They left their jump box on the battery with two by fours with my battery laying on the side in the back of my car, the battery and alternator been working great since speedometer does not work, they forgot to hook it up. I will not recommend these guys on older vehicles maybe on newer vehicles they can do a better job.

This is a man that cares about his work & his customers…read more I've lived in the Boise area since March & not one friend could give me the name of a trustworthy reasonable mechanic. I tried using Yelp to help find a shop that had high ratings & mostly positive reviews. I had a shop (Walter @ Mac's Automotive) convince me that replacing my rear end assembly instead of rebuilding the differential would be more cost-effective due to labor & parts. Initially quoted me $2300 ($1700 for the rear end) + $500 for 2 sensors that had to be replaced (told me that I had to do all 4). Ended up having Scott tow my truck from that shop to his & I told him what The prior shop had told me. To my surprise, Scott came back that same day quoting me $1300 for the rebuild. Then he mentioned the sensors & expressed their importance but I didn't have to do all 4. All said & done........$1655 out the door! Thank God For Perfection Drivetrain!

By the next day we were on our way and feeling renewed on our adventure! I mentioned certain issues that I've had for at least 5 years. They even wrote it down. I had a witness listen to me YET, they stated that the issue was not checked or on their checksheet as I did not mention it. It was the main reason I took the car in. Also, mentioning I had an oil or some kind of leak for about 20 years, they came back and said, well, if it keeps leaking, we'll do something for a certain hundred dollars. Why wouldn't they fix it at the time, afterall I spent almost $3000 with the ungrateful company. Not only that, the first issue that they said they couldn't find - started to happen when I drove the car home after payment. But told me to bring it back. Still denying anything stated they could fix for another $400. Since it was a holiday, I couldn't go pick up the car for a few days. They threatened to NOT CHARGE overnight fees. How kind (sarcastic remark). Since it was the first issue I mentioned that they denied, we asked for half price for repair. "Russ" wanted to negotiate only a $9 discount. How kind (sarcastic remark again). Although I realize a timing belt is expensive and the other belts replaced, I should have probably just taken the car to the dealership and spent my money there. Maybe if they cared about their customers and their customers autos that they've had for over 20 years, as much as they care about their own cars they mention on their bios. You have to live with what you said and the wool you pulled over this sheep's eyes.
