Kelly's was not the cheapest quote, but it was far from the most expensive. It took them a little while to get to my job, but it was worth the short wait -- if they did poor work they wouldn't have a long line of customers! The sales crew, installation crew, and lady on the phone were all very patient and pleasant. I was quite impressed with how much respect the installation crew showed my home and the people in it. There was almost no mess to clean up inside. The final product looks fantastic. I love the windows, I love the the way the installation of the windows appear, and I'm satisfied that I've received a quality job. I've had a few friends in need of windows ask about my experiences with Kelly's and I've encouraged them to strongly consider using Kelly's.

Review of Williamsburg Apple Door systems residential garage door repair on 9/4/2025…read more Called Apple Door Systems on a Tues, tech said he would be there on Thursday between 1 and 3. At 1:00, the tech called and said he would be there in 5 minutes. I live in the Lightfoot area of Williamsburg VA. Tech (JB Stewart) showed up right on time. Super friendly and super knowledgeable. He had all the parts with him and about 30 - 45 minutes later the garage door was fixed. (the spring had broken and he replaced, plus some minor adjustments). I should point out that Apple was the 3rd company I called. The first 2 (ATW and another company whose name escapes me) never returned my calls. I can't comment on Apple pricing, because I wanted my garage fixed ASAP. I paid about $450 to have the springs replaced. I can't say if that's high, low, or average since the other guys never called me back to even give me a price. 5 stars for Apple and JB Stewart.

We interviewed several contractors for the complete demo and remodel of our master bathroom…read more Bancroft was by far the best communicator, the most reliable, and the most reasonably priced. Throughout the six week process of picking out materials, ordering them, and install, Gerald (manager) and Jimmy (owner) were fantastic! In fact, they were so hands on, that the owner even did the majority of install himself. But what really stuck out to us, was when they ran into more damage to the subfloor than anticipated, they did not take that as an opportunity to charge us more, and instead stuck to the original estimate, despite the extra labor. They also were flexible and happily agreed to a few minor cosmetic changes that I suggested during install. The project was done perfectly, and exactly on time. We will definitely use them again for our next project!

They had failed to obtain the proper electrical permits to do the work. I paid $1600.00 for a custom built storage island which appeared to be pre-manufactured made from particle board --certainly not a custom built piece. They failed to install quarter round on the newly tiled floor leaving a visbable gap between the tiles and the baseboards. They installed a shelving unit but the wood did not quite fit to cover the area. When she asked habout this, she was told that they used scrap wood and that was all he had.
