I recently upgraded my carpet at my workplace to a tough indoor-outdoor carpet as I have fairly heavy traffic. The installers had quite a challenge with a damaged slab underneath the flooring, but they hung in there to get the job done right. People who saw it today had nothing but compliments on its appearance and tidiness. I have yet to see the final bill (it's probably waiting in my email), but given that this should last until I retire, it's probably worth every penny. Refinishing our 100 year-old Douglas Fir floors. They were excellent from the first bid though the final work. Gene gave us a really good bid, and we scheduled the work for a a couple weeks, and arranged the movers/pod lease for our furniture. The work was completed on time, and they even repaired a bit of our sub-floor, with no increase in the cost. Our floors look great, and are completely varnished for the next decades. I requested invoices....never received any. He never completed a job that I had paid for. There was always we will get it...never happened. I had to pay -after I had paid Dalgene already- to get it done. These are are terrible people with no ethics. read more

Gene at Dalgene's interiors is amazing! He is the kindest sweetest soul and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Being an out of town homeowner, he handled everything for us. We had some water damage, and it turned into an update of the home. Gene had great ideas and was super cost effective. I trusted him, and he never let us down. He had "a guy" for everything from tile, paint, flooring, plumbing, to cabinet and furniture making. I cannot say enough positive things about Gene and his staff. I will start off by saying their work is wonderful. They take great care. I had a rug made out of carpeting, and it looks fantastic. However ... I was quoted a price by Gene who came out to see the potential job. That quote was $575 with fringe for an 11x15' rug. (It would have been $525 without the fringe.) It took a long time for the rug to be done, but when it finally came, today. I was shocked beyond words to see the invoice at $785. He charged me $528 for the rug, which was expected, but added $220 (rather than the $75 I had been quoted). Though he explained that the cost I was charged was exactly what he was charged, and offered to show me his invoice, I feel angry, disappointed, and ripped off. He should have checked on the fringe price before he gave me the quote or at the very least called me when he knew of it and before he started the work. He did not. I feel that this is complete rip-off of me. Is he honest? Maybe, but I think he fell down in a major way by not communicating the increased cost. I cannot afford the amount of money, and I am truly angry. Recommendation: If you are thinking of using Dalgenes Interiors be sure you have a full and accurate price quote. Don't be ripped off like I was. read more

I have used Dalgenes several times in the past. Gene saved me with a few disasters. He was there quickly and this staff are wonderful. They have a great product. However, I have used Gal and I would not recommend her to anyone. My curtains came wrong, they fixed them but charged me and they are hung wrong very cricked. My hardwood floors are coming up. I thought I had a 10 year warranty but they will not fix them. I paid $10,000 for my floors and they are not glued down properly. Gene's son put them down and more than likely not correctly said another floor company. I have to pay another company to fix my floors. I would use Gene again for carpet. I do really like him as a person! read more

My husband and I were very happy working with Wade and his team at Dalgenes. Very nice folks who wanted to be sure we were pleased with the job and accommodated a last minute change in our floor choice with incredible speed. Installer Carlos did a fabulous job with the installation of a wood floor and siding in our bathroom, and came up with a great solution to a problem that came up. We felt well taken care of from start to finish with good communication and follow through; even when Wade was sick he stayed on the job keeping us in the loop with everything! read more

Dalgenes is great! Wade very Professional and really understands what he is doing. They do jobs quick and they have very reasonable prices.

One of the worst experiences with a home contractor I've ever had. We worked with Gene, who after quoting us a price and getting the initial check from us disappeared entirely and rarely if ever returned phone calls. The job was slated to be 3 weeks at max. After 6 weeks and countless phone calls, we found out that Gene had put his son and no one else on the job without telling us. Neither communicated with us on timelines. We had to pay for an extra month in our storage unit, push back our movers twice, and delay other projects at our own cost. After we asked Gene to please remove our extra storage unit costs due to his delay from our final invoice, he threatened to put a lien on our house. Gene's son's equipment is still in our yard and Gene refuses to remove it. The only time he called me was to collect payment. Chris Gallegos is wonderful - try to use him directly. Don't work with Gene - he doesn't care about his customers one bit. read more
