I love how dark it looks from the outside while remaining incredibly clear to see out of from the inside. We went with 5% on the rear windows, 30% on the front driver and passenger windows, and 70% on the windshield with a brow. The installation is flawless. The team was fantastic to work with and they provided me with a quote to come back later for the panoramic moonroof, and even took the time to write up quotes for removing and re-tinting my 2023 Tundra, plus a quote for my daughter's vehicle. I also noticed they carry a great selection of other aftermarket parts, like dash cams and automated running boards. If you are looking for high-quality tint and a team that provides excellent service, I highly recommend them! They are very professional and not pushy at all with their sales. One keen factor I picked up on is how fast their quotes are with automation. They able to send to you to review and approve. They do offer military discount upon request and proper ID.

Subwoofer & amp - install could've been cleaner BUT sounds amazing so I'm satisfied. Solid prices and if something needs to be ordered, the TAT is reasonable. Clean in the inside. Customer service is always great. I'm unsure if there's WiFi BUT I was still able to work because there's service in the shop so I connected my computer to hotspot and did my thing. These fellas are kind, understanding, professional, hardworking, reliable, etc. I'll go on in this review to explain how an installation with multiple hiccups and hurdles proved that The Car Audio Shop deserves five stars. ---------------- ANDROID HEAD UNITS ---------------- I ordered a beautiful 12" Android head unit and asked TCAS to install it. Nick initially refused, mentioning customers are never satisfied with them and neither are they. I paid for them to put it in after the warning, and I saw what they meant. It didn't work with steering wheel controls, sounded awful, etc. I hated it on day one of install and scheduled my next visit that day. ---------------- STINGER HEAD UNITS ---------------- TCAS only sells and installs what they put in their own vehicles, and I understand why. This Stinger head unit has my 2016 4Runner feeling more like a 2026. Everything works and integrates well, and the sound quality is incredible. ---------------- COST ---------------- $100/hr. Don't let this scare you. Whenever I stopped in for surprise visits over the days they had my 4Runner, there were almost always two or all three working on it at the same time. ---------------- WORK ETHIC ---------------- Find a chair in their shop. I triple dog dare you. When these guys are on the task, they're working and working hard. ---------------- WORK WARRANTY ---------------- Unfortunately for me, the dash cam rear view mirror main unit and one camera were faulty. The manufacturer sent me a replacement and TCAS worked 5 hours at no cost to me on a Saturday to get me fixed up.

They were happy to work with my existing gear, gave me a fair price, and had everything finished when they said they would. Based on this experience, I'll definitely be back for more work. Thanks again for the great service!

I went ahead and did a Maps search for whoever was close to me but the shops i looked into - their reviews sucked butt. I went further into my search.... Hmm, Pro Car Audio. I'll see what they are all about. How many miles away from me though, I went ahead called. I spoke to the owner of the establishment and with his knowledge on speakers, amps, and whatever was needed, I decided to make an appointment with him. At my appointment, from the outside of the shop, it looks like a hole in the wall shop, but when you step foot inside, it was like the Taj Mahal!! The lobby and what was displayed was pretty awesome, and very organized. Sohail gave me a quote that sounded very reasonable to install the speakers to my vehicle, but I had just recently purchased another vehicle that needed a dash cam installed. Instead of getting speakers for the vehicle I originally wanted done, I got the installation for my dash cam instead, and they were pretty professional and on point on how they did the installation. Very clean and very impressive. I've been in many car stereo shops before, but never like this just for the fact that the owner and his brother know what they're talking about and what's good.. no, GREAT for your vehicle! Sohail and Faisal - the best in Austin for sure. And if anyone is reading this, COME TO PRO CAR AUDIO. The word "PRO" is there for a reason!

Really great experience (from start to finish) working with this family-owned company! When I say…read morefamily-owned, I mean that Mary, her husband, and their son will come to your house to install your new system. That level of family-owned. First and foremost, Mary has fantastic communication. When I initially sent my quote request, she responded quickly and thoroughly. Throughout the process, I had multiple questions (new to this), and she took the time to carefully reply to each question via email. This level of responsiveness is super important to me especially when it's a field I'm not knowledgeable in. There are a lot of moving parts when alarming a house and it was important that I understood exactly what we were getting. Her team did a great job installing our new security system. Everyone was very nice and professional. They took the time to explain everything and asked our input (regarding placement, etc.) whenever necessary. Mary carefully went through everything in the app to get me set up and familiar with the interface. They were also very respectful of our home -- offering to either remove shoes or put on their own shoe covers (we're a shoe-free household with small children so this is important to us). I also really appreciated how customizable everything was. There are so many different options that are offered with the security system (including a lot of automation like locking doors and controlling lights, etc. that we weren't actually interested in). If you're a newbie like me, I'll break down the basic security options. It helps to have some understanding of what's available before you get started. I was a little overwhelmed but Mary was helpful in answering my questions. Anyway, you've got a keypad that controls your alarm system (arm/disarm). You can do that via app (even if not home) or key fob. Then you've got your various sensors. Obviously, the door open sensors are a must. They'll trigger the alarm if someone opens the door (when armed) and is unable to enter the proper disarm code. Then you've got the option of installing window open sensors. There are also glass break sensors (generally, one per small room or two for large rooms) that will notify you if a glass break is detected (or if house is armed, set off the alarm). Finally, you've got motion sensors (these are automatically turned off when you arm your system in stay mode versus away). Assuming you'll wire the doors, you need to decide if you want glass breaks and if so, whether they will cover full home or just most vulnerable areas; if you want window sensors and if so, on all or some windows (might depend on your window type and vulnerability to window being manually opened and whether glass breaks might be sufficient); and whether you want motion sensors and which areas you want them to cover. I'd recommend doing some preliminary research/planning on how these tools might fit your home and what coverage is necessary versus overkill. It depends on your layout, etc. Next, you've got cameras. They offer WiFi-based cameras (operated through alarm.com) and standard wired cameras. Video doorbells too. We replaced our Ring with their doorbell cam to centralize our camera controls. You can have everything controlled through the alarm.com app for convenience. The app is great -- very user-friendly. Anyway, there are a lot of other options available as well that I didn't even delve into. Thought I'd share the basics to get you started. Don't hesitate to use this company! They offer free in-person consultations and fantastic service -- professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. Oh and their rates seem reasonable and competitive. Very pleased with this experience as well as our new alarm system! BIG THANK YOU!

We chose Security Consultant Pros because we felt really comfortable dealing with a smaller family owned company. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and a very quick install. Last summer (2025) I brought in my Shelby GT350 after buying it used. The previous owner had cut big holes in the doors for aftermarket speakers. On a Shelby. I was pissed. I wanted factory-looking enclosures, clean professional wiring throughout, and while they were in there, I added a single 12" sealed Arc Audio subwoofer in the trunk. Michael was great to work with. He's clearly a JL Audio fan but didn't hesitate when I wanted the higher-end Arc sub. He ordered exactly what I wanted, built a super clean box that looks completely natural in the trunk, and installed a JL amp with a convenient power control knob right below the steering wheel. The turnaround time was very fast too -- I had the car back quicker than I expected. The attention to detail and quality of the work was impressive. I'm actually going back soon to have him install a new head unit in my 2012 Honda Civic, and I have full confidence it'll turn out right.
