This is a nice little gun shop, I been here many times over the years. Chris, the owner, has handled a few transfers for me at a very reasonable price. I just came from there actually. He is great to deal with when having to filling out forms and answering any questions you might have. Cool selection of handguns as well, nice cross section from different companies with the latest models. This store isn't filled to the brim with a bunch of widgets and gadgets and Wannabe Rambo gear like other stores, mostly just what you need for your shooting and storage needs. Plus some other useful stuff like knives and such. Nobody wins here. The owner gets a negative review and I had THE WORST experience of any store, not just one that sells firearms. I am not from the town the store is located in, so finding the store was difficult and frustrating to see that "Red Dot," was a generic Warehouse sign 12in wide boasting Size 9 font. Walking into the building was also consistent with "No Sign" themes. I waited on the second floor behind a door that I honestly thought was a focus group or maybe a meeting of some sort... Yes.... No sign on the door. Ok now let's get into the real meat. The owner was dealing with 2 senior citizens who wanted to buy a "safe" gun. I waited (with pleasure as i looked around for products,) to only interrupt hanging out time with (I presume) a local, frequent face and friend. I asked him if he had any holsters for any of my current firearms for him to tell me that the gun I OWN is illegal and not mass compliant.... On the list.... etc. After an awkward pause I thought maybe he was having a rough day and try to make light of the mood as a means to ask questions for specific products. From questions about ammo, holsters and a knife, he was combative as if it were his goal to not sell anything. After every insult he would return to his joyful conversation with his bud that had walked in. This guy not only will never have my or any of my buddies service (If they can find the place,) but truly was a bad representation of what responsible and knowledgeable gun owners behave like. It's as crazy as him taking out a holster and saying he was "throwing it away," if his bud didnt take it (which he didnt,) and then as far as him scolding me for making an offer on a simple leather holster that he was, "going to throw away." Before I left I mentioned with ZERO frustration in my voice mind you, that his store was difficult to find due to lack of signs and legible font. I stated that I was from the south shore and he was apparently insulted and shocked I haven't familiarized myself up and down with a Town that is known for a shut down "C" grade Gentlemen's Club and a jail. Called every gun store around this guy without disclosing his name or the store, and all the workers knew who it was. RUDE, offensive, should take a course in Firearm's safety and state laws regarding firearms. Not a good encounter if he were the first "Gun Guy" you met. I get no pleasure leaving bad reviews. I rarely have bad experiences that demand me to write one. Hit up somewhere else. read more

Every time I've gone to this place the owner has been very friendly and knowledgeable. The old location was a bit cramped when ya got a few people in there, which is a common sight due to the quality and especially these days the quantity of products. The new space is much larger and well lit. The walls are filled with accessories and spare magazines that are all very reasonably priced. He also has a decent supply of Optics, something that other stores in the area have none or very few of. Lastly the prices are very competitive with other stores in the area. I live 5 minutes from a gun shop in my area but from now on I will make the hour trip here whenever I need guns or ammo. This is my new go to place. I went into Precision Point Firearms inquiring about a specific legal handgun. The guy behind the counter was condescending and was so rude to me. He was giving me dirty looks, couldn't answer my question. Asked me if I looked at the roster told him I wasn't aware there was a lineup. The handgun a Ruger LCRX is not restricted or prohibited in Mass., if that what he meant by roster?? I asked him a specific question about a particular legal handgun he was rude obnoxious and unhelpful I walked out of the store swearing at him and he swore back at me in a more graphic manner, totally unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend that store to anybody, not if they had the last gun on earth in there. I felt bad because there were other people in there but my language was nothing in comparison to his, he was a rude ignoramus don't go to Precision Point Firearms. read more
