I am working at home full time at the moment with two young kids. Long story short... I wanted help with a loud squeaky noise coming from my Pro-Form Hilt H14 stepper, and found the Precise Gym Equipment Service profile on OfferUp. Eddie was responsive and honestly I couldn't have asked for a better technician! He was super friendly, very insightful, and most of all detailed oriented. I also want to acknowledge, Leslie who helped with scheduling and provided me available options. She is upfront and communicative, which I appreciate. The day of installation. I got a text from Precise Gym Equipment that my technician was on his way and even when the technician was on-site. (A rarity these days!) Eddie went the extra mile and worked really hard to troubleshoot the stepper. He took his time disassembling the stepper and was thorough with the process when reassembling. This was an absolute first class experience with the service/support. I'm happy to say that I will be using Precise Gym Equipment again without any hesitation! I was having trouble with the resistance motor on my elliptical. Working with Precise Gym Equipment to get it fixed was a smooth process. Eddie was very professional and did a great job assessing the problem and fixing the machine as well tuning it up. It is now working better than ever! I was scheduled for a repair, was charged the fee $140. Never heard back from them, they never showed up on the day they were scheduled to come. And their phone number is no longer in service now. My family and I were scammed!!!!!!! Don't recommend them. read more

I have never written a review before but I am compelled to write one. This is the worst experience ever!! Do not use this company. I have a Nordictrack treadmill that is less than a year old. Daniel came out initially to replace the walking belt. He took over 2 hours just to replace the belt. While doing it, he was referring to the manual all the time. Didn't seem to me that he is experienced in what he is doing. But he did put everything back together at the end, so I thought that's ok. A day or two after he left, we used the machine and we started noticing loud noises coming from the motor. I called Precise Gym again to tell them about the issue. They scheduled for the tech to come out 3 weeks later. A few days after I made the call (less than a week after the initial appointment), the machine stopped working altogether!!! We patiently waited for our next appointment. When Daniel came out again, he didn't know what was going on. He went to google for help!! I know google knows everything, but as a tech, I would have expected him to run some diagnostic to figure out which part is not working. So google told him that the control board is blinking so I need to replace the control board. When I told him the motor is making a lot of noise, then he said my motor also needs to be replaced. He said the incline motor also needs to be replaced. My machine is less than a year old, it is very very odd that the control board needs to be replaced, the motor needs to be replaced, even the incline motor needs to be replaced all at once. But I thought ok, it's under warranty so let's call Nordictrack and they will take care of it. This is when the bombshell dropped!!! When I called Nordictrack, I found out that my warranty was voided. I had no idea my warranty was voided and no one told me so. I then found out Daniel reported me to the company that my machine is in the garage so they voided the warranty. I did not know I am not supposed to put it in the garage. That's my bad for not looking at the owner's manual carefully. I'm not asking him to lie. But at least he should have the courtesy of telling me this is what he is going to do and will void my warranty. Anyhow, regardless of the warranty issue, how on earth would the control board and both motors mysteriously break down right after Daniel came to replace the belt??!! I probably have a better chance winning the lottery than for that to happen naturally! Now I have no warranty cover, Daniel wants me to pay $600+ to get the replacement parts. And I would have to pay him to replace the parts because I am no longer covered by the warranty. Does this sound right?! The machine was working perfectly before apart from a little tear on the belt. After Daniel came, I have to pay $600+ to replace the parts?! Instead of repairing your machine, if you want your machine to break down, you can use this company!! Now I had another repair company came out (which I paid for myself), the tech ran some diagnostics and confirmed the motors are working fine. Unfortunately, the control board needs to be replaced. The noise from the motor is because the belt connecting the walking belt to the motor was not fixed properly causing the screeching noise. How can a tech not know this basic thing?! If a tech is experienced, he/she would be able to diagnose the problems rather than telling the customer to just replace the parts. As for the control board, I get it it's electronic and electronic goes funny whenever it feels like. But would it coincidentally happen right after the tech replaced my walking belt??!! I know my verdict, but I'll leave it to you to decide if you want your machine to be repaired or be in a worse state than it first started!! They just washed their hands off and didn't try to make it right. This experience is not even worth a star, it should be zero star. read more

Beware! Only contract them if you want your treadmill cleaned. Charged $95 for cleaning and "diagnosis" and never called me back for repair which was going to be $54. 2 stars for friendly technician. Very disappointing! read more

We recently had our brand new Nordic Track Treadmill repaired by Precise Gym Equipment and Repair. First, they fit us in right away as we were under a time limit for returning the treadmill. Second, Edgar and Louis were on time, efficient, and great to work with. Third, they diagnosed the problem (the treadmill was not set up correctly) and fixed it. We were so happy not to have to return the treadmill to Amazon. We will definitely use Precise Gym Equipment and Repair in the future for all our treadmill needs. read more
