Don't be fooled. This company is all superficial. I hired Inspecticore for a home I purchased over 1.5 years ago, drawn in by their excellent Yelp reviews. I was willing to pay the higher fee of $800 for a thorough inspection on a $1M+ property. While the inspection itself was comprehensive--lasting a few hours and involving extensive testing and photography--I found there was no direct communication about any issues; I was simply told to wait for the report. As someone who isn't an expert in home issues, I struggled to understand the significance of the findings. Initially, I praised InspectorCore of how comprehensive and the extensive the report is. But now I know it's all superficial. Now, a year and a half later, I've discovered numerous problems that the inspector didn't identify, including visible electrical issues, water damage, and foundational cracks. My electrician even laughed, remarking on how my house passed inspection, while I now face tens of thousands of dollars in repairs to bring everything up to code. If your end goal is to have someone come to take a ton of pictures of your home and have a fancy report - hire them. If your end goal is to have a inspector to tell and show you what are the issues with the property - hire someone else. read more

I used this company to inspect a home I bought. Big mistake. A lot of visual water damage that was over looked and not identified. The flashing on the roof should of been brought to my attention as it lead to the water damage in my house that lead to mold and termites, that will be costing me over $30,000 to repair. Also the water damage in the basement that lead to mold should of been identified as well. As an experienced inspector would of saw. Do not use this company. The roof inspection was insufficient, the person never went on the roof. If they had gone on the roof they would of saw that the roof was in very bad shape. I hired them after interviewing a few providers. They answered all questions and because the house was 7,000 sq feet plus a garage and pool they sent 2 inspectors. Brendan and Chris were friendly, thorough, professional and worked well as a team producing a detailed 100 page report with plenty of pictured to illustrate their observations. They encouraged me to follow along, answered questions about things I saw that worried me that were not a worry as well as made sure to find me and explain things that were and that I should change not because they were in poor shape but as a best practice as a new home owner. im changing the review to reflect the post follow up of the company, not the individual who did the inspection. i would highly recommend not using inspecticore due to the repeated spam calls and emails with offers and adds. on a DAILY basis im called about additional offers. my email is spammed with junk from inspecticore, to the point that i had to create a filter to delete anything that says inspecticore. and heres the bigger concern... it isnt just calls from inspecticore. itll be other agency that say you were reffered by them... pretty much sounds like they either give up your info or sell it to other agencies... again if you plan on using inspecticore... get a temporary fake google number and temporary email to avoid the spam and daily calls... its been 4 months and they still call me daily... ive requested to be removed everytime. read more

Rich Treglia showed up on time but missed a major leak that we were then not able to notice until we moved in and it was so obvious. Just flush and use the shower and the water was dripping from the outside of the house and puddling in the basement. We are disappointed and don't know how it was missed.
