Message Precision Rooter to clear my main sewer line. I usually have 2 licensed plumbers I work with but both were busy on a job for 2 days and the clog had backed up to the garage utility since and every time someone flushed the toilet, the garage utility sink will fill up. Yes, yuck!!! Ray return my message within 10 minutes, asked me where I was located and gave me a quote for the job. They have set rates for the weekend, which is $45 more than week days. He came out 2hrs later and clear the main sewer line within 45mins. Our building were happy campers. Ray is a young man, who knows what's he's doing and is quick at getting the job done. He courteous and started with the easiest solution first and only if that didn't work, would he consider using the hydro jetter. My wife has experienced the sewer getting clogged when I was out of town and she's gotten estimates in the $1,300-$1,500 range from the other rooter services. If we had needed it, the snake and hydrojet service would have been no more than $750. But the clogg was able to be clear by snake only, which was $250 for weekend service. read more

Extremely happy with the work that was completed by Precision Rooter & Drain. I found them on yelp and requested a quote. They got back to me in less than 2 hours. I also requested a quote from another plumber but they took much longer to reply. Anyway, at that point I had already called PRD and booked an appointment. The woman on the phone was very friendly and collected all the info she needed from me. I explained that we had a water main backup in our house. It was semi-urgent and she was able to schedule me an appt. the next day. She also explained 3 times that there would be a $65 travel fee for the technician regardless if work was done or not. I thought that was fair and standard but great that she emphasized that so there would be no surprises when it was time to pay. The next day, the plumber named Ray called 30 min. in advance to let us know he was on his way. When he and his coworker arrived, they immediately knew what to do. They snaked all the drains in our garage and cleaned out all the sewer lines. He also answered all our questions and worked efficiently, completing the job in an hour. Mario is a LIFE SAVER!!! Our double bathroom sinks were both clogged... as in not draining. At all. Not even a drip. My husband and I were reduced to brushing our teeth in the bathtub. Mario came out, called and texted *before* he arrived, and figured out that the pipes weren't configured correctly. ARGH! Fortunately, we determined that he could access the pipes from underneath the house in our super creepy Blair Witch Basement. I stupidly dumped one of those gel-based ice packs down my kitchen sink. I had a problem with my toilette which was caused by the mistake that a handyman had made in changing a par and using the wrong part. i had a clogged roof drain that needed to be addressed before the rainy season. I called Precision Rooter based on all the positive Yelp reviews. I called on a Monday morning and expected that it would take a few days to get an appointment but was surprised when he said he would be at my house in 20 minutes. Ray showed up and I described the problem - after signing a basic estimate he got right to work. He was on my roof for about 2 hours trying various methods but it turned into a bigger issue and would require cutting the pipe to be able to remove the obstruction. An hour later the pipe was clear and draining and he was able to put a patch over the hole. Even tough it took 3 hours he only charged me for two. Post-Christmas sink problem solved! Called at 2:30, they had an opening window of 3-5. She explained to me the pricing clearly, as it was listed on their website. Mario called fifteen minutes before and was there by 4:20. I was a little worried because he did say "oh wow" a couple of times but he worked on my janky old bernal plumbing, showed me what was weak, what broke and what he had to replace. He had to snake the adjoining bathroom and replace the trap there as well. It was also draining badly. All in, it was $245. Was it cheap, it seemed fair. Was it reliable, yes. Was it fast, yes. I simply HAD to write about this experience..! We called Ray to have a look at our leaking toilet. I was impressed he called to say he would be here in about 2 min, that was nice, and then I met him, explained the problem, and left him to fix it. So my sewer line was plugged and backing up this morning. I Called Precision and was told that someone would be here between 5-7pm today. So that was what happened. Here's my experience: The woman on the phone was polite, gave me a good estimate and a time that fit my schedule today (other plumbers were 'booked' until mid June). When Ray arrived, he was punctual, attentive, polite, efficient and a nice guy. Overall he was very professional in his appearance and demeanor. Considering their fast response time and Ray's ability to quickly solve my problem, I think their pricing was *very* reasonable. Another great experience. I don't need them often, but Precision is prompt, professional and appear to know exactly what they are doing. To start, the person holding down the office reviews the predicament, says exactly what to expect and offers a possible range of charges based on that info. All this without being asked to do so. Then, after a heads-up phone call, the plumber arrives on time and does everything needed quickly and efficiently. (I had a more difficult problem in 2014 and they worked for hours and the charge was hefty, but necessary). In this case, the situation was not as difficult as it appeared and the charge were extremely low. That just proves that these people are honest and only want to do what is required so that the client will call them back again knowing they can be trusted.
