Today, Aaron from city glass came by to estimate repairing our 4 foot miter window. The window is 6 feet above ground level and appeared to have a very large crack on it. He came all the way out only to reveal that it was a spiderweb on the glass. There was no damage and no need for his services. Aaron thoroughly helped me assess my options, knew all of the potential pitfalls and nuances, and we came up with a plan to tackle all three projects. Total time was maybe twenty minutes. Everytime I contact beach cities glass and provide the specs for the glass they quickly have it cut to size. Often the same day and at a great price meaning. I recently replaced a piece of glass at my personal residence and was torn between a few designs. I'm a contractor that had shower doors installed on a project of mine. Doors were installed wrong and when I had Doug come out to fix them he said they were fine and proceeded to talk down to my client, telling him he didn't know what he's talking about. I went by his dingy shop and was shocked at how unorganized and unprofessional it was. Doug proceeded to tell me he would up-charge my client to fix the shower doors and said "that guys house is huge, he makes plenty of money and can afford it". They essentially ripped me off by not performing work that they charged me for. I stupidly paid in advance. If you want good glass work, go a few doors down to Mission Glass. The owner interrupted my conversation with a sales person and in a nutshell says to my salesperson " I need you to work on something else now" mind you I had only been talking with the salesperson for 3 maybe 4 minutes . Then says to me what do you need ? We charge for a design consult ! I'm thinking " design consult ". ? I was telling the salesperson what I needed . I received good customer service and product from Mission Glass. After my experience, I would definitely use them again. I called other shops in the area. Only this glass shop carried the item I was seeking. They were very sincere, and it seems to be a family business that has been in the industry for a while. They knew a lot about the type of glass which I needed. I wanted to point out that I discovered that there are two glass businesses close by with almost the exact name, so maybe the person who did not get a response perhaps confused it with the neighboring shop.
