Her practice is located within a medical massage office, in an office park right here in Methuen, not even 15 minutes from where I live, which is great. Jacqui is a skilled, knowledgeable licensed massage therapist who gets into those hard to treat areas that others don't typically treat- (I'm talking Psoas release, TMJ work, and some deep glute work.) Received a gift through Groupon for a massage with this Jackie character. I called a few days before my appointment to reschedule as my job required it, she agreed to a later time on the same day which was great as I wasn't expecting to be seen the same day I originally booked. Before I could hang up, when she thought the call disconnected, she went OFF on a curse filled rant about A-holes and f@cken people and how she now has to stick around until 1 (the time she booked me). Ummm maybe don't offer a time that doesn't work for you? It wasn't my request or suggestion, it was all her. Regardless I didn't want to lose the gift so I showed up at the date & time that was booked. The door was locked, she wasn't answering the phone. after multiple calls she picks up and yells at me that my "boyfriend cancelled" ummm no he didn't, I had literally just left him to go there. How unprofessional and ridiculous can a person get? I went back and checked the reviews on Groupon, various one star complaints about her behavior. problem is you can't review unless you've had the misfortune of already having seen her and giving her your money. It all started when I called and told her I had a groupon. She put me on "hold" but was still talking to me saying she was busy and complained about her computer not working. I said I'd call back and she said no if you do that I'll never answer. She complaines about how people only want to twxt and no one talks on the phone. She conplained about people making appointments one day for the next day abd not showing up. She had horrible professional skills and was extremely rude. I made my appointment and she said she takes vouchers before appointments so she doesn't get screwed because people no show (understandable). She told me where she was located and said she was on the second floor. I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment. I could not find her office. I called her with no answer so i left her a message. I waited until my appointment time and called her again it was my appointment time so she should have been able to answer because I was not there. I left another message saying I would wait 10 more minutes and then I was going home. She called me 20 minutes after my appointment time told me she still had a few minutes for me and to come back she would "fit me in" before her next appointment. No thanks. read more

I started going to Jacqui in 2021. She is very aware of your specific areas of concern and able to make you feel fantastic. I have had issues with mobility and a swollen ankle for years. After one session and some cupping, I was astonished at the decrease in the swollen ankle. She always adds some stretching and hot stones to the mix. I'm very satisfied with the extra time she takes to make you feel better and more relaxed. Can't wait for my next visit. read more

I went to Jacqui and had a very relaxing massage. The space is clean and comfortable. She asks before smudging or using anything with odors. I was pleased with the range of options she offered, including Thai style stretches. An added bonus was the hot stones incorporated into the massage, not just laid on my back. She does not nickel and dime you with extra charges, the set rate covers everything. She is gifted and knows just where to focus attention. Exceptional service, suffered from headaches and neck issues and back issues for a long time. My first massage recently was the best I have ever had. The customized treatment was truly a surprise and welcomed form of therapy and relaxation. I was not impressed. She said she had been doing massage for 9 years, but I would not go back. It's very unfortunate to have to write a review that is not positive but I feel it necessary for practical reasons. She was very nice and pleasant, but seemed unorganized and scattered. She was pressing very hard on "pressure" points, but in fact they were not all quite that. She even said I had tightness on spots she pressed Extremely hard on that were in fact tendons. I even told her she was pressing on and moving tendons but she said it was tightness. The other problem was that she got the oil all over my face (which was not part of the deal), and all in my hair. I simply felt gross when I left. My shoulders hurt now and were not hurting before I went in. The salon she is in is not quite as clean as I would have expected. It smelled musty. I will not be going back... Even with her being as nice as she was. read more
