Dr. Tetuan takes a different (and refreshing) approach to treatment than any other Chiropractor I've seen previously. Until finding Adam, every other Chiropractor I've seen has instantly insisted on x-rays, then "diagnosed" me in five minutes, followed by a 30-minutes sales pitch on how I needed to buy a "package" of visits from them so I could come in for treatment three times a weeks for the rest of my life. Adam did none of this: he listened to me, took time to thoroughly evaluate me, arrived at a diagnosis and prognosis, and then presented me a reasonable conservative plan for recovery.
In addition to being an excellent Chiropractor, Dr. Tetuan is one of the nicest people you will ever meet: he's not pretentious, smarmy, or pushy (traits found in many medical professionals); rather, he's humble, kind, funny, and as genuine a human being as you'll ever meet.
I highly recommend Dr. Tetuan!
Side note:
I cannot help but comment on the bogus one star review from the alleged Veronika M.; almost assuredly there is some ulterior motive behind this review. Her claim is that, after a single neck manipulation, she developed chronic neck and back pain. First, we can safely assume that Veronika is not a medical professional; hence, her self-diagnosis cannot be given any weight. Second, she claims she posted her scathing one-star review because she felt she had a "responsibility" to do so (presumably to warn others); however, she posted her review more than ten years--an entire decade!--after the alleged injury; clearly her motive in posting her review is not a benevolent one.
Veronika's claim/contention has serious logic problems. She implies that Dr. Tetuan's single manipulation of her neck is the source of her current neck and back pain; however, she also indicates that after a single course of anti inflammatories her pain went away for more than a year, UNTIL she was in a car accident. So, she was continually without pain for more than a year until she was in a car accident, but pins her pain on Dr. Tetuan, and not the car accident. Preposterous.
As someone in the legal profession I can tell you that Veronika's post smells very much like an ever increasing scam where an unscrupulous patient baits their doctor by posting a scathing online review in the hope that their doctor will post a public response/rebuttal. The unscrupulous patient (who usually makes sure their post overtly mentions "privacy concerns") then claims their doctor's response (which might contain a date of service, or vaguely mention the type of treatment provided) violates HIPPA Privacy Rules. The patient then uses the alleged violation to extort from the doctor some type of cash settlement.
I strongly suggest that Veronika's review be summarily disregarded: at best it is a disjointed, unverifiable, libelous, and weak attempt to sully Dr. Tetuan's good name; at worst it is an attempt to extort money from him.
No one asked me to write this review, I just feel I have a responsibility to defend good providers against the unscrupulous acts of people like Veronika.
