Been go to Dr. Kriss for over a year. He has put an end to my neck and lower back pain.

The gal at the front desk was friendly, but that was the best of it. I wasn't adjusted during my first appointment, I was instead shoved into a room to watch videos, which were pretty cheesy. I would have much rather been given 10 minutes of personal time explaining the process rather than being forgotten about in a room... And yes I was truly forgotten as I had to leave the room to find someone after they told me they would be back before the video was over. I came back the next day to actually be adjusted, which was for the first time ever, and it went just alright, I wasn't sure if it had done anything or not. When I returned 4 or 5 days later for another adjustment I was told by Kriss that I had to relax, which I was having a hard time doing because my overall comfort level in the office was low. He attempted to adjust my neck, but since I was tense it was unsuccessful. Mr. Kriss made me feel as if there was something wrong with me for not being able to relax, I then left his offices with a few small tears. I honestly expected a call from someone in the office considering Kriss, other assistants and the front desk gal all saw me leave distraught. I never received a call, and I never bothered calling or returning. I even paid upfront for appointments that I never completed. This 'doctor' is a joke. I was much better taken care of at Cascades Chiropractic near Petco in Covington, just an extra 3 minutes up the road. read more

Nice smiles and friendly service isn't all that's needed for a business to succeed. What I found here was a nice office, friendly front desk. But on my first visit I I wasn't adjusted and there was way way to much talking about money and setting me up for a prolonged "program" for treatment. On my second visit I spent most my time talking to a Korean guy which I understood very little from, and my adjustment was less than one minute (no loosening me up, not much of anything) and the whole setup around more and more visits and money. I'm going to have to find someone else again.... :( I've been to many chiropractors and I don't think this office is doing it's service correctly. Follow up: I went to Jay Pearson in Kent and what a difference!!! I'm going there for my care from now on. Came in with back pain probably caused by my job and mixed martial arts practice. Phil was able to see me the day I called and got me in for some x rays, after a couple sessions the pain receded and after a couple more I don't even feel pressure in my back any more. It's a 10/10 for me! read more

I experienced the same issues many have listed. I had a wonderful Doctor, but he was there for a short period of time. When I noticed that they had taken an extra payment out of my checking account (they should have taken last payment in August) I asked the girl at the front desk and she told me she didn't know if I was overcharged because she didn't have my account up. Really? I decided to check the insurance charges and found a varied amount charged. I was not aware that adding symptoms to their iPad meant I was being charged for each one! Some charges are 65.00 while others are over 200.00. My deductible remains 15.00 no matter the charge so I had no idea until I checked the insurance records. Did I miss that part when we signed up? Update: they still owe me over 500.00 which, in my opinion, should have been caught long ago. I cancelled my debit card so no more monthly installments would be automatically deducted. Last week they said the money would be credited to my account in two days. That was Monday. It's Saturday and I'm still waiting. I've noticed that since I've stopped going, my neck nerve issue is gone. Interestingly, it started when I went there and stopped a few weeks after I stopped. Coincidence? Just be careful when you select a chiropractic professional. I certainly will not be so trusting. read more

Kriss Chiropractic saved my neck, literally!! Several months ago I sought help for what I thought for sure was an "internal decapitation" in progress. My neck hurt so bad that it seriously felt like my head was going to detach from my spine. Ouch is right! Dr. Kriss was very quick to get me in for what felt like an emergency appointment. He and his staff made me feel at home as they did a full workup. The really good news was that I was not suffering from a potential internal decapitation. The x-rays did reveal that my neck/spine had some serious issues, but none that couldn't fix the pain I was in. Dr. Kriss presented me with a plan to get me back on track physically and to heal from the pain. Lo and behold, within just the first visit, I was already experiencing a return of my range of motion and a decrease in pain. Fast forward a few more adjustments, and I was already well on my way to pain free bliss. I am now back to enjoying an active lifestyle of running, biking, swimming and most importantly giving piggy back rides to my kids. I went in the other day and saw dr hill, for they're advertised "complimentary" exam after waking up with some serious back and neck pain. Needless to say it was not complimentary, extreme false advertising here. Also he did not adjust me at all, or anything for my pain. So I walked away with less money in my pocket and still in pain. I am 24, and healthy but when he looked at my xrays it's as if it was the worst X-ray he had seen in quite a while- but I work for doctors and I could tell his "wow, this is bad, it's gonna take some time but I can fix you" routine was him setting me up for when I would see the big bill and treatment plan at next visit. My guy instincts were screaming at me that this just felt wrong, and as soon as I got in the car called my chiropractor from a few years ago and boy, when I saw him the next day, the experience was night and day!!!! read more

Nice office with a friendly staff who always greets you with a smile. Their practitioners are knowledgeable enough, but unfortunately for me, Chiropractic manipulation does nothing for my chronic back pain. I went here for over a month straight and really felt no difference whatsoever. I would not recommend. They tried the same adjustment 7 visits and told me to be patient. I discussed no results with the doctors after 4 visits. I totally had the vibe of let's run out your insurance. Despite reading other reviews the girls in the office were very nice is my only good comment. The doctors were polite but I felt like my pain wasn't being addressed in a productive way, or just say you may need to see a md doctor. I have had better results from other chiropractors within a week. And being asked to pay all your co payments upfront made me in uneasy. read more

I recommended a friend here after some severe back damage caused by an accident because this place was much closer to his home. Despite being seen by previous doctors who rated his trauma as severe, this fine institution insisted he would be fine to go back to work fully injured. Do NOT go here, they will play games with your insurance, they do not care about your health or your family. They should be doing anything and everything to help you heal, not tell you severe nerve damage will heal itself overtime and you'll be alright and pressure you to go back to work while doing NOTHING to maintain or fix pain. My experiences here were over 4 years ago and awful. Recently a co-worker visited this practice and has the same experience. While the front office was very friendly (and no longer there) as well as the associate (again gone) everything else was horrible. My first visit (with the associate) was all collecting diagnostic information, i.e. x rays, flexibility, etc. My second visit was to review the findings. I was placed in an office space to watch a generic video and left to wait, and wait, and wait. When Dr. Kriss finally went through his findings I was told it would cost several thousand (with insurance). When I told him I wasn't prepared to pay that much and could we work around my situation I was told it was "all or nothing" and in a indirect way, "there's the door." Dr. Kriss did seem very educated and knowledgeable; and he knows it and wants everyone else too. read more

BEST!!!!! I have been going to Dr Kriss for 30 years. He was the only one that could get me out of pain for my herniated disc and sciatic nerve. I only go every couple months to get relief. For a couple of years now, I have had pain in my hips, headaches, numbness in my arm and fingers, most recent are pain in hand and foot. I did not seek any help from any doctor because I did not know I had problem. My husband had this severe pain in his shoulder. The cardiologist and family doctor checked out and there were no problem in those area. Finally, he came to Dr.Kriss. He made an appointment for me also. We both have seen Dr. Kriss and his associates for 7 weeks now. Both of us are on the mends. All the symptoms are disappearing. There are no more of agoney pain now. Dr Kriss is the best!! Started going here with hip and nerve pain in my leg, and within a couple weeks of treatment, it was all gone! I go once a month for maintenance, and recently seeing him once a week for rib pain on left side due to scoliosis and one leg slightly shorter than the other. He fixed me right up with a heel lift and I'm back to normal! I recommend him to anyone who asks me who I see! read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. We are completely unimpressed. Me and my wife moved here from Kennewick wa 5 months ago. In Kennewick we had a trusted, and loved chiropractor whom we both saw on a regular basis. My wife has neck and back pain so she gave Kriss chiropractic a try. She came home with x rays and a 5 time a week plan to get on the road to recovery from what he said was "THE WORST CASE" he had every seen. I suggested my wife take the Xrays to our trusted chiropractor back home since we were there the next week. He looked them over and said that this is the type of Chiropractor that gives Chiropractors a bad name. My wife def needs some adjustments and some work done, but nothing to the extreme WORST CASE that this Kriss Chiropractic has suggested. It's sad that places like this are still in business. Plus all these bad reviews here on yelp!!! save your time, and definitely save your money. I'm sure there are HONEST offices around here that will take care of you without robbing you blind. I drive by Kriss chiropractic almost every day and I feel bad for every person i see coming in and out. Awful experience. Dr. Kriss an his staff do a great job. I re-injured my back in early december lifting weights (poorly). Dr. Kriss got me pain free in just a few weeks and now with continuing care my back feels better than it has since I was young. Dr. Kriss is very professional and straightforward-the world needs more genuine service providers like him. I have received chiropractic adjustments from many wonderful chiropractic practitioners through my lifetime and was not impressed. (By the way I'm a healthcare provider). The first appointment I was told that they would not adjust my spine as I was in too much acute pain. I called to cancel my next day appointment as the pain remained the same and I received treatment at urgent care. The receptionist called and asked "do you like to be in pain?" which was extremely rude and uncaring considering the amount of pain I was in and their lack of concern about it the prior day, but I was desperate. They were 30 minutes late for my appointment, made me watch a video explaining care and cost and financial planning. Hello Amway! The chiropractor did not assess my full spine, only performed one lumbar adjustment, was rude to my child, then handed me a contract and wanted me to sign a contract for care stating I needed to come in 5 days per week for 3 weeks, 4 days per week following, etc. for one year. What a total scam. Not only did I not feel cared for, I felt their hands searching for my bank account. I cannot tell you to run from this place fast enough. read more
