Paul was simply amazing! Called him around 9am made an appointment at 12pm luckily he had the controller board for my Nordic trac x32i the belt had stopped working. He came by Checked to make sure it was the controller fixed it in about 20 mins serviced the treadmill as well as I never did now it runs like new! I am so glad I called him and he was able to fix it for me literally the same day. I told him I had to leave by 3pm he said no problem. A-1 Treadmill Repair got the job done for a reasonable price. I have an old Merit Precision 725T Plus. It started making horrible noises and slipping to the point where if felt like I was going to throw my back out. Anyhoo, I called around to many different locations to get a quote on a repair. If you've done your research, just getting the quote can be expensive, plus unlike other services, they won't apply the cost of the quote to the actual repair. So getting your treadmill repaired can cost you at least $300+. But I didn't want to do the research to find a new treadmill. And it's so hard to find a good one. Paul was able to fit me in quickly and showed up on time. He diagnosed my treadmill and said that I needed a new belt, which I kind of figured. He said the motor was fine and probably would be worth it to purchase the belt. So I ordered the belt through Treadmill Doctors. Came in about a week. Called Paul to make the appointment. Again, he was able to fit me in to his schedule. And trust me, I'm sure his schedule is quite busy. He gave me an hour window. Showed up at the beginning of the window. He came in, disassembled and replaced the belt. He did say the belt I received was about an inch too short, but he made it work. Thank you!!! I'm very happy and back to using a much quieter treadmill. I will definitely refer Paul and would use him again. He's matter of fact, his prices are reasonable, and he's flexible. read more

The call center assistance was ok. However, their business model of scheduling third party techs without checking for customer availability is very poor. Also, they require an upfront service call fee before they can schedule someone to come by and the $145 service fee is higher than most other services in the area and typically that charge is done after the service visit. I wouldn't recommend them. Updated review- mistook A-1 for ATI I mistakenly reviewed A-1. The company I meant to review was ATI. Service provided was okay. This service was for a safety key issue not responding to the console on my Proform 5000 iFit console even though the key was plugged into the magnetic mount. The troubleshooting he went through was practically the same thing I did or would've done. I was hoping he had more knowledge in fixing console, instead he just suggested to replace the whole console which would've cost me $500-$800 to purchase. I ended up solving the issue myself and manage to bypass the safety key requirement the console demands. Only cost me less than $15 for parts. So I definitely saved money. However I would not suggest this route if you actually care about having a safety key but for me personally I couldn't care less about it. I believe general replacement parts and repair like motors and belts by this company would be good but not for console work. read more

He was incredibly knowledgeable, quick, and gave me everything I needed to be able to save myself a bunch of money. He even added in a little lubrication maintenance for free, just since he was already in there. His services were an excellent deal--worth every cent! I don't trust my lousy treadmill further than I can throw it, but I definitely trust Paul to fix it the next time it gives me trouble. Called Paul this morning and he was able to come out same day. My older model treadmill (Nordic Track) hadn't been serviced in years and was starting to get quite noisy. Paul found that a screw was missing from underneath and replaced it, tighten up some other screws, applied lubricant, and whatever else came with maintenance and my treadmill is much better. Thank you Paul for fixing my treadmill!! I have a Horizon T-101 Treadmill. I bought it January 2024. I made the mistake of over loosening the belt while adding lube. I hadn't been able to align/adjust the belt back to "normal". I didn't know if it was too loose or too tight or needing more lube so I would add more lube. . Whenever I walked; the belt stopped or slipped. I hadn't used it for almost 6 months!! Trying to fix it on my own was super overwhelming. I decided to reach out to Paul, he responded super quick & was at my house the following day. He immediately knew what was wrong, he opened the motor cover and confirmed the drive belt was soaked in lube. He ordered a new drive belt for me & came back about a week later . He installed the new one, cleaned & adjusted the deck/belt. I would've NEVER known the drive belt was also part of the issue. Now my treadmill is brand new again; running smoothly. Paul came to my house (right on time) and quickly diagnosed the problem with my NordicTrack 2000. The belt needed to be replaced and the cost would be about $350 including parts. He recommended that I do not do the repair since the machine was about 25 years old and he felt that other components could fail soon due to age and use. As he prepared to leave I asked him if other clients of his had good treadmills that were lightly used and available for purchase. He said he mostly works on commercial machines but he had a 2022 model the he would sell me for $400. I had agreed to and owed him $120 for the service call so I suggested a deal for the used machine and the service call at $400 and he agreed. I asked him if it would fit in my VW Bus (it would not) so I told him I would rent a truck at Home Depot and drop by later that afternoon since it was near his location. At that point he said he owned a truck and would bring it to me (I am about 10 minutes away). We shook hands and again, right on time, he arrived with the new machine and even helped me get it into the house and to the room where it would be located. He gave me detailed instructions on how to disassemble it to get it through the door and was on his way. Very efficient. Very courteous. Very honest. I highly recommend Paul and A1 Treadmill repair. And, my new treadmill is great and available used on eBay for over $1,000!! read more

The guy walked in my house and just looked at my treadmill and said looks like you need to new motor. I said aren't you going to turn it on and test it? So he turned it on and said yeah I can tell by the way it sounds you need a new motor. The treadmill sounded the same as it always did from the time I bought it. He doesn't seem trustworthy. He would have to order the motor I would have to pay for it and the shipping and pay him another 120$ to come back and pay for the labor. More than the worth of the treadmill. The problem with the treadmill is sometimes when I'm on it, it stops running. If the motor is the problem and he is a treadmill repair man he should know how to fix or work on the motor. It is very rare for a business not to push their business. My threadmill stops in the middle of my workout and to avoid any mishaps, i decided to check out people who can repair it. Contacted these guys and almost instantly got a reply from Paul. My replies are usually late bit his was always prompt. To summarize our convo, he basically said it's not even worth having my threadmill repaired (lol). Horrible service unprofessional and expensive. Left our treadmill in worst condition fixed absolutely nothing $140 just to adjust the belt on top of that left some wires lose called him and asked him if he could fix it and just told us to fix it ourselves. Don't waste your money!!!! I tried to use it this morning and my breaker keeps going off and sparks are coming out of it.
