Dr. Hedvat is nice, and a straight shooter. I am not sure he knows he has a sense of humor, but he makes me laugh. Dolores, the hygienist - well, she is amazing. I've been going to this dental group for years and have always been loyal to the practice, which is…read morewhy it's disappointing to see how much the customer service has declined recently. The biggest frustration is that they are no longer willing to bill insurance on my behalf, leaving the patient to deal with the insurance process themselves. After years of being a patient, I find this especially disappointing. On top of that, it seems increasingly difficult to actually reach someone at the office. You have to jump through hoops just to get a live person on the phone, and when you finally do, the interaction often feels rushed and as though they are annoyed that you called. I understand that offices get busy, but customer service and communication are a big part of the overall patient experience. Unfortunately, the level of service I've received recently is very different from what I experienced when I first became a patient. After being with this practice for years, I'm now seriously reconsidering whether it's the right fit for me going forward.

I finally got the courage to go in and get my own dental work done! Just like many patients, I had been procrastinating because of fear, cost, and all the usual excuses. I am SO glad I finally went. The office is beautiful, and the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They also have great technology, including a digital scanner and AI, which helped make the whole visit informative, efficient, and effective. But most importantly, the experience was friendly and PAINLESS! As a dentist myself, I have to give special recognition to Dr. Fridman's anesthetic technique--it was honestly one of the best I have personally experienced. My procedure went quickly and painlessly, and I even got to see the before-and-after photos and X-rays. Excellent work and a great experience from beginning to end. Thank you very much, Dr. Fridman and the entire Fridman Family Dental Care team. You guys just earned another PFL--Patient For Life!

When the business was sold, I was switched to Dr. Fridman herself. She was ok, but not as reassuring and comforting as Dr. Weber. Then, I was unexpectedly switched to Dr. Fariq for a procedure, but I had not yet gained a level of trust and comfort with Dr. Fariq. At that point, I felt like a commodity. The providers at Fridman Dental may indeed be great. Just be aware you may feel treated more like a business asset than a sensitive and vulnerable human being. At my last visit I requested for Dr. Fridman to call me to discuss this issue. I never got a call back from her, so I decided to share my feedback here, instead.

I recently had a bad fall that caused trauma to my face and teeth, and I came in with two main concerns. The first was fixing my chipped front tooth. They did an incredible job with the filling. It looks just like my natural tooth, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! My second concern was getting another opinion on a treatment plan I had received elsewhere. They took the time to explain that because of the trauma, my mouth and teeth need time to heal so we can see how they respond over the next few weeks before rushing into thousands of dollars of additional dental work. I really appreciated the more conservative approach and how thoroughly everything was explained to me. I also have a lot of dental anxiety, and everyone at Valencia Aesthetic Dentistry was incredibly kind, patient, and caring. I genuinely felt heard and cared for, not rushed or pressured. They even made sure my insurance was in-network before moving forward, which I especially appreciated. I went in looking for a second opinion and left knowing I had found my new dentist. I will absolutely be returning to Valencia Aesthetic Dentistry for all of my future dental care. Highly recommend!

At this point, she knows so much about my life and kids that I'm pretty sure she knows as much about me as my therapist. Thank you Carrie. My cleanings are always thorough and comfortable. All of the dentists here have been wonderful as well. I originally started coming when it was Dr. Fealey's office, and the transition to the current team was so smooth that it honestly never felt like anything changed -- except I somehow still keep getting older which is becoming evident in my teeth. The care, consistency, kindness, and professionalism here are hard to beat. Once I arrived the wait was a bit longer than I expected. Finally I was called by the receptionist who whispered, "I don't know if they told you, but there's a $450 payment due before you can see the doctor, and we don't accept insurance." "You can see if your insurance will reimburse you, they might since this is considered preventative." I laughed and said No, I wasn't told. I'd driven over an hour so I paid it. After I paid the $450 I sat about 10 minutes and someone came smiling to take me on a "Tour" of the office. Yes, the office is "High Tech" I felt as if it was staged and all who played a part would get a bit of the $450 I payed that day. The two brothers, I believe one is a DDS were very relaxed and there was just something different about them. I felt as if they were putting on an act. After showing me the office they took X-rays, showed me and explained a bit of the procedures, answered questions and back to the waiting room. I was then called into an office and presented with some suggested minerals to take prior to beginning the procedure, $165. Next came the cost. Glad I was sitting down because $46,000 would have floored me. This spoke volumes to me. I honestly didn't feel comfortable from the receptionist whispering, to the DDS coming in the room gocking at me, to the person selling me the minerals. Have you ever been somewhere you know you're not welcome. That's how I felt. I'd actually spend the money if I felt welcomed and treated the same as the others who came in. So for me it's a NO! If I'm to spend that amount of money it's going to be with a business who values my business and respects me as a person. And know, it's not what you say, but how you are treated!
