I went there for a flat tire and they were very kind and efficient. I've been looking for a new go to auto shop and I believe that I have found it. Great job! Thank you. read more

The guys at Precision Tire in Gold Beach are all nice and eager to answer questions about your vehicle. Besides that, the service I've received on my 1989 Ford F250 has been nothing short of terrible. I had my truck towed there over 2 months ago and despite repeated calls to check in, it remains parked out back without being worked on. They did attempt to start it apparently but that's as far as things went. I've been assured that "the guys will get to it" Or "we're waiting on parts" but still it sits. I hate to think that it is not being worked on because it's an older vehicle but I have no doubt plenty of other vehicles have come and gone while my truck sits parked and forgotten. Once I find another mechanic in Gold Beach the truck will be towed again to someone who will give it (and me) a little respect. read more

My husband had a bad experience with his boat couple years ago. They left it outside in the rain without a top on it.

No, their service sucks and I would have no confidence in their installation of new tires.

Traveling the Oregon Coast is somewhat remote, and when I noticed a screw head sticking out of one of my tires, I had gotten nervous to say the least. Fortunately I found Precision Performance open, and although very busy, had time to squeeze us in and look at the tire. Fortunately the screw was not that long and the tire damage was insignificant. Would highly recommend this friendly & family owned business without a second thought! read more

I have lived in 22 States and have NEVER experienced such an outstanding auto repair shop. Thorough. Communicative. Friendly. Honest. Competent. Not adjectives I would use to describe most businesses. Wow! read more

We were out of towners on spring break when my check engine light came on. We came to precision performance around 11 am unsure if they would be able to fit us in. They did and got us on our way in two hours. I am beyond grateful to the kind and considerate staff that fixed us up and sent us on our way! Sending virtual flowers. Thank you so much. read more

I have never been this disappointed. I dropped my car off and was asked if it would be ok to leave it overnight. This was December 21st. Simply stated I just wanted it back to enjoy the snow. 3 weeks later I go to check on it (never was I even quoted an estimate). When I get to their shop my vehicle is in the back parking lot full of water. It was literally raining in my car. Andy (I believe) stated that he had asked someone to take care of the issue but he couldn't get the door open. What kind of shop is this? Tim...I expect this to be rectified. read more

I was only a few days into a coastal drive from Northern California to Washington when the automatic door locks on all 4 doors of my VW Eurovan camper became nonfunctional. I called Point S Precision Performance, and they agreed to look into my problem. Within an hour, I was back on the road with my locking mechanisms again functioning. I am so grateful to Tim and Mark for taking the time to address my issue and fix it so quickly. The shop is top notch!! I highly recommend this business. read more

My son was driving along the coast from NorCal to Seattle when his clutch failed. Tim and his team stayed late for two nights to get the car fixed and my son back in the road. Couldn't be more appreciative of how the work they did. Even picked my son up at his hotel when the car was ready. read more

These guys are the best I have EVER dealt with in my lifetime and I have been around awhile. The most important thing for travelers to know passing through or visiting Gold Beach and need automotive repair, is that they are as honest as the day is long. The quality of their work is without question always excellent. read more

If it were possible, I would give Tim Harding (owner) 20 thumbs up. I have known Tim for over 20 years, I'm 76 , I've live in Gold beach for almost 50 of those yrs., so I know all of his competitors just as long, or longer. Show me one Mech. that will come in Saturday (on his day off ), and do the work himself , tie up one hold bay for near a month, ( old Oldsmobile 1968 ) when he found he couldn't get parts, he repaired them. One other thing, I believe he charge me no labor. No words can totally express my gratitude, and I know Grandma in heaven (she bought this car new) is as happy as I am. I'll forever be thankful. Good experience with these folks. They helped us on the weekend, quickly and at a fair price.

Had two trips there First one wrong part. Second time part in and I got in and out fast. Will be going back when I have a problem. Price is right and I got everything but breakfast served. Thanks Scott and Tim read more

Requested four specific tires a month ago that they listed online. Went in last week to have them installed but they only had two but did not tell me until I came back to pick up the car. Still have not heard back regarding the other two and have given up on them. The desk person I communicated with twice used an obscenity both times. Not very professional. read more

My daughter is on a 3,200 mile bicycle ride for charity ( greaterthangraves.com), from Anchorage, AK to San Francisco, CA. The support vehicle loaded with spare tires, water, food, etc. which is being driven by my wife had the water pump go on it while in the Gold Beach area. Tim at Precision Performance not only went out of his way to fix the Jeep and get the team back on their way, but he also loaned them the use of one of his vehicles. On behalf of the Greater Than Graves team, we wish to thank Tim and his crew for the unbelievable customer support and workmanship. We recommend their services to anyone who might be in his area. read more

Auto problems on the road suck, esp. if your only service option is in a small town -- you are at their mercy and it inspires anxiety. On a recent trip to Gold Beach, my check engine light came on and i noticed the car lurching a bit uphill and at lower speeds. I brought it into a service location in Medford and they misdiagnosed the problem as a cylinder misfire and sold me an ignition coil that wasn't needed. When i got to Gold Beach i realized i was not going to try drive 9 hours home with this problem, so brought it to Precision. Tim was fantastic -- they dropped me off at my place, took my car on the road, scoped the electrical system and realized that it was a bad ground and THAT was what was throwing up the cylinder misfire (and other ersatz) errors. Fixed and charged me for three hours of labor. Drove home with zero problems and made it in 8 hours :-). Guys like Tim and business like Precision restore my faith in humanity and customer service. Bring your cars and trucks here. read more
