We signed our son up for this camp and he enjoyed the first week. We then had to pull him out because they didn't have room for him for 2 months. We found another solution and had called to cancel our membership. We were told the membership was canceled and all set. We then received a charge of $230 after we canceled so we called again. We were told that someone missed something and that it was now for sure canceled. We receive another $230 charge so we call again. We were told it was a mistake and that they had notes it was canceled. We wait a week and now we are being followed up with and saying we have to cancel formally via this form. I'm sure there will be another $230 charge any day now. Complete and utter incompetence at your business. read more

I love this school. My son has been going here almost a year now. He started with the summer camp in 2020, then enrolled in weekly lessons, and is now in black belt training. My daughter recently enrollment in weekly lessons as well and loves it! The instructors are so friendly and do a great job keeping the kids engaged. The kids do exercises, learn valuable life lessons, and learn self defense. Mr. Harris has been so helpful in helping my son come out of his shell and be more outgoing. Well our whole family was really excited to come in for the kids introduction class. Unfortunately we didn't stick around to find out much past that. The unprofessional behavior and poor communication led to us walking out. We stood by the counter for nearly ten minutes while we waited for the class to start. Finally someone asked if we were there for introduction classes, we confirmed filled out the waiver form and waited some more. Then they started the class without coming and talking to my son or me. We were standing right next to the mat with no attempt made to even welcome a 4 year old to the class. I'll add I wasn't impressed by the teenager instructor that has a black belt but had to interrupt his class to correct his poor technique. What a disappointment. read more

Pros - it is very kid friendly place and they have some good staff who are great with kids. The threshold for passing to the next belt is a little light, mostly based on attendance, but they do a good job making it seem like they have harder requirements and that does give the kids a sense of accomplishment. Cons - Be very careful with the owner. He will try to pass himself off as an honest broker, but he should not be trusted. I began with the gym by purchasing a pre-paid deal over two years. In my second stint on that deal, my kids decided they wanted to try to a different class (in addition to their Karate class). I asked the owner if that was included in the package. After a couple weeks he finally got back and said I had to pay for the addition. I asked if I could pay up front until the end of my current deal (about 15 months) and receive a similar discount. His response was that he could not make that decision, his partner made all decisions like that (which turned out to be a lie). Later I was speaking with another parent, and he informed me that because he bought the pre-paid plan (same plan and year as I did) he does not have to pay for any additional classes that his child takes. The owner saw an opportunity to take advantage of the fact that I did not know about the extra class inclusion and took that opportunity. Which is ironic because so many of their lessons to the kids are based on acting with integrity. Summary: There are some good things for the kids at this place and some good people who work there. But if you sign up, be very careful with the owner. Get EVERYTHING in writing. read more

This place has it all! It's the only martial art place I know that gets professionally cleaned and sanitized on a monthly basis. So I don't have to worry about my kids getting sick or dirty like other places I have seen. Plus it's one of the few family friendly environments that has helped all of my kids gain the confidence they need for all their other activities, like school, sports, band and being all around helpful and great citizens. The staff is friendly and helpful. Many of the instructors come from the best students. Master Gilbart has created a consistent and inspiring program that will help the youth grow into great adults! read more

I'm very disappointed in this school. My very young child was enrolled there for several months, until an incident with a certain instructor who roughly manhandled my child and another young student out of obvious impatience and frustration. I saw this happen with my own eyes. This instructor, who occasionally taught the class, always stood out to me as rougher the younger students, less patient and jovial than the other instructors who conversely have been quite good with the children. I've actually heard another parent voice the same concern weeks prior. The incident with my child drew the line. I don't feel the school proactively followed up to resolve the issue after I immediately addressed it with a senior instructor / manager. I was given assurances of a resolution and a promise of a call back in a few days to further asses the situation, but that never happened so I permanently pulled my child out of the school. Ultimately the schools' lack of follow up and blazè response to the incident is inexcusable to me and proved I cannot entrust my child to them. read more

PMA is great! My teenager is a completely different kid since he started at Precision Martial Arts. The instructors are caring and take time for each student. I definitely recommend the teen class as Mr Harris is a great role model and pushes his students to do their best. read more

The staff at PMMA is fantastic. The instructors have come up through the ranks and developed their leadership skills under the watchful eye of Master Gilbart. The physical skills the kids learn are valuable. Not only physical fitness, but they learn what to do if approached or attacked by a stranger. But the course of instruction isn't just about fighting. There are lessons about honesty, respect, self esteem, loyalty, etc.... We've had our kids there for almost 3 years at the time of this writing. They've attended the Summer Program 2 years in a row. There are daily Martial arts classes, but there are also lots of other different activities like trips to the swimming pool, movies, museums...really great, engaging stuff. read more

This place is as good as it gets. The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly and the workouts are challenging. We decided to become members of Precision because our kids. This is the best program a child can get into if you are trying to improve their self-confidence, personal discipline and respect for others. This place is awesome! Master G is great with young kids, older kids and adults, the instructors are very professional and helpful, and Precision mentors the older/higher ranking kids so that they can learn leadership and instructional skills. Both of my kids went here for many years, have helped with the summer kids camp, and one works there now. I started going last year when Precision offered an adult fitness class and have been going ever since! Great atmosphere, family friendly, excellent work outs! Yes, it does get sweaty and a little dirty by the end of the day, but that is because everybody is getting a great work out! They thoroughly clean the studio every night! :) read more

I couldn't be happier. Mr. G, and all of his instructors and staff, are awesome. They are patient, and kind, but still keep the kids in line. Both of my children attend here, and they are loving everything they have learned , and are excited to excel! I had enrolled my son when he had lost his voice and confidence due to bullying. Not only did the skills he learned and new friends he made give him confidence in daily life, but he was able to stand up to the boy by using his words (not his fists) all thank's to the support from the staff at Precision! read more

I would HIGHLY recommend staying clear of this establishment. The high pressure sales and "locked-in" contract scenarios are bad enough, but then your contract is "sold" to a scam artist company that is ALL over the internet with criminal allegations and scam-alerts. My grandson left the school in June, PMA was notified and their billing company was notifed, yet the charges marched on for the next 3 months. PMA leaves their business end in the hands of others they have no clue whats going on inside their finances. Poor quality, poor choice. We pay for 3 mos of classes with no kid involved, I am so mad about this and we are stuck, there is nothing we can recoup. read more

We love the staff at Precision! Our son has been a student over a year and has loved it. The Black Belt Training Program has been a positive experience for us and our son. I decided to start the Krav Maga class in February and have loved it! I have lost 35 pounds since I started and it has been fun! My family feels blessed to have found Master Gilbart, and all the Amazing, Caring Instructors and fellow Martial Artist that train at Precision Mixed Martial Arts. Our 10 year old son has been training in Martial Arts, since the age of 4. To our surprise, his previous Karate School ( this is the first and only school our son trained at, since the beginning) notified parents that the Karate School would be shutting down for good. We were told not even a week before they closed. Needless to say, the children were heartbroken. But then we stepped into Precision Mixed Martial Arts and met Master Gilbart and some of his Instructors, as well as, students. There was a nice, warm friendly vibe. We asked Master Gilbart questions, to see if this school would be a good fit for our son. A few classes later, we were so grateful/happy that our son felt like part of the Precision Mixed Martial Arts Family.
