The entire team at Mid-Tex is the epitome of professionalism. When My wife got into an accident we had no doubt that Mid-Tex was the body shop of choice for us. They were very patient with my wife and answered all her questions. They dealt with the insurance claim and initiated the paperwork without us having to get involved. It was basically a one stop shop. This made it very easy in the claim process when they established a trusting customer relationship with us and we knew Mid-Tex was there to fix our car and ensure that everything was legit in the process. Scott made my wife feel safe to drive her car again because it looks as though it just drove off the showroom floor. Even when my wife felt there were some issues still with the car Scott took the car back and stood by his quality and word by touching up a few little things and it was truly appreciated by us. Everyone from the paint techs, body techs all the way up to the manager showed true concern for our car. They did a great job at a most reasonable price and did not "stick it" to the insurance company with crazy repair prices. Big Name Dealer quoted me a $$$$.+ Spoke with John and he actually listened and ask me questions to get a better understanding. He gave me some price quotes that were affordable .....IF.... the Big Name Dealer was correct in their "Dianogstics" ...BUT will still do their own diagnostic check. Drop my truck off late in the morning and and he called me with in a few hours, giving me the information from HIS diagnostic check and the price. ...............The PRICE took a bit for me to wrap my head around...lol...it was less than 10% of the quoted Big Name Dealer price.....I was stunned! John and Tony were very polite. John actually listen and asked clarifying question was very funny. He and Tony were very informative. What great HONEST guys! Great folks who are actually Mechanics. I own a Chevrolet Avalanche that the headlights stopped working, at first only occasionally. I took it to All American Chevrolet, where they changed three very expensive parts and still couldn't fix the light issue. I was pretty much despairing until I remembered this Garage Shop. I brought the vehicle in and they fixed the issue right away and charged a very reasonable price to do so. I will use these folks for all of my mechanic needs from now on. These folks are actual Mechanics and not just parts replacers. Look on the Internet and you will see that the Chevy Avalanche has issues with their lights. This is the best shop around mechanics are very thorough and do good work I first heard of them two years ago (roughly) because my dad needed some major work done to his pickup truck and didn't trust any other mechanic due to previous bad experiences he took a chance with precision automotive and has never had a problem with his truck since as for myself I was refered to them by my dad and I have to say this is the best auto shop in town i would recommend this place to anyone John is a very knowledgeable mechanic as well as very friendly and great prices quite a bit less than than anyone else would have done it for very reasonable in short great mechanics great shop if your in need of auto work definately check them out read more

Being new to Copperas Cove Texas, I had no idea where to go when I had a problem with my car. My son told me about this place so I called them and John, the owner, told me to come by and he'd take a look. He stopped what he was working on, opened the hood and in about 2 mins knew exactly what the problem was. It was close to closing so he could have told me to come back the next day but, it was a qiuck fix so he took care of it right then. Great guy!!! Very personable and professional.
