And that also, he just shrugged and said you should have asked me. 3rd: The corners of the carpet were dark after the cleaning, and when we asked them why it is not cleaned, he said "I" have to get down on my knees to clean it. The machine wont clean it. With him 18 years of experience he should have mentioned what all he can clean and cannot, but anyways we learned it hard way and honestly didn't wanted to argue with him. Ok if that is the case they should have told me when they rolled them up to take them to their shop or they should have returned them to me when they dropped off the rug. I asked them to replace them but they wouldn't. I'm a 69 woman with hard wood floors and I am afraid of falling. Second, I let them know there was still a spot on the rug, sent them a photo and he said he would have them return with a spotter. However when i asked him to replace the grippers, too, he refused and said he wouldn't send the guy back either. In the course of the conversation he called me "sweetie" which is rude and patronizing. I told him I've used his company before and my friend currently has expensive rugs there currently. I feel that I need to let her know of my experience. He said I was threatening him. No, this is called a review and telling my friend is a courtesy to my friend. What a shame to have been treated in such a manner. I will not be using their services again. Follow-up to Caravan response: The offer to fix the spot on the carpet was retracted by the owner after I asked about the grippers. Therefore his response is misleading.
