Some really beautiful items. Granted, it is not a fancy gallery, and a bit run-down. But the artwork is wonderful. The highlight for me were several carvings by Eddie Apodaca, a member of the Coast Salish Nation who comes from a family of carvers. He was trained by Jacob Lewis and Earl Lewis, and has clearly come into his own based on the intricacies and detail level of his work. The amazing thing about this gallery is the pricing - they have a very wide variety of custom pieces at prices that are well below what you would find in similar galleries in the Vancouver area that perhaps have fancier carpeting or background music playing instead of a TV blasting on some bad movie. This gallery is a diamond in the rough. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through on your way to Whistler!

Awesome response from Corse ------------- ORIGINAL POST Have been here twice in the last few months and both time the staff were friendly and helpful. This time we rented two bikes with my Girlfriend and when my back was on stand getting the pedals put on I noticed the chain was caked in dirt. I didn't say anything assuming they knew what they were doing. When the bike came off I checked the brakes and they felt pretty worn to me with late engagement. I asked the guy who had it on stand and he said they were good to go. We then drove over to half Nelson and the second I rode the bike I noticed that the top click on the shifter would bring the chain off the top chain ring forcing me to get off and fix it. I then had to be careful not to shift past top chain ring but it turned out top chain ring actually skipped under load so I had to go one down from that. When I got back to shop I told them bike needed major tune up to which the same person that had it on stand said well you had fun right? Which I said yes I did and then he sent us on our merry way. I would've expected an apology and a discount given bike was clearly not serviced or even checked before we rented it.

Great Services | Great Products $$…read more Climbers will be thankful to have this store in downtown Squamish. They have anything you need to rock climb and enjoy the outdoors. Great selection of climbing gear and books/guides, and their selection of climbing shoes is awesome! I've never heard of some of the climbing apparel brands before, like, E9, so that was neat to see that they carry a bunch of items. They have a couple racks for sale items, too. Like most outdoor shops, prices are pretty expensive. But, I think the two dollar sign is accurate. In the back is a little section dedicated to used gear. I didn't find anything that really caught my eye though. They offer crashpad rentals!! $20 for the Metolius and $25 for the Organic pads (per day). Pretty fast and easy process to rent: pick a pad, they hold onto your credit card info until you give back their pads (you can pay cash, too), and then upon returning your pad they'll cut up your card info. Chill store. Good resource.

I was asking her about bouquets and saw an older woman doing a beautiful arrangement and said it was just beautiful. That woman looked harried and stressed. I get it. Even though this was not Valentine's Day or any holiday. Anyhow that same older woman walked past me in a hurry towards the back and yelled back at us that she wouldn't be able to have any bouquets ready until 4:00. She yelled this comment super loud and in a very annoyed, put out tone. I was taken aback and commented to the nice girl who was helping me that I would not be getting that woman to help me with anything; I would pick my flowers and take them in hand. I felt very uncomfortable and very humiliated. I would have walked right out but the girl who was helping me was so sweet and, I wanted flowers. I would like to say this is not the first time this woman has treated me like this.
