Everything from the quotation process, time to delivery, and most importantly the quality of the product was top notch. The inherent design of the product is very unique and we didn't find anything out there as well-engineered as what these guys delivered. You can quickly tell the time and effort put into each custom, hand-crafted window by all the details - everything from the solid steel frame that has no flex to the gas chambered hinge design, to the seams around the dual-paned glass and how everything is assembled. None of the work is out-sourced and they do it right in their own warehouse locally, and this is clearly reflected in the quality of the finished product. The windows are easy to use and held up very well. We get more compliments and questions on our windows than the rest of our newly remodeled house. To top it all, the staff and customer service here was amazing. Gary is the owner who designed and engineered the product from the ground up, and you can tell he takes pride in his work through years of experience in welding and design. And...genius...he put in a stopper so our guests don't pull the screens past the middle like they have done for...oh...50 years. We told him if he can repair what is already there so that the locks work and he quoted us $400. We accepted that estimate and after he took it all apart, said he could not repair it so we told him go ahead and put it back together. We're gonna get other quotes. He says he cannot put it back together and he tried to leave with our Parts. I spoke to his manager Armando and Armando was very unprofessional. As you seen the picture, it was only eight screws that he had to put my stuff back together, but didn't do it instead he was upset because he cannot take advantage of my wife. Thank God, my wife called me to this matter I did not recommend these guys. I never will.

California Window Masters was the most competitive. I also decided to do the sale through CWM's manager, Greg. From the start, Greg was kind, honest, and candid. He addressed all my concerns and was able to install all my windows and the new slider before the estimated deadline. His team was professional as well. Victor led installation and had the help of one other person. They finished everything in a day, and were very considerate (e.g., putting plastic down to not stain the carpet, vacuuming up dust, cleaning the windows). If I ever need new windows again, I know I'll go back to California Window Masters. I have great respect for Greg and the way he does business (no hard sell from him!). I opted for dual thickness glass (1/8" and 1/4") to help block the noise from the train, and am so happy I did. It was an extra $400 but well worth it. They removed my old French doors, installed the slider, along with white wood trim on the inside, and it looked great. Slides easily, and came with a screen. After the installers left I noticed a small defect in the track. It didn't seem to affect the functionality, but I notified the company and they came out and took a look. It was such a minor thing, but they decided to replace the entire frame, and did so in less than a week. We are very happy with how it looks, the quality, and the service. I will use them again.
