In return, so far, Bullhead Excavating's Wyatt moved a shed for us, graded some land for us, removed a lot of trees and stacked them, and even was able to facilitate some gravel delivery for our driveway- all from different times contacting them! They were far less than other companies, and they didn't even charge a "mobilization" fee as we were close enough to Spirit Lake, they were able to drive there within 15 minutes. He came right out to look at my property when I called, and seems readily available anytime I call for more work, even giving us better ideas than we had in the first place. I recommend them over any "new" businesses that just moved to the area, as they seem to only have one piece of equipment and like to take advantage of out of state types that may have more money than locals. I'll be calling them for the foreseeable future.

End of April 2025, I hired Landscape Pros to install a back yard for me. The owner Josh came to my…read morehouse and gave me a bid to level the back yard, bring in top soil, install curbing, hydroseed, gravel and a sprinkler system. He quoted me a price which after getting several bids I thought was fair and reasonable. Once the work was completed Josh informed me he needed to raise my bid $150.00 for "extra" work that was done. What the extra was I am not sure. A few weeks into May I started noticing that the sprinkler system was not covering the full yard. Some areas were flooding while other areas were not getting any water at all. I contacted Josh and asked him to come back and adjust the sprinklers. He sent one of his guys over and after discussion he removed one of the sprinkler heads that was causing flooding. He adjusted the other sprinkler heads, but still the yard was not getting coverage. I asked him to come back a second time when I noticed water bubbling out of the ground. They had poured concrete on top of a sprinkler head. By this time the grass was dead and I had to bring in more top soil and reseed. Several of the sprinkler heads were buried so far into the ground that they could not pop up over the curbing. By this time I was getting pretty frustrated when my sprinkler would not shut off. The valve box was full of water, a third time I asked Josh to come out and fix the leaking valve. Which I am told he did, however the leaking didn't stop. On the fourth request to fix the sprinkler problems I was told I was watering too much, and water was "splashing into the valve box" Really??? I am a women but I am not stupid. Four or five times I requested that Josh come and fix the problems and I always received a text "once my guys are free" it is now the end of August. I ended up hiring someone else to correct all the issues that Josh and Landscape Pros have caused. The people I hired to fix the sprinkler said the manifold and valves that were installed by Landscape Pros were old and possibly used. The manifold was cracked and leaking water, which if it was new (installed in May) it shouldn't be that damaged. Landscape Pros have no attention for detail and the work was very sloppy, in addition if a landscape company is going to take full advantage of a single widow you need to ask yourself if you really want to hire them.

Home owners and contractors beware; The owner of this company, Chris Welling did not perform. His…read moresales rep made promises that Chris didn't keep. The job was promised to be done in one day maybe two. It took 5 days. It's the old bait and switch, the bait is the mature sales representative who is a very professional man, the switch is a crew of very young people that are very non professional. After the ground was prepared to lay down the sod, only a portion of the sod was installed and then they left and returned the next day to finish. By the time they finished, the first sod they layed was drying out and turning brown. They left the sprinkler heads covered with sod, so I turned off the system so not to wash out the sod covering the sprinkler heads. I watered by hand that evening and the next morning. When they came back to finish, they cut the sod away from the sprinkler heads but left 3 covered that they didn't see. So I cut them out myself. One sprinkler head cap was missing that was there before they started. When I pointed it out to the worker ( the owners brother ), he told me where to purchase another one, but did not offer to do the work, suggesting that I do it myself. They crushed 7 feet of my flagstone walkway with there ditchwitch. They did repair it but it doesn't look the same. I'm a senior citizen and I believe that they didn't give any regard to that. This company, in my opinion, is dishonest and dosen't seem to care about quality or taking care of the customer. As far as I'm concerned I feel like this was elder abuse. I would never reccomend this company to anyone. In my opinion they are non professional, I had to loan them tools because they were ill prepared for the task at hand, but I didn't mind, I was happy to help. Chris the owner lacks integrity. He seems to have a hidden agenda that I think is to overcharge and under perform and to get in and out as fast as possible. After the job was finished and paid for I didn't get a thank you of any kind. Also Chris lacks communication skills and doesn't return calls or texts. I'm certain that he has a rebuttal to everything I've said. Bottom line is that I'm a very unhappy customer. I am a survivor of throat cancer and I saved money for 3 years to pay for the lawn to be installed. The one and only shinning light is the sales representative Robert Savage, who is no longer there. He was there every step of the way. And expressed great concern for the job and for my happiness. And offered to come back, dig out and replace the sprinkler head that is missing its cap. Thank you Mr. Savage. So here's an update. After 3 weeks and being told that the seams will fill in and the grass will green up the last 5 photos show that the grass is still looking bad and the seams are still showing.

Now we have to get somebody out here because the pavers are sinking so bad. It's not even safe to be in our pool. Caps are coming off. They admitted they should've not have glued them, but never came back to fix them. six of them already came off. We spent a six figure number on this job. He took more than he was supposed to of our money. He's not a man of his word. I know this is his old website so people may not see it, but here's my number if you'd like to talk to me 208-446-8866. You are welcome to give me a call and come over and look at their work in my backyard. They even used my pictures in their new website, which we did not approve. From a distance the yard looks great up close another story. They're just a bunch of young kids stealing people's money making it sound like they know it all. They were already caught on Ring talking about the boss saying oh why don't we do what Krista does why don't we YouTube it and see how we can lay Pavers!!!
