I live in a 90 year old house with what look to be the original solid brass locks which are…read morebeautiful -- WHEN THEY WORK. They are gigantic and vintage and make a statement. I had a Hell of a time getting them to work and spent a bloody fortune with another firm ending up with one that did not work though it had been worked on numerous times. I hate to imagine how much I spent. I called Sandfly Locksmith and they sent a mechanic to look at it. HE FIXED THE DAMN LOCK on the first try and in half an hour. Most importantly, he fixed discreet shortcomings that required adjustment, parts (good luck finding 90 year old lock parts), and expertise. It required craftsmanship to remove some of the broken parts, but he did it with ingenuity and cleverness. The mechanic also fixed things that required a bit of smash mouth locksmithing. In the end, there were a handful of substantial faults that he corrected in half an hour. He did not just spray some WD-40 in there and say a prayer. I like to recommend vendors, craftsmen, and trades that produce results and I heartily recommend Sandfly Locksmith - Derek was their wizard. I also had a problem with the door not closing correctly and Derek was able to adjust that so that the smart lock worked perfectly. He never attempted to adjust the faulty door. Ignoring my request to adjust the door, he simply sprayed WD-40 all over the place, then left. To make things worse, all of the items near the garaged doors were covered with oil (some ruined), as were the garage floor tiles - which are now stained. My door was not fixed, and the owner of this company refuses to accept resonsibility.

The payment from the moving company for the repair was long in getting to us but they kept the lines of communication open every step of the way.
