I paid $2,300 for an alternator and battery change on my Infiniti Q50 that took them two weeks to fix. When I finally picked up the car, I noticed immediately that it wasn't running right. I drove the car back immediately to the shop and pointed out that the car was handling roughly. The manager then proceeded to go into a number of explanations, which felt like problem deflection and an attempt to gaslight someone who's not as mechanically inclined as them. A week later, I had to put my car back in the shop when the check engine light came on and was informed that Elite Auto did not re-connect key hoses/connections for the turbocharger back to the engine. This resulted in further time and worry (on my part) and damage to the car. Since then, the manager of Elite Auto has been unresponsive to my calls or request for response. Had I known what I know now, I would have sucked it up and paid for another expensive tow to a more competent shop. I'd urge anyone thinking of taking their car to Elite Auto to think twice and go elsewhere.

All the other big shops were quoting me for several hours of work, so this small family owned shop easily beat the other estimates. Super friendly service, gave me a good time estimate to come back and had my car back within a couple hours. I've gone there several times for alignments. During my last visit, they told me I needed wheel bearings and gave me a written estimate of about $1,300 for parts and labor. I asked if I could supply my own parts, and they said yes, explaining only that they wouldn't be able to warranty customer-supplied parts. I specifically asked what the labor would cost and was told $645. I ordered the parts and, a few months later, called to make sure the labor price was still the same before bringing my car in. They assured me it was. When I arrived with my parts, instead of pulling up my original estimate, the employee created a new estimate with the labor increased by nearly $300. I stopped him and asked him to print my original estimate. He hesitated and only did so after I repeatedly insisted. The manager then came out and claimed the original labor price was only discounted because I was supposedly buying their parts. That explanation made no sense because I had already told them from the beginning that I would be supplying my own parts, and at that time they still quoted me $645 for labor. They never said that price depended on buying their parts. It felt like an excuse made up on the spot to justify charging me almost $900 in labor. To make matters worse, the parts they wanted to sell me were marked up by more than $500. I bought the exact same brand-new parts myself for only $170. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Make sure you get everything in writing, compare prices, and don't assume they will honor the estimates they give you. After leaving I discovered that they also have complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well

Jake at Fast Lane was a savior!…read more I had drove from San Antonio to Cooperas Cove to purchase a vehicle however, I had some concerns prior to purchasing it and needed to access to a vehicle lift (lowered muscle car) I rolled up to Fast Lane on a late Monday afternoon just minutes after closing. As I walked-in a gentleman seemed to be closing the books for the day and looked like the only person around. He greeted me and I apologized for being "that guy" and explained my situation. With a positive attitude and smile on his face Jake said let's take a look Sir. He crawled under the car for a few minutes with a flashlight and then said let's put it on the lift and see if we can take a better look and address your concerns. While on the lift he discovered some minor issues I was unaware of yet, deemed the car safe to drive. With Jakes help I was able to get the seller to work with me on the price and drive my "new to me" car home -- with peace of mind. PRICELESS. Very pleased with the service, professionalism and honesty at Fast Lane Auto. BIG shout out to Jake on choosing to provide outstanding customer service and a job well done! Thank you.
