I would like to recommend CB Painting and Décor to anyone that is looking to have a high quality,…read moreprofessional painting/design company in their home. I recently remodeled my kitchen after 22 years with wood cabinets and granite countertops. I decided to change my counters and have my cabinets painted, and called CB Painting and Décor. Chris Blaul, the owner, came over to look at my project. He listened to what I wanted and offered so many great ideas on which way for me to go with my project. He was extremely helpful coming in with 30 plus years of experience in paint and design. I did some minor changes to my counters, and once the changes were completed, Chris' team of exceptional painters started the job. His workers were meticulous in their prep work. They taped off the work area and enclosed it with plastic to prevent dust in the rest of the house. They carefully removed each cabinet door, drawer, and pull, and marked each piece to make sure they were returned to their proper place in the kitchen once the job was completed. The project took 7 days from start to finish. At the end of each day, they left the job site in a clean and orderly manner. Once the job was completed, they removed all the prep set up, put all cabinet doors, drawers and pulls back together, they cleaned and vacuumed everything and they left the kitchen clean and free of all plastic, tape, paint, paintbrushes etc.. I am completely happy with the workmanship and professionalism CB Painting and Décor provided during my kitchen remodel. I feel as if I have a brand-new kitchen that will last another 25 years! I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of remodeling and painting their home or kitchen. CB Painting and Décor are as professional as it gets, you will be very satisfied! We scheduled an appointment for him to come over so he could give us an estimate for the work. Chris was prompt with the appointment and in sending over an estimate. Alex did an excellent job in matching the stain to the window frame and his attention to detail was not only in the staining but the prep work. We were so pleased with Alex's work that we asked that he refinish our front entry doors. I would definitely recommend CB Paint & Decor.

I have used this company before for a move and they were great, unfortunately the second time it's…read morebeen a horrible. I reached out to them back in June to schedule their services for our upcoming move August 1st. Sam went over pricing, return customer discounts etc and we emailed back and forth several times. He collected the move details (even had me select a time window for the move etc) and I asked over and over to let me know what else is needed to confirm our move and he sent me a question form asking additional details which I sent back to him and that was that. Flash forward to yesterday, I had reached out to confirm our move after looking back in my emails from the last time we used them and seeing they had sent me an official confirm and confirm number (none of which Sam sent me) to make sure I was good to go. Of course, as I feared they did not have my reservation even though I emailed Sam multiple times asking if anything else was needed to confirm our reservation. I was told by the gentlemen on the phone that Sam would be contacting me to sort this out and that because I didn't pay a deposit (a deposit I was never asked for by the way, how am I supposed to know as the customer that a deposit is what he needed to put me on their calendar if he didn't freaking tell me that) that they were all booked up and would most likely not be able to move us. I called them and emailed them all day (I was told managers, owners etc would be calling me to figure out options and help and not one person ever called me back) I had to call them every time and was ping ponged around and given "call back in an hour" over and over. So I called end of day at 5 (they close at 7) and their phones were shut off... and have been off still up until this point and not a single response to any of my emails. Btw we booked movers because I am recovering from breaking 5 bones in my foot and would not be able to move our stuff safely with a half broken foot. So now here we are 4 days from our move with zero help or resolution or options from this company, never heard from a single manager or the owner like I was told I would, and had to scramble to book a moving truck ourselves and will have to move my house with a broken foot because of their lack of follow up and scheduling error. We reached out to other movers in the area all of which, of course , are booked since this is so last minute which is really upsetting. Also, I noticed after calling them all day yesterday and today, they managed to change their address on yelp and their website to reflect Glendale CA when it said Pleasant hill CA (and are a Bay Area company) between the Time we booked in June and yesterday while I was playing phone tag with their employees. Not sure what that's all about. I understand times are hard right now but I received ZERO customer service, answers to my questions, or a resolution or options to make this right as I have an email thread with Sam confirming my reservation and the error of not having it on calendar or a deposit collected was their fault not mine. Their quality of service has gone downhill and seriously declined from the first time we used them to today. Horrible way to treat someone who was calm and nice considering the situation and just asking for their help figuring out a way to make things work. Unreal.

Then 2 weeks ago, I requested cleaning using the same number I have used to schedule monthly for years via text. Usually I just ask for service any day of the week, but this time I needed a specific day, so requested confirmation that it would fit in the schedule. No one answered, so i sent another message 4 days later asking to confirm the schedule. Again no answer. It was now the weekend before Thanksgiving and I had to scramble to find someone else to clean prior to guests arriving. I sent a final message saying that I would find another service, since I had not heard back, and hoped all was well. Never got a reply. It's a shame because they always did a good job cleaning the house, but communication needs to improve.
