Before we got started I thought 75mins would be too long and I'll probably ask the masseuse to stop half way through. But at the end of 75mins when she said that the session was done my first thought was 'what! We just start 15mins ago'. Carol did a great job. I had some pain in upper back, neck and shoulders. She did such a good job. She used celluma for about 15mins. I did not feel like getting out of that bed after my massage. Haven't felt so relaxed since I was 10yrs old probably :) Warning: it's very difficult to not fall asleep while getting massaged

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the WORST place I have been to for a massage ever…read more The massage therapists are pleasant & do a good job but it is run TERRIBLY. I have never experienced such poor management in my life. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone or email. I leave multiple messages & after about 5 voicemails I will receive a call back or they happen to answer. I was told by one of their reps when I finally reached someone to complain that they wouldn't have answered my call but had recognized my number as I had called complaining before. I have a complaint into the better business bureau of MA & they won't even return their calls. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It has been MONTHS of arguing and trying to reach someone here to speak to. I was told multiple times after countless attempts the owner (Carol) would call me back & I have yet heard from them. Please keep in mind this has been going on since I started visiting them in Jan 2019 and has nothing to do with the lack of response time due to COVID-19. I received a monthly membership package for Christmas & little did I know it would be the gift from hell. Each appointment I tried to call & book took 2-3 weeks to arrange. I finally gave up trying to deal with them & canceled my membership & have been trying to get reimbursed & speak with someone surrounding it since June 2019. Her practice is located within a medical massage office, in an office park right here in Methuen, not even 15 minutes from where I live, which is great. Jacqui is a skilled, knowledgeable licensed massage therapist who gets into those hard to treat areas that others don't typically treat- (I'm talking Psoas release, TMJ work, and some deep glute work.) I tried Chelmsford Massage a few months ago. This place is really a private massage practice,…read morewhere the masseuse has what amounts to a single room that serves as office and massage area. The room is very comfortable, and the massage table *extremely* comfortable--almost like sinking into a down bed! I liked (Lisa) the masseuse immediately, and she did a great job of setting the mood and the expectations for the massage. At the beginning there were some general forms and questions which we talked through to give her an idea of my needs. After that, Lisa was very frank about her massage style (which is more massage for relaxation than therapy). She even referred me to a therapeutic massage practice where I could get more targeted massage for joint/muscle treatment. The massage turned out to be gentler than I typically look for, but it was remarkably relaxing, and I highly recommend Lisa and Chelmsford Massage if you are looking for relaxation therapy. By the end of the massage I was glad to have come, and felt the price was quite reasonable for the treatment I received.
