Last week Brett contacted me again to tell me they finally have the topside control panel for the entire spa.....yeah. Brett showed up early and had the bluetooth system working again. It sounds fabulous, the speakers have high end quality sound and makes the entire spa time even more relaxing. David worked with us during this entire process. I felt so sorry for him as getting the parts were out of his control. Then Brett, total gentleman and professional who explained each step he was taking to attempt to fix the issue, much thanks friend. Thanks to Benny and Jeremy who also stopped by one evening after the completed their spa deliveries for the day and worked well past dark to help. The ladies in the office who kept getting out calls for any possible updates, thank you. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase back in July and delivery in August. David your entire staff is incredible and patient, so keep up the great job you all do and keep doing it right.

Reached out to Esmeralda in service. Paid a Couple hundred dollar service fee. Waited over a month for a Technician to visit. He spend about 10 mins with my spa. Enough to remove filters and the top of spa. He stated he needed a compressor to blow the lines, and the spa jets seemed glued on and were not popping off easily. He left. I truly thought he was either going to get a compressor or have lunch. He never returned. I waited another week to call Esmeralda who stated that they were "waiting to see how the owner wanted to proceed with the repair". I haven't heard back in three weeks. The request for service started back in Spring. It is now almost August. Unsure of what I paid $$ for service call. Absolutely nothing was done. I've been more than patient.

You will find no one better than T&C. I was immediately sold on Town and Country from day 1 and it is purely because of Emil Hermis, our builder. I filled out a request for information and within an hour Emil came to our home and began designing. Emil immediately struck me as a man of integrity, dedication, and very knowledgeable. My first impression was not wrong, Emil is a master of his craft and every single detail mentioned was delivered upon with perfection. I cannot begin to describe how grateful and thankful to Emil we are. The contractors used by T&C are top notch. There wasn't a single crew that worked on our pool that wasn't simply amazing. All were incredibly friendly, respectful, diligent, and hard working. The quality and skill every single crew brought to the build cannot be understated.. and they did it in 100 degree Southeast Texas heat. I cannot stress enough to a potential pool buyer, take care of your crews working on your pool. It is boiling hot outside and these guys do not take breaks, get them Gatorade or water. It doesn't take much to take care for the people giving you their all in our weather. We love our new pool and could not recommend Town and Country enough. We have dumped hundreds of dollars in chemicals into our pool at their recommendation with seeing little to no positive results in the quality of our pool water. We eventually went elsewhere and with one of their recommended treatments, our pool was in top shape in no time. A couple weeks ago, we scheduled someone from TEXSUN pools to clean our filters. We were told that we would get a call that Friday to confirm the appointment (with no mention as to when the actual appointment was). Time passed and we never heard from them. We asked another company to come out and clean the filters since we were ghosted. Today, while I was away from home. Someone came by and said they were here to clean the filters. My husband not knowing what was going on and not able to get a hold of me, told them to proceed to the backyard to do what they needed to do. He texted me that they were here and I immediately called their customer service. I told them that it wasn't appropriate for them to show up a week late to a job with no phone call to confirm. The gentleman who was washing the filters, that were already clean, finished up right after I got home. In the meantime, I was on the phone with their customer service. They blamed it on me not answering my phone. I confirmed my number with them and they took it down incorrectly. Hence, me not getting a phone call to confirm. It was my understanding after the call with customer service that I wouldn't be getting charged since they showed up late and with no warning. When the gentleman finished putting our equipment together, he knocked on our front door expecting payment. I reluctantly paid ($129), knowing I would never do business with them again. Bottom line is you can go ANYWHERE else and get a better experience, and more knowledgeable employees. Needless to say I will never return to their location in The Woodlands.

Sales sold us our pool and claimed that if the build took longer than 6 weeks, there was a problem. The build took a lot longer and sales quit taking our calls. We never knew from day to day if anyone would be at our house to work. The owner had the nerve to tell us that we lived too far and the trips to our house had killed his margin. This was after he was paid in full mind you... The owner's early 20s son basically built our pool. We are convinced we were guinea pigs for him to learn. Example: At one point, the kid buried a drainage pipe in the dirt. We brought this up to the owner who asked if we would dig it up and measure the pipe so he did not have to drive to our house. We did...unhappily...and the smell from water being stagnant and mud clogging the "drainage" hole was horrific! This sparked extreme worry as to what else was done 1/2 ways. After the build was complete, we paid to get a 2nd opinion on the plumbing as we suspected there was air in the lines based on prior experience with a pool. We had brought this up to the owner who told us that if we find the problem, to let him know; he claimed to have already checked and couldn't find anything. Turns out our 2nd opinion found the problem right away, fixed it, and let us know that the plumbing was cheaply done and we may eventually have to get it redone. The routing was too short and the piping should have been a 1/2 size larger. Not to mention, our pool equipment looks like the leaning tower of Pisa. Every day that contractors were at our house, we had to pick up garbage so our dogs wouldn't eat it (i.e. taco wrappers, drink bottles, etc.) The son had a young lady with him one day who used my backyard as a bathroom. When they were called out on it, we got to hear colorful language pertaining to us and how far we lived. We relied heavily on our backyard cameras to let us know when people were working. Again, we never knew from day to day. There was NO communication. The unfortunate part is that the company did not apply for permits with the county ahead of building our pool, so we did not have that safety in place. We also found out (from the owner) mid build that he had been fined - something to do with permits on another build. Here we are months later... We just received a letter in the mail from the gunite company threatening to put a lien on our house for non-payment. When we called the owner of Montgomery Custom Pools, there was a screaming match. P.S. we received a written piece of paper from Vance via text message that he paid the gunite company by exchanging services for a Jeep. We should not know that level of his financial situation. Nor should we have ever received a letter like that...months after our pool was "complete". He has sad stories galore and nothing is his fault. No-one should have to deal with a company like this. Unprofessional and an all-around NIGHTMARE to deal with! Caveat - we had a pool built in our previous home and know the process. Do your homework. Read reviews. Ask for reputable references. Update - June 21, 2018 We are now getting harassment texts and phone calls from the owner regarding this review. In addition, we have had to pay to get plumbing re-worked and are looking into getting concrete decking redone due to the concrete cracking. Not to mention the surface of our pool having craters. It's extremely frustrating. Again, do your homework on reputable references. Update - Sept 12, 2018 Simply warning consumers. Still receiving harassment communications regarding online reviews. It has gotten to the point where he is bullying us with threats. NOT OKAY. The positive out of this experience is meeting others that share similar horror stories from dealing with this company.
