The first day we came, the front desk lady was very nice and set us up to come the next day to get a tour of the center and to discuss options. We met with the owner and talked with him for about an hour and a half going through an assessment of what we are looking for and what our fitness goals are. It was nice to have a trainer actually do this as we hadn't experienced that from the past personal training gym we were going to! This was a plus to us. He told us we could text him to set up a time to try out the group workouts for free. We texted him the next day and told him what days we could do, he let us know a lady (I'm assuming a trainer) would be contacting us to set that up. He also asked my husband if he could personally set something up with him one on one to get some training sessions started with him. He asked when would be a good time for him to call my husband, my husband let him know, but he never called nor contacted us to reschedule. Also, the lady that was suppose to call us to set up the group sessions never called either. Obviously they don't need new clients who care to join their gym so we decided we are going to continue searching for a good personal training gym in our area. Very disappointing as it looked like a cool gym, but when the owner/trainer can't even give us a call when they said they would, it tells us something. Worst thing is we haven't heard from them since!

The facility is kept clean and I haven't had any issues with the saunas or equipment. I like that it is self sufficient. I haven't had the need to but you can rent or buy equipment or snacks from a vending machine on-site. I like the weights area for a post hiit workout session. It's easy to book sessions via the app. I also feel safe being there during non-staffed hours.

I don't want this to come off negative but I'm writing this review to give honest feedback. I purchased a class for my little sister and I to start her birthday off with a positive environment (she's new to the area). We are both familiar with pilates as we take classes weekly but I believe every instructor has their own style and this was our first time at this studio. We weren't welcomed by the instructor nor did she introduce herself to us which felt a bit awkward and unwelcoming. My confirmation email also said nothing about needing grip socks (the studio that I frequent doesn't require them as you can choose to be barefoot or use grip socks) so I wasn't prepared to spend additional money to purchase their socks on top of our class fee. There were certain movements that we didn't quite catch on to as fast as the instructor was telling us to move and it didn't seem like she cared to take the time to explain anything, repeat anything, or encourage us. The instructor very much so focused on about three of the other ladies in the class and talked with them throughout the class. It wasn't until I finally just sat on my reformer until one of the sequences was through that the instructor came over and asked if I wanted a modification and by then it was the end of the class and we felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I'm pretty dissatisfied with the service and I really wish I would've spent my money elsewhere for my sisters birthday. It's a cute place but to feel unwelcome because we aren't regulars felt really wrong to us. I don't know that we will be back.

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about joining: for the workouts I do, you're required to use their mat and towel. I saw that mentioned in other reviews before I signed up, so I was mentally prepared for the extra cost (about $100 for both). They were running a $1 enrollment special when I joined, so that helped balance things out. Everyone here has been super friendly, and I've had a great experience so far. I've already recommended Hotworx to my friends and family. Hopefully this review helps someone else feel more prepared too!

I didn't even realize how above and beyond it is until I moved away and had another place become my "home location". Christine and Will do SO much for their members. They really put effort into showing how much they care and they treat you like an individual, not just a number. They acknowledge your accomplishments with a shout out, they host events, they provide free samples from local businesses, and they always provide excellent customer service. They're just really compassionate & passionate people and it's very obvious they love what they do. That love pours over into how well the gym and its members are taken care of. I haven't found that in another location since moving away.
