I had a very positive experience making a purchase here. The staff members were very helpful and that helped to make my experience better.

after first having 3 stars, then 2 stars after giving them the benefit of the doubt, I decided to try and buy a box of ammo again... stood at the counter behind one other person. A guy came out of the back with a pistol and said he was helping another person. while that person was looking at the pistol, the employee actually rung up the guy ahead of me. I was excited because not only is this good customer service, surely he would do the same for me. After that guy was done, the guy looking at a pistol asked if they had a different pistol. the employee walked around the store for 5 minutes with the customer instead of ringing me up. another employee came out of the back and said "can I help anyone? help anyone buy a gun?" I didn't jump at this because he said "buy a gun" and someone ended up stepping up to him. A minute or 2 later another employee came from the back and said "can I help anyone" I decided to try and quickly raise my hand but he acknowledged the first person he looked at, not people who had been waiting. Previous to this I actually took a $100 bill out of my pocket and started waving it around in the air sarcastically assuming someone would help me if I did that. NOPE... left the ammo on the counter for the 4th time... never giving any money to this place ever again read more

I've never had a problem here. If you know how it goes, they get busy as all hell on holidays and anytime our favorite Gov or AG ban something without having real science or evidence to back anything. I'll have to say when i first started and worked in the area, this was my go to, i still pop in from time to time but there is a lot of competition now. Small space with a load of inventory. They have good buying power so some items you can find good deal on ammo and firearms. Some things are priced a bit higher than some competition, so do your research and pop in. They won't bother to do any sort of change in price so know that before going in. I've done transfers here, purchased a bunch and also been there on Black Friday / tax free weekends. They have a newsletter weekly and will display all instore promotions, special guests, ammo deals and firearms deals. They also have large consignment display and will take trade / buy your safe queens. Price .. well that's between you and them plus the fee. Check them out if you're in the area! There's an atmosphere almost like a club there where people talk and laugh while they're picking out what to buy. Very busy place, so don't be upset that someone's not rushing right over.There is a process to buying firearms and it takes time. Be patient. They are human just like you. If you thought being a gun owner in Mass was tough to maintain.... just go to 4 seasons fire arms. Your treatment by staff will be assessed by which town your LTC is based out of. In the event that our government places a time line of when you can legally purchase future banned weapons for sale, you will experience the most trifling price gouging any gun shop could offer. They were selling a basic Chinese SKS for $1,700 dollars when it usually goes for $600 bucks. Why do you ask ? Because they can and you have no other choice and they know it! No biggie...I'll do what every other Mass LTC holder has been doing in the face of fire arm regulation....move to the Live free or die state. NH isn't exactly aroused by the Massachusetts exodus flooding into their state however, they welcome their new property owners to boost NH's economy and have a great big smile when they hand a newly legal resident a firearm with zero price gouging and no mistreatment. read more

This store does massive volume in a small store space. Sometimes it is VERY crowded, especially before a legal change where a type of gun will be grandfathered in a week. Lines can sometimes be out the door down the corridor and around the building. You can't just show when it's convenient to you. You do your research before you come to the store - there's the internet now with tons of reviews. The phone gets answered because they don't spend time yakking about this or that. Do you have this in stock. What price is it? They never negotiate on price. Not for you or anyone. Their staff is knowledgeable but they are not there to help you decide. They are never rude. If you can't adjust to any and all of these business practices you need to go elsewhere. I have bought 1o guns there, mostly new. I have also sold seven on consignment. 18% is extremely reasonable to use their store, webpage, staff including the transfer fee. If consignments don't sell it's because you price your gun too high. If your approval is delayed - it's the government. read more

I've been going here for years and even purchased my Sig P229 from them. I've never been impressed by their customer service, always feeling rushed, even when purchasing my firearm. Their prices were never that great but I prefer brick-and-mortar purchasing to online so I was willing to pay a bit more to support a local business. Their specials are a joke, they run out long before I read the email. Well today they really hit a low for me. I went in to purchase a DP-12 bull-pup which their website said they had four in stock. The salesperson told me that it was in stock for online purchases only and they didn't have any in the store. Then he tried to sell me a Kel-Tec which was hanging on the wall. Well I've never heard so much BS in my life. To hear him talk the DP was complete garbage and the Kel-Tec was so well made that it would practically cook my breakfast for me. When I tried to push back with the reps of the company's for Kel-Tec versus Standard Manufacturing he told me a story about a DP-12 that "blew-up" in his friends face. Funny since at the start of our conversation he thought that Smith and Wesson made the DP. I suggested that he check the forums which might surprise him and he said "I don't do forums". Huh. Then how exactly do you do your research? Take every firearm out to the range and run 50,000 rounds through them (the in-store ones only of course)? Stand outside and poll every gun owner that enters your store? Use an Ouija board? Well, I guess it's time to stop dragging my feet and find somewhere else in the area that won't try to shove their stock down my throat. read more

This store was recommended to us by a member of Wilmington PD and I am glad we took their advice to shop here. Staff is friendly and the gentleman we worked with, Carl (might be the owner according to other reviews), was exceptionally knowledgeable. As for Covid - all of the employees and guests were in masks; plexiglass is set up at the counters. There is a limited number of shoppers allowed in at a time but it is a small shop, so proximity to others is a given. Highly suggest you bring your own hand sanitizer and wear a legit mask (vs homemade) if you are high risk and can not avoid going into the store. Excellent service, good prices, and decent selection. Best shop in the area. Every time I've been there for a purchase or browsing the staff couldn't have been more helpful. All this while the shop is extremely crowded and a line in the parking lot. Carl and everyone else I've dealt with have been helpful with any questions I've had. There is no pressure to buy and they spend as much time with you as you need. During the rush of sales of ammo and firearms they didn't care about crowding people in the store elbow to elbow. They took money made a sale on a firearm but because Fed site down at that moment they still sold firearm and said they'd call me couple days to pick it up. The product in store in stock, took almost $500 from me and then closed down during this isolation time. They first said 4/7 on website but now 5/4. Absolutely zero calls to customers with money already paid but with zero goods in return for that money You are a business and if you thought possibly you may shut down, you call the customer immediately, whom u took money from, and ask them to come down and pick up goods. Or offer them option of a refund. Do you think people are buying firearms for AFTER all this isolation is over?? Do you think you have a right to someone's money but gave zero goods in return? You had days and days before it was recommended a stay at home rule. Plenty of time to clear anything pending. So you basically did some bad business dealings just to grab the sale. Just an excuse using all this isolation hype to do bad business. I'll not recommend whatsoever. Not to mention I was dumped by one sales guy to another so they could grab more sales on firearms. Total lack of care on customer. Oh I forgot, big rush time for them! They needed more sales in an overcrowded shop before closing time. Elbow to elbow. Disgraceful the lack of concern for patrons not to mention themselves just to grab more sales. The way the sale was handled was a nightmare. Here we are supposed to be social distancing and you allow your store to be head to head with people grabbing ammo, supplies and trying to buy firearms. Lines out the door and after hours of waiting near closing time you allow all in at once. I had no choice to be crammed in as there were so many in the store. Was disgusting actually. No control. Been coming here for awhile now to purchased my firearms goods. They try to move as many people in and out for being busy. Most staff seemed quite friendly. But today a young guy waited on me, I'll say that I was given Zero customer service while I was there. In the beginning I was on the line and I'm the next one up, this young staff just looked over my head when to the person behind me and said can I help you, person behind me he's pointing at me and said he's next, I said in the same times I asked, can you see me? I'm the one next on line. So this young staff started to wait on me, I ask him I saw a firearms online on your main page for sale, he walk to the next staff, he coming back to me said sold, no problem and I said, I saw the second one I like also, he told me to going over the the show cases look for it, so I did when over looking for the gun I wanted, next 20 minutes when by, he started talking on the phone and after he never comes back to me. I just said to my self if you don't like your job or you don't like people why you work for a job to dealing with customers, why don't you just found a job to work in a warehouse something. anyway I won't just stop coming here because of you, next times if happens this young staff wait on me I will just going to someone else. read more

Traffic was a Friday afternoon nightmare and I finally got there at 5:55. At first, they said they were closed, but the owner, Carl, told his staff to go home, he'd handle the sale. Two other guys stayed with him and like a well-seasoned pit crew, we had the paperwork and sale done and were out the door in record time! I window shopped handguns at Bass Pro but their prices at easily $100-110 more than FS Guns, so I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted and didn't waste their time. He went out back and asked if they still had it. Came back and told me it had sold. The web site still had it listed and was updated earlier in the day. This is not the first time I have had issues with the web listings. I would not trust their web site one bit. Then the salesmen tried to sell me something more expensive. My husband went in to buy a gun so I just hung out in the tiny store while he did what he did. I can say the place is super small. Not much bigger than a large ladies room. You need to take a number and wait to get served so it was busy. The guy who helped us (my husband) was super nice and super helpful. I bought my first firearm at Four Seasons and have been going back ever since. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. They also have a extensive inventory of new and used weapons, tons of ammo and various other accessories. The only drawback is that due to the time required to do paperwork and a federal background check they don't have time for idle chit chat not related to the topic at hand. I never felt rushed although doing one's homework on line prior to walking in makes things much smoother. Just about every time I go in I hear the staff explaining to a first time buyer about things like recoil, arm fatigue, etc to ensure their first exposure was a good one. read more

The place has deals, like any other gun store, on ammunition and firearms. High volume. Four Seasons is always packed, too crowded and a little chaotic.
