Her suggestion of a crown didnt really surprise me, but she also caught that I had an uncrowded root canal. A finace guy came in, showed me the list of suggestions, and said I can apply for no interest financing (thank god! Stupid me thought insurance would cover it all ). He explained it all, I signed off and the work to crown my tooth began The doc was informative, nice, light handed and very cautious. They had a lot of up to date technologies my older dds didnt have. The environment was carying and pleasnt. Only reason this isnt 5 is because I felt the prices might have been a little high? My previous dentist had retired, and I was referred to Dr. Sun by my oral surgeon, Dr. Scaramella, who is also excellent. When I called to schedule, I was surprised they could see me the very next day on a Saturday. During that single visit, Dr. Sun repaired three fillings and completed a cleaning. My former dentist would typically require three separate appointments for this amount of work. I was in and out in 90 minutes. Dr. Sun listened carefully and made the experience comfortable. She shared stories about her life that were genuinely entertaining, which helped me relax during the appointment. Her assistant was also excellent. She was personable, down to earth, and helped coordinate future visits around my busy schedule and my daughters' availability. I'm bringing my daughters in this month. Update - after a 3D scan and two Endos the root canal was not done correctly , had to have a second…read moreroot canal and now on antibiotics for the massive infection it caused which went into the bone. Per the specialist "your dentist did not do the root canal correct some was left which over time grew into a massive infection" Originally went in for one issue, but ended up having additional work done, including a bridge and root canal. More than 2 years later, after living with ongoing pain, he sought a second opinion from another dentist and a specialist. Both told him he now needs extensive corrective treatment. At this point, I don't even feel it's worth contacting the office because I no longer believe they would address our concerns. We've lost trust in the care we received. My own experience has been just as frustrating. I had three root canals done here, and one has caused ongoing pain ever since. I returned multiple times, only to be told that everything "looked fine." Even after X-rays, I was told nothing was wrong, but it doesn't feel fine. Living with persistent pain while being told everything is normal has been incredibly discouraging. We've spent thousands of dollars on dental work, yet both of us are still dealing with pain and now face additional treatment to correct these issues. I cannot recommend this office based on our experience. This review is long over due started 3 years ago, but it's been that long that the both of us have been dealing with and correcting issues. And still getting corrected.
