He explained what brand of locks we needed based on what locks were already in the doors. He also suggested that we could save money by purchasing the locks and hardware ourselves and then having him install them. He also explained by line item what the individual and total charge would be so there wouldn't be any surprises. We set up an appointment for today, and Kevin kept me apprised throughout the morning as to what his schedule was and when he would be arriving. Once at our house, Kevin completed the work in a timely manner. I couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend Kevin and Precision Entry.

He had to change four locks and he was extremely meticulous !! He filed to make sure the lock worked perfectly in line. More times than not, people only complain, not commend great customer service. Derek was amazing. I had to leave to go back to work, but he offered to drive to where ever I was to hand me the new keys personally. He actually recommended another product than the one I had researched and it turned out to be an excellent solution. I also had a problem with the door not closing correctly and Derek was able to adjust that so that the smart lock worked perfectly. He diligently made sure that we had all the lock codes in order and made us 4-5 extra keys on site at minimal cost. He really knows what he's doing as a locksmith and is also up to date and knowledgeable about smart locks and Internet / home connectivity. His prices are fair and he's one of those people that cares about what he does, giving you the best value and quality you can get. I highly recommend him and enjoyed watching him do the install and also enjoyed his good sense of humor.

I had a Hell of a time getting them to work and spent a bloody fortune with another firm ending up with one that did not work though it had been worked on numerous times. I hate to imagine how much I spent. I called Sandfly Locksmith and they sent a mechanic to look at it. HE FIXED THE DAMN LOCK on the first try and in half an hour. Most importantly, he fixed discreet shortcomings that required adjustment, parts (good luck finding 90 year old lock parts), and expertise. It required craftsmanship to remove some of the broken parts, but he did it with ingenuity and cleverness. The mechanic also fixed things that required a bit of smash mouth locksmithing. In the end, there were a handful of substantial faults that he corrected in half an hour. He did not just spray some WD-40 in there and say a prayer. I like to recommend vendors, craftsmen, and trades that produce results and I heartily recommend Sandfly Locksmith - Derek was their wizard. I was considering abandoning these beautiful old solid brass locks, and now I have the peace of mind they can work forever. Thank you and have a Happy New Year.
