They provided great service and even checked my oil ducts (?) which no other optometrist ever checked. Marisol and Dr. Spearing (sp)? were great and able to accommodate me when my insurance was ending.

I went to Plato's closet today to try to get rid of some of my cloths i hardly ever wear. I did…read morenot know you needed an ID to do so. I had a picture of my ID front & back and I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask if that would work. I go up to the counter and ask nicely. As the employee tried to help me out another employee yelled from across the store "I told you that you need a real ID". I looked at her and walked away To not cause a scence more than she already did. That employee Ashley was not being professional and being rude the whole time I was there. Even talking about me as I walked out the door. BAD CUSTOMER SERVIC.

I am writing as a seller. I brought gently used and even some new clothing to the store. I called…read moreahead of time to learn about their process and what items they were currently accepting. I was told to bring in everything as it is an all-season store. So, I brought in six bags (four were smaller Walmart size bags) with unworn dresses, new leather sandals (it's nearly summer), and a few clean, unstained items I thought would sell well. I was told it would take an hour for them to review my items. That was fine--except I asked them what I should do if it took longer because I needed to be home in an hour and a half when my children got off the bus. They said if I wasn't back to pick up my items before the end of the day the offer for any of them would be gone and they would donate them. They said it was "their system," and they couldn't do anything to get around it. People run systems last I checked, machines are not in charge. When I suggested other options (can I come first thing tomorrow) if they weren't done in an hour, my suggestions were batted down with increasing irritation. I couldn't come back later because of my daughter's baseball game. It was very frustrating and would not have been an issue had it all been explained to me over the phone when I'd called earlier. I chose to gamble, and they did get my items sorted. They chose to take ONE item-- a pair of Old Navy shorts with the tag still on them. I can't prove it was out of spite. I hope not. I like supporting small businesses, but I could read the room and that felt weirdly personal. I suppose that's their right. It's also my right to let people know about my experience so you can make an informed choice.

Everything is ridiculously over priced. Saw online that they had a pair of shoes in store I had…read morebeen wanting so I came down at 830 and wandered around the shoe department until about 850 and NOONE came to check on me up until about 858 when I was already walking out a lady rudely asks if I needed help because they were closing in 2 minutes. I said no I didn't find what I was looking for I stood around by the shoes for almost 30 minutes but thanks anyways. She then " escorted me " to the door like what?? was I gonna book it back in? Nooooo Not to mention the shoes are so unorganized everything is mixed up. Idk why I keep coming to this store I leave disappointed and empty handed every time but hey at least my wallet is still happy. I'll just order online directly next time. Just moved to Yakima and stopped by the store for some items for home repair. My first impression…read morewas the store was much bigger then other stores I have been in and was instantly drawn to the bbq section which i'm an avid fan of. The bbq section is huge with everything you can think of including beef tallow!! While perusing the section, I was approached by an employee named Zach who asked if he could help me find anything. I asked about Meat Church rub and he took me to where they not only had Meat Church but a huge variety of rubs and sauces. I then asked Zach a question thinking I already knew the answer to. Back story: I'm in the market for a RecTec pellet grill and many Ace stores in the midwest and east coast carry them but I have never seen them in the PNW. I knew that this store didn't have any RecTec's on the floor and assumed they didn't have any but I had to ask, and asked Zach about RecTec's. His eyes lit up and he told me they just had their first order of RecTec's arrive and would be putting them on the floor very soon. Long story short, Zach was incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable about all things bbq and low and slow. After asking him for his card, I learned he was the bbq section specialist and I can see why. I truly enjoyed my time speaking to Zach and walked away gaining some new found knowledge from him. This store has everything you can think of and frankly, I have never seen another Ace quite this big. They had everything you could think to include a section for home brewing beer! We are renting temporarily to learn the area before buying a home but trust me when I say that this Ace will be my home store and I will drive 30+ minutes if I have to, to shop at this store. I will soon be buying my RecTec grill from this store and i'm super excited I got to meet Zach.

It's like 50 years ago in terms of customer service. They have a wide variety of products. Speaking of the checkout, they have a variety of candies, much better than most convenience stores.
