I need my widow teeth out URGENTLY (all 4 are impacted) and I made an appointment with them. Initially they gave me a price and I informed them I already had the necessary X-rays for the procedure; they said they'd see and let me know if it would be less later if I still needed another and would need to pay MORE. So I scheduled my appointment and went hopes for the best but when I got there they still tried to make me pay for X-rays and I had to inform them again my dentist had already sent them over and they HAD received them. After this they wanted to schedule my surgery (pre-approval). I asked to wait to schedule until approval because they told me if pay $2,000+ and then based on IF it was approved they'd reimburse me. I said no thanks I would just wait cause they informed me it'd be a max of 8 weeks. After over 2 months I sent them several messages via their online website messenger asking to see if it was approved to schedule because I was in so much pain. They didn't bother getting back to me on any of those requests. After that I tried calling and asking if it was approved and they told me NO. When I asked if it'd be possible to check because it'd been so long they told me no and they weren't gonna call or pursue it. They told me to contact my insurance and blamed them. When I called my insurance they informed me that it was approved THE SAME DAY. They also sent them over the information and verified the surgery center had made no effort to contact them after submitting. After this I tried to inform the doctors I had seen about the issues and refusal to help with an APPROVED CLAIM and got no call back or anything. But can't expect much when they also informed me they don't document the calls they take (the secretary was kind enough to inform me, since they didn't log the MULTIPLE calls I made trying to get this appointment because I was in pain. My son who is 11 years old has a rather complex case with the Ortho. They recommended we get ANCORS aka TADS to retrain the JAW, (we have/had an underbite) as the first faze face mask did not work. We went to multiple Oral Surgeons for consults. I had heard many stories online about the different cultures of offices here in our community. I dived right in. It took me months to decided. It was an investment. Not many Drs are educated in this particular SURGERY!! Ramsey is tho! He is so educated and so YOUNG!! I loved how Ramseys office had a very comfortable vibe to it. The surgeon had his regular assistant and she was so nurturing to my child. Every time we went in she was there!! I loved the consistency!! Ana became like my son's MAMA DURING THE SURGERY!! He felt so at ease with her since I couldn't be in the room. She had it all UNDER CONTROL and was super calm!!! We had the surgery done in January and it is JULY now!! wow! time FLIES!! I started with Smile Care this pass year. Smile Care's office is clean, up to date with their equipment, and their care team is Excellent with their communications with me regarding my oral health. Dr. Hedvat is nice, and a straight shooter. I am not sure he knows he has a sense of humor, but he makes me laugh. Dolores, the hygienist - well, she is amazing. I let her know that I am very sensitive to the epi when I am there for the deep cleaning, and she conquers it, and allows me to be epi free with minimal discomfort. She's gentle, kind, and funny. And on May 4. 2026 I had an implant That same evening, the top portion of the implant screw came loose and fell out while I was sleeping, creating a serious choking concern. When I contacted the office the following morning, I was told that the dentist could not see me that day because they were very busy , and was offered an appointment for the following week. Because I was concerned about the exposed implant area and the possibility of infection, I went to the office in person to request assistance or a referral to another dentist. No body was there the closed the door as soon they saw me , and Instead of receiving help, I was told to leave, and a staff member threatened to call the police if I did not. I was unable to obtain timely follow-up care from the office for a complication that occurred immediately after treatment. I had to seek treatment elsewhere and pay additional out-of-pocket costs. When the other dental office requested my X-rays, the original office did not release them to that provider, making it more difficult for another dentist to continue my care. This experience raised serious concerns about patient safety, follow-up care, communication, and access to dental records. Patients should receive timely assistance when complications occur and should not have to incur additional costs because their treating office refuses to provide appropriate support. Now I'm in a very bad situation. I still have to put the crown on. I'm very stressed out because of the situation!
