The exam for new glasses was fine. No issues other than new providers and no personal history…read more When the new glasses arrived, NOTHING was right. I've worn glasses or contacts for 64 years. Immediately I could tell they were not right - only explanation: one eye was vastly different from last time, but even the other eye was wrong. I was told to wear them for 2 weeks, then come back if I couldn't get used to them. But I couldn't wear them for even 2 hours - reading, driving, seeing my husband across the table - nothing was good. So I went back, vision checked again, glasses "match the prescription", told to see someone else for cataracts. Still another 10 days to wait to see that specialist- and then more time to wait after that for surgery - IF recommended. In the meantime, I cant see - not with new glasses or with previous 2 prescriptions. I've done all I can. This review is the result.

Dr. Ehlers met with me for pre op in April and explained the procedure both pros and cons. My right eye will be operated on this next week and I hope it will go as smoothly. My regular eye doctor will have an appointment with me about three more times each two weeks apart to make sure the healing process goes smoothly and if anything unexpected occurs they can catch it immediately. It was highly evident from the start that Dr. Palhegyi respects her staff, and that they respect her, and together they respect their customers. In fact, they go way beyond this in friendliness and cordiality. Like most, I am especially hesitant to trust dentists after having experienced quite a bit of less than stellar service in the past. Let me just say that Dr. Palhegyi won my trust from the very beginning. She is amazing in every way, from her chair-side manner to her expertise in selecting and using the most advanced equipment. I didn't really believe the idea of pain-free dentistry, but what they say was all true. I seriously did not even feel the injections. This is as pain-free as it is going to get. Selah Creek got me in that afternoon, literally in under 1 hr and were able to replace the crown with the new cubic zirconium NC machine produced tooth in one visit. I even got to watch the NC machine produce the tooth. As an engineer that was very interesting to witness on a tooth. Prisma was my dental tech and just a pleasure to chat with while I waited for the machine to finish. It was the most painless Crown I ever had done and I think it was less and 2.5 hrs start to finish. And no return appointment needed. Its going on 4 years now and I still have not had any issues with the tooth Selah Creek said needed a crown. However, every tooth Selah Creek previously worked on has had to be redone. Not a single filling or crown has popped out of place with my new dentist. Personally I believe Dr. McKay is an opportunist. Its unfortunate so many dentists are like this these days
