He was nice. I felt he must have been satisfying me. But only at the beginning.
He was like someone who knows about little about smart phone more than others. But just not enough. Not enough knowledge, ability, experience, to touch somebody's smartphone.
My Samsung Note 4 had trouble with Focusing system of camera. It did worked functionally everything except focus. I could use it as cell phone, text, access to internet, even taking photo(but quality of pic was not good enough because focus did not work).
I went three different repair shop. All three shops said my note4 needed to be replaced camera. Precision repair said 90mins job, $40. Repair shop A said takes one night $90. Repair shop B said takes one night $65. So timewise, pricewise, precision repair was the best. I asked him to fix mine. After about one week, he call me to receive a camera. Then I visit him to fix. After 90mins, he said to me that my note 4 had had another problem. That was why he could not only fix but made my Note4 stopped working at all also. When I gave him 90mins ago, it was working functionally except focusing. He said that needs to order the part. It would take couple of days. I need to survive without smartphone for days. I had no choice. I asked him to order to proceed. He said that he would not ask me any extra charge for this, because this was because of his misestimate. I was not happy with this trouble. But I still believed him. because I knew he still tried satisfying me at this point.
2days later he contacted me to let me know that he got parts. I visited his shop at his opening time 5PM. it was closed. I wait half hour in front of his shop. Nobody showed up. I contacted to him to ask when he is coming. His answer was 8pm. He asked me to come again 8pm. I came there again 8pm. still closed. I contacted to him. he said that he was on the way. He showed up 5 or 10mins later. Then He started to fix mine....... I was not very happy this moment. I was so tired to spend my time to him. But I had no choice. I wait. after 30mins. He fixed my Note4. He gave back to me was looks like working. I paid him $50(tip for $10). I left the shop. I went back to my car, I check all messages and others. Next, I tried to use the camera. I realized camera was not working. I text to him about this but no answer. Finally he replied to me. That means he must know I was in trouble. Since then, I texted to him 12 times till this moment in 7days. He hardly replied. Even he replied me what he said is he was too busy.
He may have given up to take care of me. Because he has never told me what time He open the shop. His web site said it opens 5p-9p from Mon - Fri. But he said that he did not open
whole week of 8/28-9/2. I asked him when he opens. He never reply to me about it.
Today is 8th days since I complaint him about camera was not fixed. I am very tired play with this kind of person. I gave up asking him to complete his job. Yes I lost, He won. I paid $50 for nothing, I spend almost three weeks for nothing.
If he fix only his friends smart phone with very low price. It is good. But if he does this as shop for public. It may be too early for his skill of repair and too early to do his own business. read more
