later I still hadn't picked it up he calls and asks if I've figured anything out about the car I was struggling with finding someone to tow it and someone to give me a ride to get all my belongings and car seats out of the car...he said ok no problem take a couple more days if you need to.. now 10 days after I dropped it off I gave every thing figured out! so I called him I Apologize that it took so long for me to figure it out he said no biggie at all and then said sorry again to me about my car being basically totaled... then he asks if I was going to be buying another car I said unfortunately yes now I have to buy one.. he said hey I tell you what next time drive the car up to me and let me look at it before you buy it! Free of charge!!! Or call me and talk to me and ask questions before buying another car! I don't want you to have any more problems!! He didn't charge me for my car staying there 10 days! And he offered free future help!! He will always be who I go to from here on out!! My cousin Chelsey has been going to him for 5 years and she referred me! So he now has two lifers! PRECISION TUNE IN NEW HOPE MN is a great place! I initially took my car to a Honest-1(don't let the name fool you) who tried to rip me off with scare tactics to pay for unnecessary & overpriced services. So when I arrived to Precision Tune, it was a like a breathe of fresh air. The mechanic I worked with was Mike. He explained that my car problem was my tie rod ends and even showed me the problem. Mike was very patience, understanding, and friendly. The price to fix the tie rod ends was reasonable as well, $320.00 to fix both sides. oh and it was done in just one hour. I'll definitely take my car here from now one. AND in case you are curious Honest-1 was going to charge over $500 for the same services and added on additional services that I didn't need that made my total go up to nearly $1200. Um yep! Building and establishing a rapport with one you trust and respect is crucial to my returning. I NEVER write reviews. Ever. But I had to after having my car serviced here. This was by far the best car experience I have ever had. Mark (the owner) was very friendly from the moment I entered the building. I asked for an estimate before I went in and they told me the most expensive thing that it could be. I went in with that number in my mind and, of course, I figured it would be more as most places up charge. It wasn't! It's was exactly what they said and I didn't have to pay a cent more. Mark talked with me the whole time I waited for my car to be fixed and didn't try to sell me anything other than what was wrong with my car. Which never happens. I usually get told I have numerous other things wrong, but nope not this time. Overall, I was super happy with the experience and I will for sure be going back in the future for any more of my car needs! Highly recommend this place!!! read more

Mark and his staff are second to none! Mark is the most honest, trustworthy, and downright GOOD man that I have ever met in the automotive industry. I have known Mark for a few years now, and he is just a fantastic and caring business owner. IMPORTANT: When you pull into the parking lot of this shop, you have to make sure you walk into the Precision Tune side of the building, and don't accidentally walk into the other (west) side of the building, as they are an automotive shop of a different kind, but they WILL allow you to think you're in the right place and take your business from Mark if you walk in... Mark's staff has always been wonderful to me, and I have never had any complaints about them, I have never had any problems with them trying to UP-sell me on anything, and they have always taken extra time to explain things to me while I am there. I do know that Mark has had a few employees that ended up being let go in the past, with good reason, but thankfully Mark has a habit of paying CLOSE attention to the skills, work habits, and customer service abilities of his new employees, and he doesn't let them stay for very long when they don't uphold his HIGH expectations of how they care for his customers. And if something went wrong with a customer due to one of those ex-employees, Mark works extra hard to make it right with the customer and ensure that they know that HIS shop will always take great care of them. I trust Mark and his staff with ANY question that I have about my vehicles. It's all about the owner, manager, and staff of the specific location you visit when it's a franchise. I can say that THIS one is FANTASTIC! PS: My wife says that when SHE takes our cars in there, it's the only place where she doesn't feel like they are waiting with baited breath to take advantage of a woman that knows nothing about cars, by trying to up-sell her on stuff she doesn't need. Being a woman and not very knowledgeable with cars, I have really enjoyed going to Precision Auto. It is so wonderful to have trustworthy guys who are not trying to tell you every time you leave that you need to fix something else in the car. Therefore, when there really is an issue, I trust that they are looking out for my safety on the roads, considering all of the costs (value of the car vs. repair), and more. I also appreciate that they take the time to explain to me what the repair is, the cost, and why it needs to be done. Mark and his team always treat everyone with the same kindness. My Daughter went if for a oil change and to have her brakes checked they disassembled the brakes and quoted her a slightly high price when she told them she was taking it some were else they first told her they could not put it back together and then told her it was unsafe and could not leave. I came and they called the cops to force her to buy. When the cop came 40 min later he told them they wrong and they had the brakes back together in 20 min. They should have their license pulled for high pressure and illegal business practices, I had the Job done for $110 CHEAPER read more
