Brides - do yourself a favor and book the Hellenic Cultural Center as your reception venue!!…read more The space is warm, inviting, and beautiful. The food is incredible, and weeks later, our guests are STILL talking about it. There was also a bridal suite and groom room on site, which was the perfect place for us all to convene for hair and makeup during the morning of the wedding. Best of all, the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating! There's so many details that other venues told us they would charge for, that the Hellenic Cultural Center included for us, which made the process so seamless! From providing decor (like hurricane vases and plate chargers) to working with outside decorators to create the space of our dreams to having a professional serving/bar staff, the Hellenic Cultural Center had everything we needed. We can't thank them enough for making the wedding of our dreams come true! Marlee helped immensely throughout the entire process by answering our thousands of questions over email, to helping on the actual big day. She was instrumental in bringing our vision to life. We are just so, so grateful to her and the whole team!!

There was a lot more variety than I ever thought possible for a buffet without meat. I would really like if they took credit cards, but I understand, it is not always easy to set these things up, and it is costly. It was so good we are going back this Friday for Good Friday. Keep doing what you are doing!

One thing I can say is that it is amazing! My husband and I made a reservation online for an igloo. We were greeted and taken to our igloo. It was very nice, we ordered some beverages and an appetizer to start. We got the Arincini to start and oooooohhh myyyy goodness, please get it! It was so yummy, the oooy gooey ness of the rice and mozzarella was exquisite, they also served it with marinara meat sauce! Great combination! The lamb chops were super tender and marinated to perfection. The mashed potatoes were also a hit for us, they use fresh potatoes and whipped it enough to be the perfect amount of creaminess. My hubby bear got the surf and turf, that was exceptional, the lobster and butter just melt in your mouth & the steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) ;) the only thing was we wished his dish had more meat haha because who wouldn't want more of that yummy goodness. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. Everyone there was super attentive and sweet. One thing that we were a little bummed about was the igloo was a bit cold my toes and fingers were pretty cold. They have a small heater in there but I would advise you to bundle up but the food and service makes up for it all!! Bon appétit!

Everything went smooth from us asking questions about how the mobile kitchen works to where the vegetarians are sitting, our seating chart and cutting the cake we provided. All the guests loved the food, I didn't received any complaints. Our wedding venue only had a prep area and didn't have a kitchen. We were very impressed how well the food turned out and everything was hot!. We have the Prime rib and Braised chicken fricassee, potato au gratin, baked gnocchi and air fried brussel sprouts. I would recommend Chowhound to anyone considering mobile catering or any event needing catering, you won't be disappointed.

I can't even begin to tell you all the compliments we got on the pictures!! I can't even begin to tell you how amazing those pictures turned out! (not to mention knowing there was NOTHING to worry about the day of!!) I felt completely at ease knowing how those were going to turn out (I am sure you have heard horror stories from other brides about how the pictures weren't what they had hoped/expected/wanted). I learned about Harthen Studios 3 years ago...they shot my best friends wedding (I LOVED the work!)....and while this sounds completely cliche, I met my husband at that wedding...then when it came time to chose my photographer, there was no question.
