Glenn is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and was extremely diligent in performing the home inspection as well as breaking things down for me along the way to make sure I understood everything he was telling me. We are very thankful to Glenn who put together a 40+ page detailed home inspection report for us to review. We were extremely happy we went with Glenn and are appreciative of the service he provided!

As someone making the second home purchase of my life, I can honestly say I barely remember the…read moreinspection for my first home--but I won't forget this one. Glenn Helder is a true professional who raises the bar for what a home inspection should be. From the moment he arrived, his thoroughness and calm, pleasant demeanor made me feel confident I was in expert hands. His responsiveness leading up to the inspection and quick turnaround on the final report were also a breath of fresh air during a fast-moving process. But what truly stood out was Glenn's sage and honest advice. He identified major short-term costs that I hadn't initially factored in--costs that would have been financially and emotionally taxing had I gone forward blindly. Thanks to his insight, I was able to walk away from a potentially burdensome purchase. Beyond that, Glenn provided thoughtful recommendations for long-term upgrades and preventative fixes that felt more like guidance from a seasoned contractor than a typical home inspector. His depth of knowledge went well beyond a checklist and truly felt like a partnership. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in his work, communicates clearly, and genuinely cares about his clients' well-being, Glenn is your guy. I'd recommend him a hundred times over.

Matthew responded quickly, 2. They got great reviews on Yelp, 3. They were willing to give me a great price bc the home was small. I'm so glad we made the decision to try them out. Matthew was extremely flexible during the process of booking the inspection. I also found it so convenient that we communicated via text. He sent a contract several days before the inspection via email and I was able to e-sign. Another great convenience! Not only was Matthew prompt, he arrived at the home early. He went over the process and explained everything in detail. He didn't rush the inspection and we felt he was very thorough. He answered our questions and gave great advice all around. We have paid for home inspections before (this would be our 4th time) and we felt this was our best experience yet. We received the documentation from the inspection several hours ago and the inspection was this morning! It was full of pictures, explanations and recommendations. We had some questions so we called and he was available to answer them without any hesitation. Knowledgeable, professional and reliable with true customer service in mind. The report had explanations and solutions to the problem areas and it was easy to navigate through. Highly recommend for his professionalism, expertise and efficiency.

Jason is the AMAZING master electrician behind Optimum Electrical Services. My husband and I were…read moreinitially recommended to Optimum Electrical Services through positive referrals I found within a local, online community group (Suffolk County - Smithtown area). Needless to say, we are ecstatic to have connected with him because it's always great to have a local electrician nearby that can be trusted to provide great services AND who is available to work within a reasonable timeline! Having already met with a bunch of other electricians (whose estimates were unreasonable, whose schedules weren't actually "open," or who simply never responded to us when we reached out or followed up), we found Jason to be a "cut above the rest!". Jason has always greeted us with friendliness and great professionalism. He is a focused worker who also shows patience with inquisitive customers (like me!) I have oftentimes spoken to him while he has been working; he never makes us feel like we are "interrupting;" he openly explains the different aspects of the labor involved with the job and is able to chat and work simultaneously while still being extremely productive! We have welcomed him into our home on several occasions. On his first visit, he installed wiring and mounts for two large (65" and 75") televisions, including the installation of new quad outlets to accommodate the (future) addition of a soundbar. Most recently, he helped us to "say goodbye" to some old, ugly ceiling mounted light fixtures and installed new, wifi-enabled ceiling fans in their place(s). We absolutely love that Jason, since he lives locally, has been available to help us with our projects: within days of our initial call! Lastly, because Jason is fully licensed, he willingly to provided me with a copy of his license as well as a copy of his proof of insurance ("Certificate of Insurance") when I asked for this information. The fact that Jason shared this information so willingly (and without any awkward hesitation) gave us great peace of mind as new homeowners. We wholeheartedly recommend Jason; he truly is an amazing person who offers fair, reasonable prices for his labor and expertise. Additionally, he has always been respectful of our home and cleans up after he works. He even offers to take off his shoes and/or brings "booties" to ensure that people's homes are respected! At the end of each service, he provides the customer with an itemized "paid" receipt, which is sent to the email of your choice! If you live in Suffolk County, definitely consider calling Optimum Electrical Services for your residential electrical needs! This company is FRAUD!!!!!!! Please read!!!…read more This is CK HOME DESIGN & REMODELING!!!!! Please do not use them. We found them through yelp and contacted them. Keith came by and gave us a quote by the end of the day. It was reasonable pricing so we went through with it. It was supposed to be done by 11/22 but nothing was done so we called them. They said we have to pay another $2500 otherwise they won't finish the project. After a long communication, we agreed cause we have faith that they're stil a legit business but NO THEY SCAMMED US!!!! It's 11/26 today and that was the new due date and nothing has been done. NOTHING!!!!!! They ignored our calls and emails and completely vanished. They're racist and a complete fraud. We already have contacted our attorney and starting our claims through small business claims and also filing legal complaints. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!! Please also contact me if you experienced something similiar!!! The owner is responding to the post but not their emails or phones. THIS IS TO THE OWNER KEITH ROBERTS! We are willing to drop all the charges, all we want is our HARD EARNED MONEY BACK! We are not even asking for any time compensation or anything. Please mail us back the deposit, this is all we are asking for. THE owner replied back to another post (that's not even relevant to me) saying that "I should learn my lesson" and admitting that he took my money and ran off! UPDATE: The owner threaten to sue us when we are the victim here. He said "I should learn my lesson". Previously they refuse to start the project because of our previous yelp review. This is our freedom to let other consumer know how we truthfully feel towards the business and it's illegal to tell us to take down our review. We have proofs in writing about this!! He called us names and made us feel so uncomfortable, I'm willing to take this to court and let everyone know about his business ethnic. He has been reported to BBB and I truthfully want everyone to know how this business runs and they have no integrity. They are ignoring our calls and only called my fiancé once to threaten us. I don't even feel safe in my own home because of them now. It's so upsetting and I can't wait for him to "sue" us for posting truthful reviews so I can finally see them in person. This business needs to be terminated and Keith Roberts and his wife Mary needs to stop this!! You're hurting innocent people. 11/27 The owner keep responding back to my post but blocked my number on his cell phone and his wife refused to email me back or pick up my calls. I'm willing to invest my time to update this post continuously because I need justice to be serve and simply ignoring my calls isn't going to make me stop. Keith called us names and used language that should never be used in a professional environment. The project was to cement my backyard and now he's saying "breach of contract" cause weather permitting. I have solid proofs that the weather WAS permitting. It's such non sense that they can just take our money and run off because it's "weather permitting project." It's not anywhere in the contract. This is so upsetting cause the only way for us to hear back from Keith is when he replies back to my comment and sabotaging my personal reference. Please help!
