Update- December 2023. It's been five years that I've been coming to Dr Mauricio & I am so happy with his impeccable detailed caring service, as well as behind the desk, billing, they've all been absolutely wonderful, it's worth the hour plus drive each way for me even just to get my teeth cleaning done here. A friend of mine referred me to Dr Mauricio just over 2 years ago. I'm so happy with the work he has done. I drive from Studio City & yes his worth the hour drive each way, that's how good Dr Mauricio is. I had to have a miner sinus lift, bone graft & 2 implants, plus a tooth pulled, as I had an the infection that was "already there. It took just over a year to complete everything. He did such a wonderful job, also I have to say he took his time to explain & showing me each step that was needed, with his modern technology machinery he has. He was a gentle working on me, compared to other dentists that I've been to. I'm a baby when it comes to teeth work. I wanted to wait to write my review until all work was completed and settled in. I did get 2 other local dentist consultations but they were too eager to give me full mouth veneers as well as the other work that I really needed to be done. Thank-you Dr Mauricio for not trying to talk me into changing my own good teeth & putting all veneers, as well as the work that I just needed done. Saving me the pain, time as well as the money, when the rest of my own teeth are perfectly good. Also thanks to your well trained stuff for working out payments. Now I just go in for my maintenance, cleaning. read more

The doctor is good but the office manager is no good she told she will call me 3 weeks later after she hears from my insurance to give me a appointment for a transplant she never called it's been a year or more . She tried to sell me everything I don't need. Her customer service or just her service is trash. read more

Fillmore Dental Group is simply filled with a team of exceptional professionals truly passionate in helping people bring out their best healthy smile. I speak on behalf of my parents who have had the pleasure of becoming patients for a little over three months now. Living in Los Angeles, 60 miles away from my parents who now reside in Fillmore, CA - I was on a mission to find a dental office that would take care of all their dental needs. My dad was in major need of dental work - like asap. I searched on Yelp hoping to find something within their new hometown of Fillmore - Fillmore Dental Group was the first thing that popped up and it began from there. I enjoyed thoroughly reading all of their positive feedback and realized they were very close to home. I spoke to my dad and gave him the address with a few details, he showed up the same day (he's old school and had to speak to someone in person) and was greeted and helped with such diligence it made my dad feel welcomed at once. Yuliana helped with his paperwork and was so wonderful - she called me directly and we spoke about my father's options. Although she is fluent in English & Spanish and spoke with my dad about his needs, it helped to speak with her to help counsel my dad with his best options, given his financial budget. Yuliana was so professional, so helpful and so clear in clarifying the dental needs my dad required (cost breakdown, payment plan options, dental extraction procedure, implants). Both my parents are now patients at Fillmore Dental Group and they are very pleased with the assistance, the patience and the positive energy Yuliana, Heidi, Maria and Jose provide each and every time they come in. The doctors (Dr. Mauricio Fonrodona) are incredible and are transforming people's smiles on a daily basis. It sure is magnificent to see my dad's transformation thus far. The care they give my dad with all the extensive dental work they've performed on him is truly indescribable - top notch, highest quality group of professionals changing lives without a doubt. On behalf of my parents, Javier, Guillermina and I, we thank you so much for treating your patience like a million bucks - for truly understanding your patients' needs. Additional details - Parking: Never a problem, many spots available provided. Atmosphere: Super trendy, modern and very clean. With Gratitude, The Michel Family read more

Dr. Fonrodona rocks!! Couldn't be happier with a dentist visit. I am really nervous and can't control my fear at a dental appointment. Dr. Fonrodona was extremely nice, knowledgeable, professional and explained me each step of my treatment. I was attended on time. All of the staff (including the front desk) was really courteous and helpful, the office is so clean, comfortable and they have all the latest technology to do the procedures, NO impressions needed because he used intra oral scanner!! I highly recommend this place to everyone one... Thank you for making my experience excellent!! read more

The doctors and staff are nice however my husband came here for a root canal and was then told that he should have all his amalgams replaced because they were silver fillings which is 50 percent mercury. He had 15 of them and they removed all within a couple weeks of each other. 7 and 8 at a time. So Just be careful if you need to have this done. We didn't know until after that you should see a biological dentist because there is a proper protocol and equipment to do this safely which was not done. My husband ended up in the hospital with neurological issues. He couldn't speak, he had muscle spasms, heart palpitations, ringing in his ears. He couldn't control his body. They did every test you can think of and couldn't figure out what was wrong. We finally found an environmental doctor that said these were symptoms of mercury poisoning and that when you have silver fillings removed, you need to do it safely and there is a proper protocol and safety equipment that should be used because you inhale the vapor and it gets absorbed through your lungs into your blood and then stored in soft tissue in the brain. My husbands test showed lots of mercury. He was only able to get fully better after a year of chelation treatments every week which pulled the mercury from his brain. It was $170 a week to do this and he was unable to work for 6 months. We had two little kids and it was so emotionally and financially burdensome. But we are grateful that we found a doctor that knew what it was and was able to help. So I'm not saying these doctors are not friendly, but we wish we would have done our research before agreeing to the treatment plan and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

I'm not entirely sure why this place has so many great reviews. We used to love them several years ago. They had a change in office staff and the place went down hill. They quoted me things based on insurance and the numbers were way wrong. I feel like we've been overcharged. But it gets worse. I got a bill today from March of 2016. A year and a half???? So weird. I called insurance and they had actually paid it within several weeks. I went through my statements and found out Fillmore Dental did in fact over charge. So they owe me a check not this outrageous bill. I refuse to see these people again which basically stinks because the dentists are actually really decent. It's just the office people. read more

I highly recommend Fillmore Dental Group. After taking my daughter to two other dentists, we finally came across an office that met all my expectations. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were accommodating to my schedule and I was able to schedule an appointment without a hassle. Dr. Fonrodona is very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the outcome of my daughter's visit. Besides the great service, their prices are affordable and they also offer a payment plan. Having a dentist that cares and treats you like family is always a reason to come back. Thank you! read more

Absolutely terrible service. At first they didn't contact our insurance properly and stated service wasn't covered. Then today they cancelled my appointment without notifying me because they couldn't get a hold of me. They called when I was in a meeting, didn't leave any messages, no text, no email, nothing that would indicate a possible cancellation. I took tome off work for this appointment only to find out it had been cancelled the morning of. Terrible customer service. Will never refer this place to anyone. BTW, I would give a zero star if I had an option. read more

I recently had an implant done by Dr. Mauricio and it turned out beautiful. It was my front tooth so I was a bit nervous. During the entire process, he was very informative, detailed, and thorough with his work. I could tell that he was very meticulous and such a perfectionist. He took his time explaining the process every time. Although, it was a long process since I had to get bone graphing done, it was well worth the wait. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mauricio if you're looking to get an implant done. Thank you for your stellar work! read more

The dental assistants were very nice, friendly, and thorough with explaining the extraction procedure. The dentist made sure I was comfortable the entire time and asked if it would hurt and if it did he'd give more numbing medication. For my cleaning the DA went beyond my typical cleaning and even asked the dentist to come in to remove a left over glue stain from a different orthodontist when I had braces over 4 years ago. They left my teeth feeling so clean and nice! read more

I was in the worst pain I have ever been in, I was in need of two root canals on my front tooth and one next to it. I literally was in tears (If you've had an infection you know the pain). I was about to go to the hospital, no lie. But I thought I'd stop by and get an opinion from "Fillmore Dental Group". They knew what was wrong with in minutes, they helped me that same day because I was suffering. They even made a couple corrections to a previous crown I had, made my teeth look so nice and straight. I am greatful to the staff and dentists there. I recommend this place to everyone. Definitely going to be my only dentist from now on. Thank you I am blessed to pick this place. Dr Mauricio Fonrodona is the best Dentist around. I'm willing to drive one hour for him, although there are many good dentists in my area. He has done extensive dental work on me with the highest quality and professionalism. He doesn't push unnecessary treatment like other dentists do and is very patient and gentle. I will not let any other dentist near my mouth. I highly recommend Dr Fonrodona. It's worth the long drive. read more
